Gálatas 5

Para a liberdade Cristo nos libertou; portanto, estai firmes, e não volteis a vos prender com o jugo da escravidão.

ESTAD, pues, firmes en la libertad con que Cristo nos hizo libres, y no volváis otra vez á ser presos en el yugo de servidumbre.

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

Eis que eu, Paulo, vos digo, que se vos deixardes circuncidar, Cristo vos será útil em nada.

He aquí yo Pablo os digo, que si os circuncidareis, Cristo no os aprovechará nada.

Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.

Behold, I, Paul, tell you that if you receive circumcision, Christ will profit you nothing.

E de novo atesto que todo homem que se deixar circuncidar está obrigado a obedecer a toda a Lei.

Y otra vez vuelvo á protestar á todo hombre que se circuncidare, que está obligado á hacer toda la ley.

For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

Yes, I testify again to every man who receives circumcision that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

Desligados estais de Cristo, vós que quereis ser justos pela Lei; da graça caístes.

Vacíos sois de Cristo los que por la ley os justificáis; de la gracia habéis caído.

Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

You are alienated from Christ, you who desire to be justified by the law. You have fallen away from grace.

Pois, por meio do Espírito, pela fé, aguardamos a esperança da justiça;

Porque nosotros por el Espíritu esperamos la esperanza de la justicia por la fe.

For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

For we through the Spirit, by faith wait for the hope of righteousness.

porque, em Cristo Jesus, nem a circuncisão nem a incircuncisão tem valor algum; mas sim a fé, que opera por meio do amor.

Porque en Cristo Jesús ni la circuncisión vale algo, ni la incircuncisión; sino la fe que obra por la caridad.

For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision amounts to anything, but faith working through love.

Estáveis correndo bem; quem vos impediu de obedecerdes à verdade?

Vosotros corríais bien: ¿quién os embarazó para no obedecer á la verdad?

Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?

You were running well! Who interfered with you that you should not obey the truth?

Esta persuasão não parte daquele que vos chama.

Esta persuasión no es de aquel que os llama.

This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you.

This persuasion is not from him who calls you.

Um pouco de fermento leveda toda a massa.

Un poco de levadura leuda toda la masa.

A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.

A little yeast grows through the whole lump.

Acerca de vós, confio no Senhor de que não mudareis a vossa mentalidade; mas aquele que vos perturba, seja quem for, sofrerá o julgamento.

Yo confío de vosotros en el Señor, que ninguna otra cosa sentiréis: mas el que os inquieta, llevará el juicio, quienquiera que él sea.

I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.

I have confidence toward you in the Lord that you will think no other way. But he who troubles you will bear his judgment, whoever he is.

Mas se eu, irmãos, ainda prego a circuncisão, por que, então, sou perseguido? Então a ofensa da cruz está anulada!

Y yo, hermanos, si aun predico la circuncisión, ¿por qué padezco persecución todavía? pues que quitado es el escándalo de la cruz.

And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.

But I, brothers, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? Then the stumbling block of the cross has been removed.

Gostaria que aqueles que estão vos perturbando castrassem a si mesmos.

Ojalá fuesen también cortados los que os inquietan.

I would they were even cut off which trouble you.

I wish that those who disturb you would cut themselves off.

Pois vós, irmãos, fostes chamados para a liberdade. Somente não useis a liberdade como oportunidade para a carne; em vez disso, servi-vos uns aos outros pelo amor.

Porque vosotros, hermanos, á libertad habéis sido llamados; solamente que no uséis la libertad como ocasión á la carne, sino servíos por amor los unos á los otros.

For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don’t use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love be servants to one another.

Pois toda a Lei se cumpre em uma só regra, que é: Amarás ao teu próximo como a ti mesmo.

Porque toda la ley en aquesta sola palabra se cumple: Amarás á tu prójimo como á ti mismo.

For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Se, porém, mordeis e devorais uns aos outros, cuidado para não vos destruirdes mutuamente.

Y si os mordéis y os coméis los unos á los otros, mirad que también no os consumáis los unos á los otros.

But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

But if you bite and devour one another, be careful that you don’t consume one another.

Mas eu digo: andai no Espírito, e não executeis o mau desejo da carne.

Digo pues: Andad en el Espíritu, y no satisfagáis la concupiscencia de la carne.

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh.

Pois a carne deseja contra o Espírito, e o Espírito contra a carne; pois estes se opõem mutuamente, para que não façais o que quereis.

Porque la carne codicia contra el Espíritu, y el Espíritu contra la carne: y estas cosas se oponen la una á la otra, para que no hagáis lo que quisiereis.

For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.

Mas, se sois guiados pelo Espírito, não estais debaixo da Lei.

Mas si sois guiados del Espíritu, no estáis bajo la ley.

But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

As obras da carne são evidentes. São elas: pecado sexual, impureza, devassidão,

Y manifiestas son las obras de la carne, que son: adulterio, fornicación, inmundicia, disolución,

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

Now the deeds of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness,

idolatria, feitiçaria, inimizades, brigas, ciúmes, iras, rivalidades egoístas, desavenças, facções,

Idolatría, hechicerías, enemistades, pleitos, celos, iras, contiendas, disensiones, herejías,

Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies,

invejas, bebedices, orgias, e coisas semelhantes a essas, das quais eu havia vos dito anteriormente; assim como eu também haviavos dito antes que os que praticam tais coisas não herdarão o Reino de Deus.

Envidias, homicidios, borracheras, banqueteos, y cosas semejantes á éstas: de las cuales os denuncio, como ya os he anunciado, que los que hacen tales cosas no heredarán el reino de Dios.

Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

envy, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s Kingdom.

Mas o fruto do Espírito é: amor, alegria, paz, paciência, benignidade, bondade, fidelidade,

Mas el fruto del Espíritu es: caridad, gozo, paz, tolerancia, benignidad, bondad, fe,

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,

mansidão, domínio próprio. Contra essas coisas não há lei.

Mansedumbre, templanza: contra tales cosas no hay ley.

Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Os que são de Cristo Jesus crucificaram a carne com as paixões e os maus desejos.

Porque los que son de Cristo, han crucificado la carne con los afectos y concupiscencias.

And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.

Se vivemos no Espírito, também no Espírito andemos.

Si vivimos en el Espíritu, andemos también en el Espíritu.

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

If we live by the Spirit, let’s also walk by the Spirit.

Não nos tornemos presunçosos, irritando uns aos outros, e invejando uns aos outros.

No seamos codiciosos de vana gloria, irritando los unos á los otros, envidiándose los unos á los otros.

Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Let’s not become conceited, provoking one another, and envying one another.
