2ed avendo una serva egizia, nominata Agar, disse ad Abramo: Ecco, ora il Signore mi ha fatta sterile, tal che non posso far figliuoli; deh! entra dalla mia serva; forse avrò progenie da lei. Ed Abramo acconsentì alla voce di Sarai.

2Dijo, pues, Sarai á Abram: Ya ves que Jehová me ha hecho estéril: ruégote que entres á mi sierva; quizá tendré hijos de ella. Y atendió Abram al dicho de Sarai.

2And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.

2Sarai said to Abram, “See now, the LORD has restrained me from bearing. Please go in to my servant. It may be that I will obtain children by her.” Abram listened to the voice of Sarai.
