11Cuando los cananeos que vivían allí vieron el luto en la era de Atad, comentaron: “Este luto de los egipcios es muy grande”. Por eso, a ese lugar que está junto al Jordán se le llamó Abel Mizraim.

11Y viendo los moradores de la tierra, los Cananeos, el llanto en la era de Atad, dijeron: Llanto grande es este de los Egipcios: por eso fué llamado su nombre Abelmizraim, que está á la otra parte del Jordán.

11And when the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, saw the mourning in the floor of Atad, they said, This is a grievous mourning to the Egyptians: wherefore the name of it was called Abel-mizraim, which is beyond Jordan.
