Gálatas 1

Pablo, apóstol (no enviado de los hombres ni por los hombres, sino por Jesucristo mismo y Dios el Padre que lo resucitó de los muertos)

PABLO, apóstol, (no de los hombres, ni por hombre, mas por Jesucristo y por Dios el Padre, que lo resucitó de los muertos),

Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)

Paul, an apostle—not from men, nor through man, but through Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead—

y los demás hermanos que están conmigo, a las iglesias de Galacia.

Y todos los hermanos que están conmigo, á las iglesias de Galacia:

And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia:

and all the brothers who are with me, to the assemblies of Galatia:

Que en ustedes reposen la paz y el amor de Dios nuestro Padre y del Señor Jesucristo.

Gracia sea á vosotros, y paz de Dios el Padre, y de nuestro Señor Jesucristo,

Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,

Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ,

Él murió por nuestros pecados conforme a los planes de nuestro Dios y Padre, para rescatarnos de este mundo perverso.

El cual se dió á sí mismo por nuestros pecados para librarnos de este presente siglo malo, conforme á la voluntad de Dios y Padre nuestro;

Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us out of this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father—

A él sea la gloria por los siglos eternos. Amén.

Al cual sea la gloria por siglos de siglos. Amén.

To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Me ha sorprendido que tan pronto se estén apartando ustedes de Dios, quien les llamó y mostró su amor por medio de Cristo. Ahora han adoptado otro evangelio.

Estoy maravillado de que tan pronto os hayáis traspasado del que os llamó á la gracia de Cristo, á otro evangelio:

I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

I marvel that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ to a different “good news”,

Esto no significa que haya otro evangelio. Más bien me refiero a que hay quienes están tratando de confundirlos y quieren torcer el evangelio de Cristo.

No que hay otro, sino que hay algunos que os inquietan, y quieren pervertir el evangelio de Cristo.

Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

but there isn’t another “good news.” Only there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the Good News of Christ.

Que la maldición de Dios caiga sobre cualquiera, sea uno de nosotros o un ángel del cielo, que les predique otro medio de salvación que el que les hemos predicado.

Mas aun si nosotros ó un ángel del cielo os anunciare otro evangelio del que os hemos anunciado, sea anatema.

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you any “good news” other than that which we preached to you, let him be cursed.

Repito: Si alguien les predica un evangelio diferente del que un día recibieron, que la maldición de Dios caiga sobre esa persona.

Como antes hemos dicho, también ahora decimos otra vez: Si alguno os anunciare otro evangelio del que habéis recibido, sea anatema.

As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

As we have said before, so I now say again: if any man preaches to you any “good news” other than that which you received, let him be cursed.

Como han visto, no estoy tratando de ganármelos ni de quedar bien con ustedes. Al único que trato de agradar es a Dios. Si todavía buscara agradar a los hombres, no sería siervo de Cristo.

Porque, ¿persuado yo ahora á hombres ó á Dios? ¿ó busco de agradar á hombres? Cierto, que si todavía agradara á los hombres, no sería siervo de Cristo.

For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn’t be a servant of Christ.

Hermanos, quiero que sepan que el evangelio que yo predico no es una invención humana.

Mas os hago saber, hermanos, que el evangelio que ha sido anunciado por mí, no es según hombre;

But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.

But I make known to you, brothers, concerning the Good News which was preached by me, that it is not according to man.

No lo recibí ni aprendí de ninguna persona, sino que fue Jesucristo mismo quien me lo enseñó.

Pues ni yo lo recibí, ni lo aprendí de hombre, sino por revelación de Jesucristo.

For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

For I didn’t receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came to me through revelation of Jesus Christ.

Ya estarán enterados de mi conducta cuando era de la religión judía. Saben que implacablemente perseguí a la iglesia de Dios y que me esforcé por erradicarla de la tierra.

Porque ya habéis oído acerca de mi conducta otro tiempo en el Judaismo, que perseguía sobremanera la iglesia de Dios, y la destruía;

For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews’ religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:

For you have heard of my way of living in time past in the Jews’ religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the assembly of God and ravaged it.

Yo era el más ferviente de mis contemporáneos de mi misma edad, y trataba por todos los medios de cumplir con las reglas tradicionales de mis antepasados.

Y aprovechaba en el Judaismo sobre muchos de mis iguales en mi nación, siendo muy más celador que todos de las tradiciones de mis padres.

And profited in the Jews’ religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.

I advanced in the Jews’ religion beyond many of my own age among my countrymen, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers.

Sin embargo, Dios me había escogido desde antes que yo naciera, y me llamó por su gracia. Y cuando él quiso

Mas cuando plugo á Dios, que me apartó desde el vientre de mi madre, y me llamó por su gracia,

But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace,

But when it was the good pleasure of God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through his grace,

revelarme a su Hijo, para que fuera a predicarlo entre los gentiles, no fui inmediatamente a consultar con nadie,

Revelar á su Hijo en mí, para que le predicase entre los Gentiles, luego no conferí con carne y sangre;

To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:

to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I didn’t immediately confer with flesh and blood,

ni corrí a Jerusalén a consultar a los que eran apóstoles antes que yo. Al contrario, fui de inmediato a la región de Arabia y después regresé a la ciudad de Damasco.

Ni fuí á Jerusalem á los que eran apóstoles antes que yo; sino que me fuí á la Arabia, y volví de nuevo á Damasco.

Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.

nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me, but I went away into Arabia. Then I returned to Damascus.

Tres años más tarde fui a Jerusalén a hablar con Pedro y estuve con él quince días.

Después, pasados tres años, fuí á Jerusalem á ver á Pedro, y estuve con él quince días.

Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.

Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Peter, and stayed with him fifteen days.

Aparte de él, al único apóstol que vi fue a Jacobo, el hermano de nuestro Señor.

Mas á ningún otro de los apóstoles vi, sino á Jacobo el hermano del Señor.

But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord’s brother.

But of the other apostles I saw no one except James, the Lord’s brother.

Delante de Dios les aseguro que esto fue lo que sucedió; no miento.

Y en esto que os escribo, he aquí, delante de Dios, no miento.

Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not.

Now about the things which I write to you, behold, before God, I’m not lying.

Después fui a las regiones de Siria y Cilicia.

Después fuí á las partes de Siria y de Cilicia;

Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia;

Then I came to the regions of Syria and Cilicia.

Pero las iglesias de Judea todavía no me conocían personalmente.

Y no era conocido de vista á las iglesias de Judea, que eran en Cristo;

And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ:

I was still unknown by face to the assemblies of Judea which were in Christ,

Sólo sabían lo que se andaba diciendo: que el antiguo enemigo de los cristianos estaba pregonando la fe que había tratado de destruir.

Solamente habían oído decir: Aquel que en otro tiempo nos perseguía, ahora anuncia la fe que en otro tiempo destruía.

But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed.

but they only heard, “He who once persecuted us now preaches the faith that he once tried to destroy.”

Y glorificaban a Dios a causa de mí.

Y glorificaban á Dios en mí.

And they glorified God in me.

So they glorified God in me.
