Voici, d'après leur filiation, les chefs des familles qui, sous le règne du roi Artahchasta, partirent avec moi de Babylone:

Y ESTOS son los cabezas de sus familias, y genealogía de aquellos que subieron conmigo de Babilonia, reinando el rey Artajerjes:

Je les rassemblai près du fleuve qui se dirige vers Ahava, où nous campâmes trois jours. Je passai en revue le peuple et les prêtres et n'y trouvai point de Lévites.

Y juntélos junto al río que viene á Ahava, y reposamos allí tres días: y habiendo buscado entre el pueblo y entre los sacerdotes, no hallé allí de los hijos de Leví.

Then sent I for Eliezer, for Ariel, for Shemaiah, and for Elnathan, and for Jarib, and for Elnathan, and for Nathan, and for Zechariah, and for Meshullam, chief men; also for Joiarib, and for Elnathan, men of understanding.

et je leur fis des recommandations pour Iddo, chef dans la localité de Kassifia; je leur dictai les paroles qu'ils devaient dire à Iddo, à l'adresse de ses frères, les serviteurs †du temple fixés à Kassifia, afin qu'on nous amenât des fonctionnaires pour le temple de notre Dieu.

Y enviélos á Iddo, jefe en el lugar de Casipia, y puse en boca de ellos las palabras que habían de hablar á Iddo, y á sus hermanos los Nethineos en el lugar de Casipia, para que nos trajesen ministros para la casa de nuestro Dios.

And I sent them with commandment unto Iddo the chief at the place Casiphia, and I told them what they should say unto Iddo, and to his brethren the Nethinims, at the place Casiphia, that they should bring unto us ministers for the house of our God.

Ils nous amenèrent, grâce à la protection de Dieu étendue sur nous, un homme intelligent, choisi parmi les descendants de Mahli, fils de Lévi, fils d'Israël, ainsi que Chèrèbia, ses fils et ses frères, au nombre de dix-huit personnes;

Enfin, d'entre les serviteurs †du temple que David et les princes avaient affectés au service des Lévites, deux cent vingt individus, tous nominativement désignés.

Y de los Nethineos, á quienes David con los príncipes puso para el ministerio de los Levitas, doscientos y veinte Nethineos: todos los cuales fueron declarados por sus nombres.

Je proclamai là, près du fleuve d'Ahava, un jeûne à l'effet de nous mortifier devant notre Dieu et de lui demander un voyage heureux pour nous, pour nos familles et tous nos biens;

Y publiqué ayuno allí junto al río de Ahava, para afligirnos delante de nuestro Dios, para solicitar de él camino derecho para nosotros, y para nuestros niños, y para toda nuestra hacienda.

Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river of Ahava, that we might afflict ourselves before our God, to seek of him a right way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance.

car j'avais honte de solliciter du roi des troupes et des cavaliers pour nous secourir contre les ennemis pendant le trajet; nous avions dit, en effet, au roi: "La main de notre Dieu protège, pour leur bonheur, tous ceux qui le recherchent, tandis que sa force et sa colère pèsent sur ceux qui le délaissent."

Porque tuve vergüenza de pedir al rey tropa y gente de á caballo que nos defendiesen del enemigo en el camino: porque habíamos hablado al rey, diciendo: La mano de nuestro Dios es para bien sobre todos los que le buscan; mas su fortaleza y su furor sobre todos los que le dejan.

For I was ashamed to require of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy in the way: because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek him; but his power and his wrath is against all them that forsake him.

Nous jeunâmes donc et implorâmes de notre Dieu cette faveur, et il accueillit notre prière.

So we fasted and besought our God for this: and he was intreated of us.

et je leur versai l'argent, l'or et les ustensiles, offrandes pour le temple de notre Dieu, qu'avaient prélevées le roi, ses conseillers, ses seigneurs, et tous les Israélites existants.

Y peséles la plata, y el oro, y los vasos, la ofrenda que para la casa de nuestro Dios habían ofrecido el rey, y sus consultores, y sus príncipes, y todos los que se hallaron en Israel.

And weighed unto them the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, even the offering of the house of our God, which the king, and his counsellors, and his lords, and all Israel there present, had offered:

Je leur versai aussi six cent cinquante talents d'argent, en fait d'ustensiles en argent cent talents, cent talents d'or,

I even weighed unto their hand six hundred and fifty talents of silver, and silver vessels an hundred talents, and of gold an hundred talents;

vingt écuelles en or valant mille dariques et deux magnifiques vases de cuivre jaune, précieux comme l'or.

Además veinte tazones de oro, de mil dracmas; y dos vasos de metal limpio muy bueno, preciados como el oro.

Also twenty basons of gold, of a thousand drams; and two vessels of fine copper, precious as gold.

Je leur dis: "Vous êtes vous-mêmes consacrés à l'Eternel, et ces ustensiles sont consacrés; l'argent et l'or sont des dons volontaires offerts à l'Eternel, Dieu de vos pères.

Y díjeles: Vosotros sois consagrados á Jehová, y santos los vasos; y la plata y el oro ofrenda voluntaria á Jehová, Dios de nuestros padres.

And I said unto them, Ye are holy unto the LORD; the vessels are holy also; and the silver and the gold are a freewill offering unto the LORD God of your fathers.

I said to them, “You are holy to the LORD, and the vessels are holy. The silver and the gold are a free will offering to the LORD, the God of your fathers.

Conservez-les avec soin jusqu'au moment où vous les verserez, en présence des chefs des prêtres, des Lévites et des chefs de famille d'Israël, à Jérusalem, dans les salles du temple de l'Eternel.

Velad, y guardadlos, hasta que los peséis delante de los príncipes de los sacerdotes y Levitas, y de los jefes de los padres de Israel en Jerusalem, en las cámaras de la casa de Jehová.

Watch ye, and keep them, until ye weigh them before the chief of the priests and the Levites, and chief of the fathers of Israel, at Jerusalem, in the chambers of the house of the LORD.

Les prêtres et les Lévites prirent en charge cette quantité d'argent, d'or et d'ustensiles, pour les transporter à Jérusalem, dans le temple de notre Dieu.

Los sacerdotes pues y Levitas recibieron el peso de la plata y del oro y de los vasos, para traerlo á Jerusalem á la casa de nuestro Dios.

So took the priests and the Levites the weight of the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, to bring them to Jerusalem unto the house of our God.

Nous partîmes du fleuve d'Ahava le douzième jour du premier mois pour nous diriger vers Jérusalem; la protection de notre Dieu nous couvrit et nous préserva de la main des ennemis et des dresseurs d'embûches, au cours de notre voyage.

Al cuarto día fué luego pesada la plata, y el oro, y los vasos, en la casa de nuestro Dios, por mano de Meremoth hijo de Urías sacerdote, y con él Eleazar hijo de Phinees; y con ellos Jozabad hijo de Jesuá, y Noadías hijo de Binnui, Levitas;

Now on the fourth day was the silver and the gold and the vessels weighed in the house of our God by the hand of Meremoth the son of Uriah the priest; and with him was Eleazar the son of Phinehas; and with them was Jozabad the son of Jeshua, and Noadiah the son of Binnui, Levites;

Le tout fut compté et pesé, et à ce moment on en dressa un état exact.

Por cuenta y por peso todo: y se apuntó todo aquel peso en aquel tiempo.

Ceux qui étaient revenus de la captivité, les anciens exilés, offrirent comme holocaustes au Dieu d'Israël douze taureaux à l'intention de tout Israël, quatre-vingt-seize béliers, soixante-dix-sept brebis, et douze boucs comme sacrifice expiatoire: le tout présenté en holocauste à l'Eternel.

Los que habían venido de la cautividad, los hijos de la transmigración, ofrecieron holocaustos al Dios de Israel, doce becerros por todo Israel, noventa y seis carneros, setenta y siete corderos, doce machos cabríos por expiación: todo en holocausto á Jehová.

Also the children of those that had been carried away, which were come out of the captivity, offered burnt offerings unto the God of Israel, twelve bullocks for all Israel, ninety and six rams, seventy and seven lambs, twelve he goats for a sin offering: all this was a burnt offering unto the LORD.

The children of the captivity, who had come out of exile, offered burnt offerings to the God of Israel: twelve bulls for all Israel, ninety-six rams, seventy-seven lambs, and twelve male goats for a sin offering. All this was a burnt offering to the LORD.

Ils remirent aussi les instructions royales aux satrapes du roi et aux préfets de ce côté du fleuve; et ceux-ci prêtèrent leur concours au peuple et au temple de Dieu.

Y dieron los despachos del rey á sus gobernadores y capitanes del otro lado del río, los cuales favorecieron al pueblo y á la casa de Dios.

And they delivered the king’s commissions unto the king’s lieutenants, and to the governors on this side the river: and they furthered the people, and the house of God.

They delivered the king’s commissions to the king’s local governors and to the governors beyond the River. So they supported the people and God’s house.
