Gálatas 4

Ich sage aber: Solange der Erbe noch unmündig ist, besteht zwischen ihm und einem Knecht kein Unterschied, wenn er auch der Herr von allem ist;

TAMBIÉN digo: Entre tanto que el heredero es niño, en nada difiere del siervo, aunque es señor de todo;

Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;

But I say that so long as the heir is a child, he is no different from a bondservant, though he is lord of all,

er steht vielmehr unter Vormündern und Vermögensverwaltern bis zu dem vom Vater festgesetzten Zeitpunkt.

Mas está debajo de tutores y curadores hasta el tiempo señalado por el padre.

But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.

but is under guardians and stewards until the day appointed by the father.

So standen auch wir, solange wir (geistlich) unmündig waren, als Sklaven unter der Herrschaft der Elemente der Welt.

Así también nosotros, cuando éramos niños, éramos siervos bajo los rudimentos del mundo.

Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:

So we also, when we were children, were held in bondage under the elemental principles of the world.

Als aber die Erfüllung der Zeit gekommen war, sandte Gott seinen Sohn, der von einem Weibe geboren und dem Gesetz unterworfen wurde;

Mas venido el cumplimiento del tiempo, Dios envió su Hijo, hecho de mujer, hecho súbdito á la ley,

But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

But when the fullness of the time came, God sent out his Son, born to a woman, born under the law,

er sollte die unter dem Gesetz Stehenden loskaufen, damit wir die Einsetzung in die Sohnschaft erlangten.

Para que redimiese á los que estaban debajo de la ley, á fin de que recibiésemos la adopción de hijos.

To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

that he might redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as children.

Weil ihr jetzt aber Söhne seid, hat Gott den Geist seines Sohnes in unsere Herzen gesandt, der da ruft: »Abba, (lieber) Vater!«

Y por cuanto sois hijos, Dios envió el Espíritu de su Hijo en vuestros corazones, el cual clama: Abba, Padre.

And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

And because you are children, God sent out the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, “Abba, Father!”

Mithin bist du kein Knecht mehr, sondern ein Sohn; bist du aber ein Sohn, so bist du auch ein Erbe durch Gott.

Así que ya no eres más siervo, sino hijo; y si hijo, también heredero de Dios por Cristo.

Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

So you are no longer a bondservant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Damals freilich, als ihr Gott noch nicht kanntet, habt ihr solchen Göttern gedient, die ihrem Wesen nach gar keine Götter sind.

Antes, en otro tiempo, no conociendo á Dios, servíais á los que por naturaleza no son dioses:

Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods.

However at that time, not knowing God, you were in bondage to those who by nature are not gods.

Da ihr jetzt aber Gott erkannt habt oder vielmehr von Gott erkannt worden seid: wie könnt ihr euch da nur wieder den erbärmlichen und armseligen Elementen zuwenden und Lust haben, ihnen noch einmal von neuem als Knechte zu dienen?!

Mas ahora, habiendo conocido á Dios, ó más bien, siendo conocidos de Dios, ¿cómo os volvéis de nuevo á los flacos y pobres rudimentos, en los cuales queréis volver á servir?

But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?

But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, why do you turn back again to the weak and miserable elemental principles, to which you desire to be in bondage all over again?

Ihr beobachtet ja Tage und Monate, Festzeiten und Jahre!

Guardáis los días, y los meses, y los tiempos, y los años.

Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.

You observe days, months, seasons, and years.

Ich bin um euch besorgt, daß ich vergeblich an euch gearbeitet haben möchte.

Temo de vosotros, que no haya trabajado en vano en vosotros.

I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.

I am afraid for you, that I might have wasted my labor for you.

Werdet doch so, wie ich (bin)! Denn auch ich (bin so gesetzesfrei geworden), wie ihr, liebe Brüder, ich bitte euch! Ihr habt mir (ja früher) nichts zuleide getan;

Hermanos, os ruego, sed como yo, porque yo soy como vosotros: ningún agravio me habéis hecho.

Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are: ye have not injured me at all.

I beg you, brothers, become as I am, for I also have become as you are. You did me no wrong,

ihr wißt vielmehr, daß ich euch das erste Mal, veranlaßt durch leibliche Schwäche, die Heilsbotschaft verkündigt habe.

Que vosotros sabéis que por flaqueza de carne os anuncié el evangelio al principio:

Ye know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first.

but you know that because of weakness in the flesh I preached the Good News to you the first time.

Damals habt ihr mich trotz des Anstoßes, den mein leiblicher Zustand bei euch erregen mußte, nicht mit Verachtung behandelt und nicht mit Abscheu zurückgewiesen, sondern mich wie einen Engel Gottes, ja wie Christus Jesus (selber) aufgenommen.

Y no desechasteis ni menospreciasteis mi tentación que estaba en mi carne: antes me recibisteis como á un ángel de Dios, como á Cristo Jesús.

And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.

That which was a temptation to you in my flesh, you didn’t despise nor reject; but you received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.

Wo ist nun eure (damalige) glückselige Freude geblieben? Ich muß euch ja das Zeugnis ausstellen, daß ihr euch damals, wenn es möglich gewesen wäre, die Augen ausgerissen und sie mir geschenkt hättet.

¿Dónde está pues vuestra bienaventuranza? porque yo os doy testimonio que si se pudiera hacer, os hubierais sacado vuestros ojos para dármelos.

Where is then the blessedness ye spake of? for I bear you record, that, if it had been possible, ye would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.

What was the blessing you enjoyed? For I testify to you that, if possible, you would have plucked out your eyes and given them to me.

Sonach bin ich jetzt wohl dadurch euer Feind geworden, daß ich euch die Wahrheit vorhalte?

¿Heme pues hecho vuestro enemigo, diciéndoos la verdad?

Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

So then, have I become your enemy by telling you the truth?

O sie bewerben sich nicht in guter Absicht eifrig um eure Gunst, nein, sie möchten euch gern (von mir) ausschließen, damit ihr euch dann eifrig um ihre Gunst bemüht.

Tienen celos de vosotros, pero no bien: antes os quieren echar fuera para que vosotros los celéis á ellos.

They zealously affect you, but not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect them.

They zealously seek you in no good way. No, they desire to alienate you, that you may seek them.

Schön ist es ja, in guter Sache Gegenstand eifriger Umwerbung zu sein, und zwar allezeit und nicht nur während meiner Anwesenheit bei euch.

Bueno es ser celosos en bien siempre; y no solamente cuando estoy presente con vosotros.

But it is good to be zealously affected always in a good thing, and not only when I am present with you.

But it is always good to be zealous in a good cause, and not only when I am present with you.

Meine lieben Kinder, um die ich jetzt wiederum Geburtsschmerzen leide, bis Christus (endlich) in euch Gestalt gewinnt:

Hijitos míos, que vuelvo otra vez á estar de parto de vosotros, hasta que Cristo sea formado en vosotros;

My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

My little children, of whom I am again in travail until Christ is formed in you—

ich wollte, ich wäre gerade jetzt bei euch und könnte in anderem Ton zu euch reden; denn ich weiß mir euretwegen keinen Rat!

Querría cierto estar ahora con vosotros, y mudar mi voz; porque estoy perplejo en cuanto á vosotros.

I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you.

but I could wish to be present with you now, and to change my tone, for I am perplexed about you.

Sagt mir doch, die ihr gern unter dem Gesetz stehen möchtet: hört ihr denn das Gesetz nicht?

Decidme, los que queréis estar debajo de la ley, ¿no habéis oído la ley?

Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?

Tell me, you that desire to be under the law, don’t you listen to the law?

Es steht ja doch geschrieben, daß Abraham zwei Söhne hatte, einen von der Magd und einen von der Freien.

Porque escrito está que Abraham tuvo dos hijos; uno de la sierva, el otro de la libre.

For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.

For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the servant, and one by the free woman.

Jedoch jener von der Magd war nur sein fleischmäßig erzeugter Sohn, dieser von der Freien aber war ihm aufgrund der (göttlichen) Verheißung geboren.

Mas el de la sierva nació según la carne; pero el de la libre nació por la promesa.

But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.

However, the son by the servant was born according to the flesh, but the son by the free woman was born through promise.

Das ist bildlich gesprochen; denn diese (beiden Frauen) stellen zwei Bündnisse dar, das eine vom Berge Sinai, das zur Knechtschaft gebiert: das ist die Hagar;

Las cuales cosas son dichas por alegoría: porque estas mujeres son los dos pactos; el uno ciertamente del monte Sinaí, el cual engendró para servidumbre, que es Agar.

Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.

These things contain an allegory, for these are two covenants. One is from Mount Sinai, bearing children to bondage, which is Hagar.

das Wort Hagar bedeutet nämlich den Berg Sinai in Arabien, und sie entspricht dem heutigen Jerusalem; denn dieses befindet sich (auch) in Knechtschaft samt seinen Kindern.

Porque Agar ó Sinaí es un monte de Arabia, el cual es conjunto á la que ahora es Jerusalem, la cual sirve con sus hijos.

For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.

For this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and answers to the Jerusalem that exists now, for she is in bondage with her children.

Das Jerusalem droben dagegen ist eine Freie, und dies (Jerusalem) ist unsere Mutter;

Mas la Jerusalem de arriba libre es; la cual es la madre de todos nosotros.

But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

But the Jerusalem that is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

denn es steht geschrieben: »Freue dich, du Kinderlose, die du nicht Mutter wirst! Brich in Jubel aus und frohlocke, die du keine Geburtsschmerzen zu leiden hast! Denn die Alleinstehende hat zahlreiche Kinder, mehr als die Verehelichte.«

Porque está escrito: Alégrate, estéril, que no pares: prorrumpe y clama, la que no estás de parto; porque más son los hijos de la dejada, que de la que tiene marido.

For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.

For it is written, “Rejoice, you barren who don’t bear. Break out and shout, you who don’t travail. For the desolate women have more children than her who has a husband.”

Ihr aber, liebe Brüder, seid nach Isaaks Art Kinder der Verheißung.

Así que, hermanos, nosotros como Isaac somos hijos de la promesa.

Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.

Now we, brothers, as Isaac was, are children of promise.

Wie jedoch damals der nach dem Fleisch erzeugte Sohn den nach dem Geist erzeugten verfolgt hat, so ist es auch jetzt der Fall.

Empero como entonces el que era engendrado según la carne, perseguía al que había nacido según el Espíritu, así también ahora.

But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.

But as then, he who was born according to the flesh persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, so also it is now.

Aber was sagt die Schrift dazu? »Verstoße die Magd und ihren Sohn! Denn der Sohn der Magd soll nicht das gleiche Erbrecht mit dem Sohn der Freien haben.«

Mas ¿qué dice la Escritura? Echa fuera á la sierva y á su hijo; porque no será heredero el hijo de la sierva con el hijo de la libre.

Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.

However, what does the Scripture say? “Throw out the servant and her son, for the son of the servant will not inherit with the son of the free woman.”

Darum, liebe Brüder: Wir sind nicht Kinder einer Magd, sondern der Freien!

De manera, hermanos, que no somos hijos de la sierva, mas de la libre.

So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

So then, brothers, we are not children of a servant, but of the free woman.
