¿Acaso no están predichas estas cosas por el Señor de los ejércitos? Porque en vano, dice el Señor, se afanarán los pueblos, y las gentes allegarán bienes para pábulo de un gran fuego, y desfallecerán.

¿No es esto de Jehová de los ejércitos? Los pueblos pues trabajarán para el fuego, y las gentes se fatigarán en vano.

Behold, is it not of the LORD of hosts that the people shall labour in the very fire, and the people shall weary themselves for very vanity?

Behold, isn’t it from the LORD of Armies that the peoples labor for the fire, and the nations weary themselves for vanity?
