Éstos son los jefes de las casas paternas y la genealogía de los que subieron conmigo desde Babilonia en el reinado del rey Artajerjes:

Y ESTOS son los cabezas de sus familias, y genealogía de aquellos que subieron conmigo de Babilonia, reinando el rey Artajerjes:

These are now the chief of their fathers, and this is the genealogy of them that went up with me from Babylon, in the reign of Artaxerxes the king.

Los reuní junto al río que corre hacia Ahava y acampamos allí tres días. Pasé revista al pueblo y a los sacerdotes, pero no encontré allí de los hijos de Leví.

Y juntélos junto al río que viene á Ahava, y reposamos allí tres días: y habiendo buscado entre el pueblo y entre los sacerdotes, no hallé allí de los hijos de Leví.

And I gathered them together to the river that runneth to Ahava; and there abode we in tents three days: and I viewed the people, and the priests, and found there none of the sons of Levi.

Entonces despaché á Eliezer, y á Ariel, y á Semaías, y á Elnathán, y á Jarib, y á Elnathán, y á Nathán, y á Zacarías, y á Mesullam, principales; asimismo á Joiarib y á Elnathán, hombres doctos;

Then sent I for Eliezer, for Ariel, for Shemaiah, and for Elnathan, and for Jarib, and for Elnathan, and for Nathan, and for Zechariah, and for Meshullam, chief men; also for Joiarib, and for Elnathan, men of understanding.

Les di instrucciones para Iddo, jefe en la localidad de Casifia. Les dije lo que debían hablar a Iddo y a su hermano, quienes estaban a cargo de Casifia, para que nos trajeran ayudantes para el Templo de nuestro ʼElohim.

Y enviélos á Iddo, jefe en el lugar de Casipia, y puse en boca de ellos las palabras que habían de hablar á Iddo, y á sus hermanos los Nethineos en el lugar de Casipia, para que nos trajesen ministros para la casa de nuestro Dios.

And I sent them with commandment unto Iddo the chief at the place Casiphia, and I told them what they should say unto Iddo, and to his brethren the Nethinims, at the place Casiphia, that they should bring unto us ministers for the house of our God.

Según la bondadosa mano de nuestro ʼElohim sobre nosotros, nos trajeron a un varón entendido de los hijos de Mahli, descendiente de Leví, hijo de Israel, y a Serabías con sus hijos y sus hermanos: 18;

Y trajéronnos, según la buena mano de nuestro Dios sobre nosotros, un varón entendido de los hijos de Mahalí, hijo de Leví, hijo de Israel; y á Serabías con sus hijos y sus hermanos, dieciocho;

And by the good hand of our God upon us they brought us a man of understanding, of the sons of Mahli, the son of Levi, the son of Israel; and Sherebiah, with his sons and his brethren, eighteen;

y de los servidores, a quienes David y los jefes destinaron para el servicio a los levitas, fueron 220 servidores del Templo, todos designados por nombres.

Y de los Nethineos, á quienes David con los príncipes puso para el ministerio de los Levitas, doscientos y veinte Nethineos: todos los cuales fueron declarados por sus nombres.

Also of the Nethinims, whom David and the princes had appointed for the service of the Levites, two hundred and twenty Nethinims: all of them were expressed by name.

Y allí, junto al río de Ahava, proclamé un ayuno para humillarnos delante de nuestro ʼElohim, a fin de suplicar de Él un buen viaje para nosotros, nuestros pequeños y también toda nuestra hacienda.

Y publiqué ayuno allí junto al río de Ahava, para afligirnos delante de nuestro Dios, para solicitar de él camino derecho para nosotros, y para nuestros niños, y para toda nuestra hacienda.

Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river of Ahava, that we might afflict ourselves before our God, to seek of him a right way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance.

Tuve vergüenza de pedir infantería y caballería al rey para que nos protegiera del enemigo en el camino. Por tanto hablamos al rey: La mano de nuestro ʼElohim está a favor de todos los que lo buscan, pero su poder y su ira están contra todos los que lo abandonan.

Porque tuve vergüenza de pedir al rey tropa y gente de á caballo que nos defendiesen del enemigo en el camino: porque habíamos hablado al rey, diciendo: La mano de nuestro Dios es para bien sobre todos los que le buscan; mas su fortaleza y su furor sobre todos los que le dejan.

For I was ashamed to require of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy in the way: because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek him; but his power and his wrath is against all them that forsake him.

Ayunamos y pedimos a nuestro ʼElohim sobre esto, y Él atendió nuestro ruego.

So we fasted and besought our God for this: and he was intreated of us.

Luego aparté a 12 de los principales entre los sacerdotes, a Serebías y Hasabías, y con ellos a diez de sus hermanos.

Then I separated twelve of the chief of the priests, Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and ten of their brethren with them,

Pesamos la plata, el oro y los utensilios sagrados delante de ellos. El rey, sus consejeros, sus jefes y los de Israel que estaban allí ofrecieron esta ofrenda para el Templo de nuestro ʼElohim.

Y peséles la plata, y el oro, y los vasos, la ofrenda que para la casa de nuestro Dios habían ofrecido el rey, y sus consultores, y sus príncipes, y todos los que se hallaron en Israel.

And weighed unto them the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, even the offering of the house of our God, which the king, and his counsellors, and his lords, and all Israel there present, had offered:

Después yo pesé en mano de ellos 21,45 toneladas de plata, 3.300 toneladas en objetos de plata, 3,3 toneladas de oro,

Pesé pues en manos de ellos seiscientos y cincuenta talentos de plata, y vasos de plata por cien talentos, y cien talentos de oro;

I even weighed unto their hand six hundred and fifty talents of silver, and silver vessels an hundred talents, and of gold an hundred talents;

20 tazones de oro por valor de 8 kilogramos y dos objetos de bronce reluciente, preciosos como el oro.

Además veinte tazones de oro, de mil dracmas; y dos vasos de metal limpio muy bueno, preciados como el oro.

Also twenty basons of gold, of a thousand drams; and two vessels of fine copper, precious as gold.

twenty bowls of gold weighing one thousand darics, and two vessels of fine bright bronze, precious as gold.

Les dije: Ustedes están consagrados a Yavé, y los objetos son sagrados. La plata y el oro son ofrenda voluntaria para Yavé, el ʼElohim de sus antepasados.

Y díjeles: Vosotros sois consagrados á Jehová, y santos los vasos; y la plata y el oro ofrenda voluntaria á Jehová, Dios de nuestros padres.

And I said unto them, Ye are holy unto the LORD; the vessels are holy also; and the silver and the gold are a freewill offering unto the LORD God of your fathers.

I said to them, “You are holy to the LORD, and the vessels are holy. The silver and the gold are a free will offering to the LORD, the God of your fathers.

Sean vigilantes y custódienlos hasta que los depositen en las cámaras del Templo de Yavé, delante de los principales sacerdotes y levitas, y de los jefes de las casas paternas de Israel en Jerusalén.

Velad, y guardadlos, hasta que los peséis delante de los príncipes de los sacerdotes y Levitas, y de los jefes de los padres de Israel en Jerusalem, en las cámaras de la casa de Jehová.

Watch ye, and keep them, until ye weigh them before the chief of the priests and the Levites, and chief of the fathers of Israel, at Jerusalem, in the chambers of the house of the LORD.

Watch and keep them until you weigh them before the chiefs of the priests, the Levites, and the princes of the fathers’ households of Israel at Jerusalem, in the rooms of the LORD’s house.”

De este modo los sacerdotes y levitas recibieron la plata y el oro por peso y los objetos para llevarlos al Templo de nuestro ʼElohim en Jerusalén.

Los sacerdotes pues y Levitas recibieron el peso de la plata y del oro y de los vasos, para traerlo á Jerusalem á la casa de nuestro Dios.

So took the priests and the Levites the weight of the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, to bring them to Jerusalem unto the house of our God.

Entonces salimos del río Ahava el 12 del mes primero para ir a Jerusalén. La mano de nuestro ʼElohim estaba sobre nosotros. Nos libró de la mano del enemigo y las emboscadas en el camino.

Y partimos del río de Ahava el doce del mes primero, para ir á Jerusalem: y la mano de nuestro Dios fué sobre nosotros, el cual nos libró de mano de enemigo y de asechador en el camino.

Then we departed from the river of Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month, to go unto Jerusalem: and the hand of our God was upon us, and he delivered us from the hand of the enemy, and of such as lay in wait by the way.

El cuarto día, la plata, el oro y los vasos del Templo de nuestro ʼElohim fueron entregados por peso a los levitas Meremot, hijo del sacerdote Urías, Eleazar, hijo de Finees, Jozabad, hijo de Jesuá, y Noadías, hijo de Binúi.

Al cuarto día fué luego pesada la plata, y el oro, y los vasos, en la casa de nuestro Dios, por mano de Meremoth hijo de Urías sacerdote, y con él Eleazar hijo de Phinees; y con ellos Jozabad hijo de Jesuá, y Noadías hijo de Binnui, Levitas;

Now on the fourth day was the silver and the gold and the vessels weighed in the house of our God by the hand of Meremoth the son of Uriah the priest; and with him was Eleazar the son of Phinehas; and with them was Jozabad the son of Jeshua, and Noadiah the son of Binnui, Levites;

On the fourth day the silver and the gold and the vessels were weighed in the house of our God into the hand of Meremoth the son of Uriah the priest; and with him was Eleazar the son of Phinehas; and with them were Jozabad the son of Jeshua, and Noadiah the son of Binnui, the Levites.

Todo fue contado por número y por peso. Todo fue escrito en esa ocasión.

Por cuenta y por peso todo: y se apuntó todo aquel peso en aquel tiempo.

By number and by weight of every one: and all the weight was written at that time.

Everything was counted and weighed; and all the weight was written at that time.

Entonces los hijos del cautiverio que regresaron del exilio ofrecieron 12 becerros, 96 carneros, 76 corderos por todo Israel como holocaustos al ʼElohim de Israel. Como ofrenda por el pecado ofrecieron 12 machos cabríos, como holocausto a Yavé.

Los que habían venido de la cautividad, los hijos de la transmigración, ofrecieron holocaustos al Dios de Israel, doce becerros por todo Israel, noventa y seis carneros, setenta y siete corderos, doce machos cabríos por expiación: todo en holocausto á Jehová.

Also the children of those that had been carried away, which were come out of the captivity, offered burnt offerings unto the God of Israel, twelve bullocks for all Israel, ninety and six rams, seventy and seven lambs, twelve he goats for a sin offering: all this was a burnt offering unto the LORD.

The children of the captivity, who had come out of exile, offered burnt offerings to the God of Israel: twelve bulls for all Israel, ninety-six rams, seventy-seven lambs, and twelve male goats for a sin offering. All this was a burnt offering to the LORD.

Después entregaron los edictos del rey a los sátrapas del rey y a los gobernadores de Más Allá del Río, quienes favorecieron al pueblo y al Templo de ʼElohim.

Y dieron los despachos del rey á sus gobernadores y capitanes del otro lado del río, los cuales favorecieron al pueblo y á la casa de Dios.

And they delivered the king’s commissions unto the king’s lieutenants, and to the governors on this side the river: and they furthered the people, and the house of God.

They delivered the king’s commissions to the king’s local governors and to the governors beyond the River. So they supported the people and God’s house.
