Car je vais faire lever les Chaldéens, peuple rude et impétueux, qui s'avance au large sur la terre pour s'emparer de demeures qui ne sont point à lui.

Porque he aquí, yo levanto los Caldeos, gente amarga y presurosa, que camina por la anchura de la tierra para poseer las habitaciones ajenas.

For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwellingplaces that are not theirs.
