15Pero Yahvé le respondió: “No será así. El que mate a Caín será castigado siete veces”. Entonces Yahvé le puso una señal a Caín para que el que lo encontrara no lo matara.

15Y respondióle Jehová: Cierto que cualquiera que matare á Caín, siete veces será castigado. Entonces Jehová puso señal en Caín, para que no lo hiriese cualquiera que le hallara.

15And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.
World English Bible
15The LORD said to him, “Therefore whoever slays Cain, vengeance will be taken on him sevenfold.” The LORD appointed a sign for Cain, so that anyone finding him would not strike him.
