Ich zog aber hinauf zufolge einer Offenbarung und legte ihnen das Evangelium vor, das ich unter den Nationen predige, im besonderen aber den Angesehenen, damit ich nicht etwa vergeblich laufe oder gelaufen wäre;

Empero de aquellos que parecían ser algo (cuáles hayan sido algún tiempo, no tengo que ver; Dios no acepta apariencia de hombre), á mí ciertamente los que parecían ser algo, nada me dieron.
But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man’s person:) for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added nothing to me:
But from those who were reputed to be important—whatever they were, it makes no difference to me; God doesn’t show partiality to man—they, I say, who were respected imparted nothing to me,

Antes por el contrario, como vieron que el evangelio de la incircuncisión me era encargado, como á Pedro el de la circuncisión,
But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;
but to the contrary, when they saw that I had been entrusted with the Good News for the uncircumcised, even as Peter with the Good News for the circumcised—

und als sie die Gnade erkannten, die mir gegeben ist, gaben Jakobus und Kephas und Johannes, die als Säulen angesehen wurden, mir und Barnabas die Rechte der Gemeinschaft, auf daß wir unter die Nationen, sie aber unter die Beschneidung gingen;
Y como vieron la gracia que me era dada, Jacobo y Cefas y Juan, que parecían ser las columnas, nos dieron las diestras de compañía á mí y á Bernabé, para que nosotros fuésemos á los Gentiles, y ellos á la circuncisión.
And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.
and when they perceived the grace that was given to me, James and Cephas and John, those who were reputed to be pillars, gave to Barnabas and me the right hand of fellowship, that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcision.
nur daß wir der Armen eingedenk wären, dessen ich mich auch befleißigt habe, also zu tun.

Als aber Kephas nach Antiochien kam, widerstand ich ihm ins Angesicht, weil er dem Urteil verfallen war.

But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.

Denn bevor etliche von Jakobus kamen, hatte er mit denen aus den Nationen gegessen; als sie aber kamen, zog er sich zurück und sonderte sich ab, da er sich vor denen aus der Beschneidung fürchtete.
Porque antes que viniesen unos de parte de Jacobo, comía con los Gentiles; mas después que vinieron, se retraía y apartaba, teniendo miedo de los que eran de la circuncisión.
For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.
For before some people came from James, he ate with the Gentiles. But when they came, he drew back and separated himself, fearing those who were of the circumcision.
Und mit ihm heuchelten auch die übrigen Juden, so daß selbst Barnabas durch ihre Heuchelei mitfortgerissen wurde.
Y á su disimulación consentían también los otros Judíos; de tal manera que aun Bernabé fué también llevado de ellos en su simulación.
And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.
And the rest of the Jews joined him in his hypocrisy, so that even Barnabas was carried away with their hypocrisy.
Als ich aber sah, daß sie nicht den geraden Weg nach der Wahrheit des Evangeliums wandelten, sprach ich zu Kephas vor allen: Wenn du, der du ein Jude bist, wie die Nationen lebst und nicht wie die Juden, wie zwingst du denn die Nationen, jüdisch zu leben?
Mas cuando vi que no andaban derechamente conforme á la verdad del evangelio, dije á Pedro delante de todos: Si tú, siendo Judío, vives como los Gentiles y no como Judío, ¿por qué constriñes á los Gentiles á judaizar?
But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?
But when I saw that they didn’t walk uprightly according to the truth of the Good News, I said to Peter before them all, “If you, being a Jew, live as the Gentiles do, and not as the Jews do, why do you compel the Gentiles to live as the Jews do?
Wir, von Natur Juden und nicht Sünder aus den Nationen, aber wissend,
Nosotros Judíos naturales, y no pecadores de los Gentiles,
We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,
“We, being Jews by nature and not Gentile sinners,
daß der Mensch nicht aus Gesetzeswerken gerechtfertigt wird, sondern nur durch den Glauben an Jesum Christum, auch wir haben an Christum Jesum geglaubt, auf daß wir aus Glauben an Christum gerechtfertigt würden, und nicht aus Gesetzeswerken, weil aus Gesetzeswerken kein Fleisch gerechtfertigt werden wird.
Sabiendo que el hombre no es justificado por las obras de la ley, sino por la fe de Jesucristo, nosotros también hemos creído en Jesucristo, para que fuésemos justificados por la fe de Cristo, y no por las obras de la ley; por cuanto por las obras de la ley ninguna carne será justificada.
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.
Wenn wir aber, indem wir in Christo gerechtfertigt zu werden suchen, auch selbst als Sünder erfunden worden sind, ist denn Christus ein Diener der Sünde? Das sei ferne!
Y si buscando nosotros ser justificados en Cristo, también nosotros somos hallados pecadores, ¿es por eso Cristo ministro de pecado? En ninguna manera.
But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.
But if while we sought to be justified in Christ, we ourselves also were found sinners, is Christ a servant of sin? Certainly not!
Denn wenn ich das, was ich abgebrochen habe, wiederum aufbaue, so stelle ich mich selbst als Übertreter dar.
Porque si las cosas que destruí, las mismas vuelvo á edificar, transgresor me hago.
For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.
For if I build up again those things which I destroyed, I prove myself a law-breaker.
Denn ich bin durchs Gesetz dem Gesetz gestorben, auf daß ich Gott lebe;

For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me.
Ich mache die Gnade Gottes nicht ungültig; denn wenn Gerechtigkeit durch Gesetz kommt, dann ist Christus umsonst gestorben.
No desecho la gracia de Dios: porque si por la ley fuese la justicia, entonces por demás murió Cristo.
I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
I don’t reject the grace of God. For if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died for nothing!”
