1Paulus, Apostel, nicht von Menschen, noch durch einen Menschen, sondern durch Jesum Christum und Gott, den Vater, der ihn auferweckt hat aus den Toten,
2und alle Brüder, die bei mir sind, den Versammlungen von Galatien:
3Gnade euch und Friede von Gott, dem Vater, und unserem Herrn Jesus Christus,
4der sich selbst für unsere Sünden hingegeben hat, damit er uns herausnehme aus der gegenwärtigen bösen Welt, nach dem Willen unseres Gottes und Vaters,
5welchem die Herrlichkeit sei von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit! Amen.
6Ich wundere mich, daß ihr so schnell von dem, der euch in der Gnade Christi berufen hat, zu einem anderen Evangelium umwendet,
7welches kein anderes ist; nur daß etliche sind, die euch verwirren und das Evangelium des Christus verkehren wollen.
8Aber wenn auch wir oder ein Engel aus dem Himmel euch etwas als Evangelium verkündigte außer dem, was wir euch als Evangelium verkündigt haben: er sei verflucht!
9Wie wir zuvor gesagt haben, so sage ich auch jetzt wiederum: Wenn jemand euch etwas als Evangelium verkündigt außer dem, was ihr empfangen habt: er sei verflucht!
10Denn suche ich jetzt Menschen zufrieden zu stellen, oder Gott? Oder suche ich Menschen zu gefallen? Wenn ich noch Menschen gefiele, so wäre ich Christi Knecht nicht.
11Ich tue euch aber kund, Brüder, daß das Evangelium, welches von mir verkündigt worden, nicht nach dem Menschen ist.
12Denn ich habe es weder von einem Menschen empfangen, noch erlernt, sondern durch Offenbarung Jesu Christi.
13Denn ihr habt von meinem ehemaligen Wandel in dem Judentum gehört, daß ich die Versammlung Gottes über die Maßen verfolgte und sie zerstörte,
14und in dem Judentum zunahm über viele Altersgenossen in meinem Geschlecht, indem ich übermäßig ein Eiferer für meine väterlichen Überlieferungen war.
15Als es aber Gott, der mich von meiner Mutter Leibe an abgesondert und durch seine Gnade berufen hat, wohlgefiel,
16seinen Sohn in mir zu offenbaren, auf daß ich ihn unter den Nationen verkündigte, ging ich alsbald nicht mit Fleisch und Blut zu Rate
17und ging auch nicht hinauf nach Jerusalem zu denen, die vor mir Apostel waren, sondern ich ging fort nach Arabien und kehrte wiederum nach Damaskus zurück.
18Darauf, nach drei Jahren, ging ich nach Jerusalem hinauf, um Kephas kennen zu lernen, und blieb fünfzehn Tage bei ihm.
19Ich sah aber keinen anderen der Apostel, außer Jakobus, den Bruder des Herrn.
20Was ich euch aber schreibe, siehe, vor Gott! Ich lüge nicht.
21Darauf kam ich in die Gegenden von Syrien und Cilicien.
22Ich war aber den Versammlungen von Judäa, die in Christo sind, von Angesicht unbekannt;
23sie hatten aber nur gehört: Der, welcher uns einst verfolgte, verkündigt jetzt den Glauben, den er einst zerstörte.
24Und sie verherrlichten Gott an mir.

1PABLO, apóstol, (no de los hombres, ni por hombre, mas por Jesucristo y por Dios el Padre, que lo resucitó de los muertos),
2Y todos los hermanos que están conmigo, á las iglesias de Galacia:
3Gracia sea á vosotros, y paz de Dios el Padre, y de nuestro Señor Jesucristo,
4El cual se dió á sí mismo por nuestros pecados para librarnos de este presente siglo malo, conforme á la voluntad de Dios y Padre nuestro;
5Al cual sea la gloria por siglos de siglos. Amén.
6Estoy maravillado de que tan pronto os hayáis traspasado del que os llamó á la gracia de Cristo, á otro evangelio:
7No que hay otro, sino que hay algunos que os inquietan, y quieren pervertir el evangelio de Cristo.
8Mas aun si nosotros ó un ángel del cielo os anunciare otro evangelio del que os hemos anunciado, sea anatema.
9Como antes hemos dicho, también ahora decimos otra vez: Si alguno os anunciare otro evangelio del que habéis recibido, sea anatema.
10Porque, ¿persuado yo ahora á hombres ó á Dios? ¿ó busco de agradar á hombres? Cierto, que si todavía agradara á los hombres, no sería siervo de Cristo.
11Mas os hago saber, hermanos, que el evangelio que ha sido anunciado por mí, no es según hombre;
12Pues ni yo lo recibí, ni lo aprendí de hombre, sino por revelación de Jesucristo.
13Porque ya habéis oído acerca de mi conducta otro tiempo en el Judaismo, que perseguía sobremanera la iglesia de Dios, y la destruía;
14Y aprovechaba en el Judaismo sobre muchos de mis iguales en mi nación, siendo muy más celador que todos de las tradiciones de mis padres.
15Mas cuando plugo á Dios, que me apartó desde el vientre de mi madre, y me llamó por su gracia,
16Revelar á su Hijo en mí, para que le predicase entre los Gentiles, luego no conferí con carne y sangre;
17Ni fuí á Jerusalem á los que eran apóstoles antes que yo; sino que me fuí á la Arabia, y volví de nuevo á Damasco.
18Después, pasados tres años, fuí á Jerusalem á ver á Pedro, y estuve con él quince días.
19Mas á ningún otro de los apóstoles vi, sino á Jacobo el hermano del Señor.
20Y en esto que os escribo, he aquí, delante de Dios, no miento.
21Después fuí á las partes de Siria y de Cilicia;
22Y no era conocido de vista á las iglesias de Judea, que eran en Cristo;
23Solamente habían oído decir: Aquel que en otro tiempo nos perseguía, ahora anuncia la fe que en otro tiempo destruía.
24Y glorificaban á Dios en mí.

1Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)
2And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia:
3Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,
4Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
5To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
6I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
10For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
11But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
12For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
13For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews’ religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:
14And profited in the Jews’ religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.
15But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace,
16To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
17Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.
18Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.
19But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord’s brother.
20Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not.
21Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia;
22And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ:
23But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed.
24And they glorified God in me.

1Paul, an apostle—not from men, nor through man, but through Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead—

4who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us out of this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father—

6I marvel that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ to a different “good news”,
7but there isn’t another “good news.” Only there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the Good News of Christ.
8But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you any “good news” other than that which we preached to you, let him be cursed.
9As we have said before, so I now say again: if any man preaches to you any “good news” other than that which you received, let him be cursed.
10For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn’t be a servant of Christ.
11But I make known to you, brothers, concerning the Good News which was preached by me, that it is not according to man.
12For I didn’t receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came to me through revelation of Jesus Christ.
13For you have heard of my way of living in time past in the Jews’ religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the assembly of God and ravaged it.
14I advanced in the Jews’ religion beyond many of my own age among my countrymen, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers.
15But when it was the good pleasure of God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through his grace,
16to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I didn’t immediately confer with flesh and blood,
17nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me, but I went away into Arabia. Then I returned to Damascus.
18Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Peter, and stayed with him fifteen days.
19But of the other apostles I saw no one except James, the Lord’s brother.
20Now about the things which I write to you, behold, before God, I’m not lying.
21Then I came to the regions of Syria and Cilicia.
22I was still unknown by face to the assemblies of Judea which were in Christ,
23but they only heard, “He who once persecuted us now preaches the faith that he once tried to destroy.”
24So they glorified God in me.
