Pois, vê! Estou prestes a levantar os caldeus, aquela nação feroz e impetuosa, que está marchando por toda a largura da Terra, para se apoderarem de casas que não lhes pertencem.

Porque he aquí, yo levanto los Caldeos, gente amarga y presurosa, que camina por la anchura de la tierra para poseer las habitaciones ajenas.
