Gálatas 4

Ich sage aber, solange der Erbe ein Kind ist, so ist unter ihm und einem Knechte kein Unterschied, ob er wohl ein Herr ist aller Guter,

TAMBIÉN digo: Entre tanto que el heredero es niño, en nada difiere del siervo, aunque es señor de todo;

Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;

But I say that so long as the heir is a child, he is no different from a bondservant, though he is lord of all,

sondern er ist unter den Vormundern und Pflegern bis auf die bestimmte Zeit vom Vater.

Mas está debajo de tutores y curadores hasta el tiempo señalado por el padre.

But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.

but is under guardians and stewards until the day appointed by the father.

Also auch wir, da wir Kinder waren, waren wir gefangen unter den aufierlichen Satzungen.

Así también nosotros, cuando éramos niños, éramos siervos bajo los rudimentos del mundo.

Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:

So we also, when we were children, were held in bondage under the elemental principles of the world.

Da aber die Zeit erfullet ward, sandte Gott seinen Sohn, geboren von einem Weibe und unter das Gesetz getan,

Mas venido el cumplimiento del tiempo, Dios envió su Hijo, hecho de mujer, hecho súbdito á la ley,

But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

But when the fullness of the time came, God sent out his Son, born to a woman, born under the law,

auf daß er die, so unter dem Gesetz waren, erlosete, daü wir die Kindschaft empfingen.

Para que redimiese á los que estaban debajo de la ley, á fin de que recibiésemos la adopción de hijos.

To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

that he might redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as children.

Weil ihr denn Kinder seid, hat Gott gesandt den Geist seines Sohnes in eure Herzen, der schreiet: Abba, lieber Vater!

Y por cuanto sois hijos, Dios envió el Espíritu de su Hijo en vuestros corazones, el cual clama: Abba, Padre.

And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

And because you are children, God sent out the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, “Abba, Father!”

Also ist nun hier kein Knecht mehr, sondern eitel Kinder. Sind's aber Kinder, so sind’s auch Erben Gottes durch Christum.

Así que ya no eres más siervo, sino hijo; y si hijo, también heredero de Dios por Cristo.

Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

So you are no longer a bondservant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Aber zu der Zeit, da ihr Gott nicht erkanntet, dientet ihr denen, die von Natur nicht Gotter sind.

Antes, en otro tiempo, no conociendo á Dios, servíais á los que por naturaleza no son dioses:

Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods.

However at that time, not knowing God, you were in bondage to those who by nature are not gods.

Nun ihr aber Gott erkannt habt, ja vielmehr von Gott erkannt seid, wie wendet ihr euch denn urn wieder zu den schwachen und durftigen Satzungen, welchen ihr von neuem an dienen wollt?

Mas ahora, habiendo conocido á Dios, ó más bien, siendo conocidos de Dios, ¿cómo os volvéis de nuevo á los flacos y pobres rudimentos, en los cuales queréis volver á servir?

But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?

But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, why do you turn back again to the weak and miserable elemental principles, to which you desire to be in bondage all over again?

Ihr haltet Tage und Monden und Feste und Jahrzeiten.

Guardáis los días, y los meses, y los tiempos, y los años.

Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.

You observe days, months, seasons, and years.

Ich furchte fur euch, daß ich nicht vielleicht umsonst habe an euch gearbeitet.

Temo de vosotros, que no haya trabajado en vano en vosotros.

I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.

I am afraid for you, that I might have wasted my labor for you.

Seid doch wie ich, denn ich bin wie ihr. Liebe Bruder, ich bitte euch, ihr habt mir kein Leid getan.

Hermanos, os ruego, sed como yo, porque yo soy como vosotros: ningún agravio me habéis hecho.

Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are: ye have not injured me at all.

I beg you, brothers, become as I am, for I also have become as you are. You did me no wrong,

Denn ihrwisset, daß ich euch in Schwachheit nach dem Fleisch das Evangelium geprediget habe zum erstenmal.

Que vosotros sabéis que por flaqueza de carne os anuncié el evangelio al principio:

Ye know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first.

but you know that because of weakness in the flesh I preached the Good News to you the first time.

Und meine Anfechtungen, die ich leide nach dem Fleisch, habt ihr nicht verachtet noch verschmahet, sondern als einen Engel Gottes nahmet ihr mich auf, ja als Christum Jesum.

Y no desechasteis ni menospreciasteis mi tentación que estaba en mi carne: antes me recibisteis como á un ángel de Dios, como á Cristo Jesús.

And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.

That which was a temptation to you in my flesh, you didn’t despise nor reject; but you received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.

Wie waret ihr dazumal so selig! Ich bin euer Zeuge, daß, wenn es moglich gewesen ware, ihr hattet eure Augen ausgerissen und mirgegeben.

¿Dónde está pues vuestra bienaventuranza? porque yo os doy testimonio que si se pudiera hacer, os hubierais sacado vuestros ojos para dármelos.

Where is then the blessedness ye spake of? for I bear you record, that, if it had been possible, ye would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.

What was the blessing you enjoyed? For I testify to you that, if possible, you would have plucked out your eyes and given them to me.

Bin ich denn also euer Feind worden, daß ich euch die Wahrheit vorhalte?

¿Heme pues hecho vuestro enemigo, diciéndoos la verdad?

Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

So then, have I become your enemy by telling you the truth?

Sie eifern urn euch nicht fein, sondern sie wollen euch von mir abfallig machen, daß ihr urn sie sollt eifern.

Tienen celos de vosotros, pero no bien: antes os quieren echar fuera para que vosotros los celéis á ellos.

They zealously affect you, but not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect them.

They zealously seek you in no good way. No, they desire to alienate you, that you may seek them.

Eifern ist gut, wenn's immerdar geschiehet urn das Gute und nicht allein, wenn ich gegenwartig bei euch bin.

Bueno es ser celosos en bien siempre; y no solamente cuando estoy presente con vosotros.

But it is good to be zealously affected always in a good thing, and not only when I am present with you.

But it is always good to be zealous in a good cause, and not only when I am present with you.

Meine lieben Kinder, welche ich abermal mit Angsten gebare, bis daß Christus in euch eine Gestalt gewinne.

Hijitos míos, que vuelvo otra vez á estar de parto de vosotros, hasta que Cristo sea formado en vosotros;

My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

My little children, of whom I am again in travail until Christ is formed in you—

Ich wollte aber, daß ich jetzt bei euch ware, und meine Stimme wandeln konnte, denn ich bin irre an euch.

Querría cierto estar ahora con vosotros, y mudar mi voz; porque estoy perplejo en cuanto á vosotros.

I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you.

but I could wish to be present with you now, and to change my tone, for I am perplexed about you.

Saget mir, die ihr unter dem Gesetz sein wolit: Habt ihr das Gesetz nicht gehoret?

Decidme, los que queréis estar debajo de la ley, ¿no habéis oído la ley?

Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?

Tell me, you that desire to be under the law, don’t you listen to the law?

Denn es stehet geschrieben, daß Abraham zween Sohne hatte, einen von der Magd, den andern von der Freien.

Porque escrito está que Abraham tuvo dos hijos; uno de la sierva, el otro de la libre.

For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.

For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the servant, and one by the free woman.

Aber der von der Magd war, ist nach dem Fleisch geboren; der aber von der Freien, ist durch die Verheiftung geboren.

Mas el de la sierva nació según la carne; pero el de la libre nació por la promesa.

But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.

However, the son by the servant was born according to the flesh, but the son by the free woman was born through promise.

Die Worte bedeuten etwas. Denn das sind die zwei Testamente, eines von dem Berge Sinai, das zur Knechtschaft gebieret, welches ist die Hagar.

Las cuales cosas son dichas por alegoría: porque estas mujeres son los dos pactos; el uno ciertamente del monte Sinaí, el cual engendró para servidumbre, que es Agar.

Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.

These things contain an allegory, for these are two covenants. One is from Mount Sinai, bearing children to bondage, which is Hagar.

Denn Hagar heiftet in Arabien der Berg Sinai und langet bis gen Jerusalem, das zu dieser Zeit ist, und ist dienstbar mit seinen Kindern.

Porque Agar ó Sinaí es un monte de Arabia, el cual es conjunto á la que ahora es Jerusalem, la cual sirve con sus hijos.

For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.

For this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and answers to the Jerusalem that exists now, for she is in bondage with her children.

Aber das Jerusalem, das droben ist, das ist die Freie, die ist unser aller Mutter.

Mas la Jerusalem de arriba libre es; la cual es la madre de todos nosotros.

But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

But the Jerusalem that is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

Denn es stehet geschrieben: Sei frohlich, du Unfruchtbare, die du nicht gebierest, und brich hervor und rufe, die du nicht schwanger bist! Denn die Einsame hat viel mehr Kinder, denn die den Mann hat.

Porque está escrito: Alégrate, estéril, que no pares: prorrumpe y clama, la que no estás de parto; porque más son los hijos de la dejada, que de la que tiene marido.

For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.

For it is written, “Rejoice, you barren who don’t bear. Break out and shout, you who don’t travail. For the desolate women have more children than her who has a husband.”

Wir aber, liebe Bruder, sind Isaak nach der Verheiftung Kinder.

Así que, hermanos, nosotros como Isaac somos hijos de la promesa.

Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.

Now we, brothers, as Isaac was, are children of promise.

Aber gleichwie zu der Zeit, der nach dem Fleisch geboren war, verfolgete den, der nach dem Geist geboren war, also gehet es jetzt auch.

Empero como entonces el que era engendrado según la carne, perseguía al que había nacido según el Espíritu, así también ahora.

But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.

But as then, he who was born according to the flesh persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, so also it is now.

Aber was spricht die Schrift? Stoft die Magd hinaus mit ihrem Sohn! Denn der Magd Sohn soli nicht erben mit dem Sohn der Freien.

Mas ¿qué dice la Escritura? Echa fuera á la sierva y á su hijo; porque no será heredero el hijo de la sierva con el hijo de la libre.

Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.

However, what does the Scripture say? “Throw out the servant and her son, for the son of the servant will not inherit with the son of the free woman.”

So sind wir nun, liebe Bruder, nicht der Magd Kinder, sondern der Freien.

De manera, hermanos, que no somos hijos de la sierva, mas de la libre.

So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

So then, brothers, we are not children of a servant, but of the free woman.
