Denn so das Erbe durch das Gesetz erworben würde, so wurde es nicht durch Verheiftung gegeben. Gott aber hat es Abraham durch Verheiftung frei geschenkt.

Porque si la herencia es por la ley, ya no es por la promesa: empero Dios por la promesa hizo la donación á Abraham.

For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.
