21Wie? Ist denn das Gesetz wider Gottes Verheißungen? Das sei ferne! Wenn aber ein Gesetz gegeben wäre, das da könnte lebendig machen, so käme die Gerechtigkeit wahrhaftig aus dem Gesetz.

21Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.
