Gálatas 1

Pablo, apóstol (no de hombres ni por hombre, sino por Jesús, el Cristo y por Dios el Padre que lo resucitó de los muertos),

PABLO, apóstol, (no de los hombres, ni por hombre, mas por Jesucristo y por Dios el Padre, que lo resucitó de los muertos),

Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)

Paul, an apostle—not from men, nor through man, but through Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead—

y todos los hermanos que están conmigo, a las iglesias de Galacia:

Gracia y paz sean a ustedes, de Dios el Padre y de nuestro Señor Jesús, el Cristo,

Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,

Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ,

el cual se dio a sí mismo por nuestros pecados para librarnos del presente siglo malo, conforme a la voluntad de nuestro Dios y Padre,

Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

a quien sea la gloria por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.

Estoy maravillado de que tan pronto se hayan alejado del que les llamó por la gracia de Cristo, para seguir un evangelio diferente.

Estoy maravillado de que tan pronto os hayáis traspasado del que os llamó á la gracia de Cristo, á otro evangelio:

I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

I marvel that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ to a different “good news”,

No que haya otro, sino que hay algunos que les perturban †agitan, inquietan y quieren pervertir el evangelio de Cristo.

No que hay otro, sino que hay algunos que os inquietan, y quieren pervertir el evangelio de Cristo.

Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

but there isn’t another “good news.” Only there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the Good News of Christ.

Mas si aun nosotros, o un ángel del cielo, les anunciare otro evangelio diferente del que les hemos anunciado, sea anatema.

Mas aun si nosotros ó un ángel del cielo os anunciare otro evangelio del que os hemos anunciado, sea anatema.

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you any “good news” other than that which we preached to you, let him be cursed.

Como antes hemos dicho, también ahora lo repito: Si alguno les predica diferente evangelio del que han recibido, sea anatema.

Como antes hemos dicho, también ahora decimos otra vez: Si alguno os anunciare otro evangelio del que habéis recibido, sea anatema.

As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

As we have said before, so I now say again: if any man preaches to you any “good news” other than that which you received, let him be cursed.

Por lo tanto, ¿busco ahora el favor de los hombres, o el de Dios? ¿O trato de agradar a los hombres? Pues si todavía agradara a los hombres, no sería esclavo de Cristo.

Porque, ¿persuado yo ahora á hombres ó á Dios? ¿ó busco de agradar á hombres? Cierto, que si todavía agradara á los hombres, no sería siervo de Cristo.

For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn’t be a servant of Christ.

Mas les hago saber, hermanos, que el evangelio anunciado por mí, no es según hombre;

Mas os hago saber, hermanos, que el evangelio que ha sido anunciado por mí, no es según hombre;

But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.

But I make known to you, brothers, concerning the Good News which was preached by me, that it is not according to man.

puesto que yo ni lo recibí ni lo aprendí de hombre alguno, sino por revelación de Jesús, el Cristo.

Pues ni yo lo recibí, ni lo aprendí de hombre, sino por revelación de Jesucristo.

For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

For I didn’t receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came to me through revelation of Jesus Christ.

Porque ya han escuchado acerca de mi conducta en otro tiempo en el judaísmo, que perseguía sobremanera a la iglesia de Dios, y la asolaba;

Porque ya habéis oído acerca de mi conducta otro tiempo en el Judaismo, que perseguía sobremanera la iglesia de Dios, y la destruía;

For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews’ religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:

For you have heard of my way of living in time past in the Jews’ religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the assembly of God and ravaged it.

y en el judaísmo aventajaba a muchos de mis contemporáneos en mi nación, siendo mucho más celoso de las tradiciones †doctrinas rudimentarias, instrucciones de mis padres.

Y aprovechaba en el Judaismo sobre muchos de mis iguales en mi nación, siendo muy más celador que todos de las tradiciones de mis padres.

And profited in the Jews’ religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.

I advanced in the Jews’ religion beyond many of my own age among my countrymen, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers.

Pero cuando agradó a Dios, que me apartó desde el vientre de mi madre, y me llamó por su gracia,

Mas cuando plugo á Dios, que me apartó desde el vientre de mi madre, y me llamó por su gracia,

But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace,

But when it was the good pleasure of God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through his grace,

revelar a su Hijo en mí, para que yo le predicase entre los gentiles, no consulté en seguida con carne y sangre,

Revelar á su Hijo en mí, para que le predicase entre los Gentiles, luego no conferí con carne y sangre;

To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:

to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I didn’t immediately confer with flesh and blood,

ni subí a Jerusalén a los que eran apóstoles antes que yo; sino que fui a Arabia, y volví de nuevo a Damasco.

Ni fuí á Jerusalem á los que eran apóstoles antes que yo; sino que me fuí á la Arabia, y volví de nuevo á Damasco.

Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.

nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me, but I went away into Arabia. Then I returned to Damascus.

Después, pasados tres años, subí a Jerusalén para ver a Pedro, y permanecí con él quince días;

Después, pasados tres años, fuí á Jerusalem á ver á Pedro, y estuve con él quince días.

Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.

Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Peter, and stayed with him fifteen days.

pero no vi a ningún otro de los apóstoles, sino a Jacobo el hermano del Señor.

Mas á ningún otro de los apóstoles vi, sino á Jacobo el hermano del Señor.

But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord’s brother.

But of the other apostles I saw no one except James, the Lord’s brother.

En esto que les escribo, he aquí delante de Dios que no miento.

Y en esto que os escribo, he aquí, delante de Dios, no miento.

Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not.

Now about the things which I write to you, behold, before God, I’m not lying.

Después fui a las regiones de Siria y de Cilicia,

Después fuí á las partes de Siria y de Cilicia;

Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia;

Then I came to the regions of Syria and Cilicia.

y no era conocido de vista a las iglesias de Judea, que eran en Cristo;

Y no era conocido de vista á las iglesias de Judea, que eran en Cristo;

And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ:

I was still unknown by face to the assemblies of Judea which were in Christ,

solamente oían decir : Aquel que en otro tiempo nos perseguía, ahora predica la fe que en otro tiempo asolaba.

Solamente habían oído decir: Aquel que en otro tiempo nos perseguía, ahora anuncia la fe que en otro tiempo destruía.

But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed.

but they only heard, “He who once persecuted us now preaches the faith that he once tried to destroy.”

Y glorificaban a Dios en mí.

Y glorificaban á Dios en mí.

And they glorified God in me.

So they glorified God in me.
