¿Hasta cuándo, Señor, tus oídos estarán cerrados a mi voz? Te reclamo por el comportamiento violento, pero no envías la salvación.
¿Hasta cuándo, oh Jehová, clamaré, y no oirás; y daré voces á ti á causa de la violencia, y no salvarás?
O LORD, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear! even cry out unto thee of violence, and thou wilt not save!
LORD, how long will I cry, and you will not hear? I cry out to you “Violence!” and will you not save?
¿Por qué me haces ver maldad, y por qué me haces ver la opresión? porque la destrucción y los actos violentos están delante de mí; hay peleas y argumentos amargos.
¿Por qué me haces ver iniquidad, y haces que mire molestia, y saco y violencia delante de mí, habiendo además quien levante pleito y contienda?
Why dost thou shew me iniquity, and cause me to behold grievance? for spoiling and violence are before me: and there are that raise up strife and contention.
Why do you show me iniquity, and look at perversity? For destruction and violence are before me. There is strife, and contention rises up.
Por esta razón, la ley es débil y la justicia no prevalece; porque el hombre recto está rodeado de malhechores; por lo cual la justicia es pervertida.
Por lo cual la ley es debilitada, y el juicio no sale verdadero: por cuanto el impío asedia al justo, por eso sale torcido el juicio.
Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.
Therefore the law is paralyzed, and justice never prevails; for the wicked surround the righteous; therefore justice comes out perverted.
Miren entre las naciones, y tomen nota, y sean maravillados, asómbrense; porque en sus días estoy haciendo un trabajo en el que no creerán, incluso si alguien les contara.
Mirad en las gentes, y ved, y maravillaos pasmosamente; porque obra será hecha en vuestros días, que aun cuando se os contare, no la creeréis.
Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvellously: for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you.
“Look among the nations, watch, and wonder marvelously; for I am working a work in your days which you will not believe though it is told you.
Porque he aquí, estoy enviando a los caldeos, esa nación amargada y veloz; quienes atraviesan los amplios espacios de la tierra para adueñarse de lugares de vida que no son de ellos.
Porque he aquí, yo levanto los Caldeos, gente amarga y presurosa, que camina por la anchura de la tierra para poseer las habitaciones ajenas.
For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwellingplaces that are not theirs.

Imponente y terrible: su derecho y grandeza proviene de ellos mismos.
Espantosa es y terrible: de ella misma saldrá su derecho y su grandeza.
They are terrible and dreadful: their judgment and their dignity shall proceed of themselves.
They are feared and dreaded. Their judgment and their dignity proceed from themselves.
Y sus caballos son más rápidos que los leopardos y sus jinetes más crueles que los lobos nocturnos; vienen de muy lejos, como un águila en vuelo que se apresura a comer.
Y serán sus caballos más ligeros que tigres, y más agudos que lobos de tarde; y sus jinetes se multiplicarán: vendrán de lejos sus caballeros, y volarán como águilas que se apresuran á la comida.
Their horses also are swifter than the leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves: and their horsemen shall spread themselves, and their horsemen shall come from far; they shall fly as the eagle that hasteth to eat.
Their horses also are swifter than leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves. Their horsemen press proudly on. Yes, their horsemen come from afar. They fly as an eagle that hurries to devour.
Vienen todos con fuerza para hacer violencia; la dirección de sus caras es hacia adelante, el número de sus prisioneros es como las arenas del mar.
Toda ella vendrá á la presa: delante de sus caras viento solano; y juntará cautivos como arena.
They shall come all for violence: their faces shall sup up as the east wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand.
All of them come for violence. Their hordes face forward. They gather prisoners like sand.
Se burlan de los reyes, los gobernantes son una burla para ellos; todos las fortalezas son para reírse; porque amontonarán rampas y las tomarán.
Y escarnecerá de los reyes, y de los príncipes hará burla: reiráse de toda fortaleza, y amontonará polvo, y la tomará.
And they shall scoff at the kings, and the princes shall be a scorn unto them: they shall deride every strong hold; for they shall heap dust, and take it.
Yes, they scoff at kings, and princes are a derision to them. They laugh at every stronghold, for they build up an earthen ramp and take it.
Entonces su parecer será cambiado, pasará y será culpable; hará de su fuerza su dios.
Luego mudará espíritu, y pasará adelante, y ofenderá atribuyendo esta su potencia á su dios.
Then shall his mind change, and he shall pass over, and offend, imputing this his power unto his god.
Then they sweep by like the wind and go on. They are indeed guilty, whose strength is their god.”
¿No eres eterno, oh Señor mi Dios, mi Santo? para ti no hay muerte. Oh Señor, él ha sido ordenado por ti para nuestro castigo; y por ti, les has dado fuerzas para corregirnos.
¿No eres tú desde el principio, oh Jehová, Dios mío, Santo mío? No moriremos. Oh Jehová, para juicio lo pusiste; y tú, oh Roca, lo fundaste para castigar.
Art thou not from everlasting, O LORD my God, mine Holy One? we shall not die. O LORD, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction.
Aren’t you from everlasting, LORD my God, my Holy One? We will not die. LORD, you have appointed them for judgment. You, Rock, have established him to punish.
Muy limpio eres de ojos, y no puedes ver el pecado, ni puedes ver el mal? ¿Por qué, apruebas la maldad? ¿Por qué no dices nada cuando el malhechor destruye a alguien que es más recto que él?
Muy limpio eres de ojos para ver el mal, ni puedes ver el agravio: ¿por qué ves los menospreciadores, y callas cuando destruye el impío al más justo que él,
Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?
You who have purer eyes than to see evil, and who cannot look on perversity, why do you tolerate those who deal treacherously and keep silent when the wicked swallows up the man who is more righteous than he,
Él ha hecho a los hombres como los peces del mar, como los gusanos que no tienen gobernante sobre ellos.
Y haces que sean los hombres como los peces de la mar, como reptiles que no tienen señor?
And makest men as the fishes of the sea, as the creeping things, that have no ruler over them?
and make men like the fish of the sea, like the creeping things that have no ruler over them?
Los toma a todos con su anzuelo, los toma en su red y los reúne en su red de pesca: por lo cual está contento y lleno de alegría.
Sacará á todos con anzuelo, cogerálos con su red, y juntarálos en su aljerife: por lo cual se holgará y hará alegrías.
They take up all of them with the angle, they catch them in their net, and gather them in their drag: therefore they rejoice and are glad.
He takes up all of them with the hook. He catches them in his net and gathers them in his dragnet. Therefore he rejoices and is glad.
Por esta razón hace una ofrenda a su red, quemando perfume a su red de pesca; porque con ellos obtiene mucha comida y su carne es suculenta.
Por esto hará sacrificios á su red, y ofrecerá sahumerios á su aljerife: porque con ellos engordó su porción, y engrasó su comida.
Therefore they sacrifice unto their net, and burn incense unto their drag; because by them their portion is fat, and their meat plenteous.
Therefore he sacrifices to his net and burns incense to his dragnet, because by them his life is luxurious and his food is good.
Por esta razón su red está siempre abierta, y su destrucción de las naciones no tiene fin.
¿Vaciará por eso su red, ó tendrá piedad de matar gentes continuamente?
Shall they therefore empty their net, and not spare continually to slay the nations?
Will he therefore continually empty his net, and kill the nations without mercy?
