Habacuc 2

Je veux me tenir à mon poste, et me placer sur la tour de garde ; et j'observerai pour voir ce que me dira Yahweh, et ce que je répondrai à la remontrance qui me sera faite.

SOBRE mi guarda estaré, y sobre la fortaleza afirmaré el pie, y atalayaré para ver qué hablará en mí, y qué tengo de responder á mi pregunta.

I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

I will stand at my watch and set myself on the ramparts, and will look out to see what he will say to me, and what I will answer concerning my complaint.

Et Yahweh me répondit et dit : Écris la vision et grave-la sur les tables, afin qu'on y lise couramment.

Y Jehová me respondió, y dijo: Escribe la visión, y declárala en tablas, para que corra el que leyere en ella.

And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

The LORD answered me, “Write the vision, and make it plain on tablets, that he who runs may read it.

Car il y a encore une vision pour un temps fixé ; elle se hâte vers son terme et ne mentira pas ; si elle tarde, attends-là, car elle arrivera certainement, elle ne manquera pas :

Aunque la visión tardará aún por tiempo, mas al fin hablará, y no mentirá: aunque se tardare, espéralo, que sin duda vendrá; no tardará.

For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it, because it will surely come. It won’t delay.

Celui dont l'âme s'enfle au-dedans de lui n'est pas dans le droit chemin ; mais le juste vivra par sa foi.

He aquí se enorgullece aquel cuya alma no es derecha en él: mas el justo en su fe vivirá.

Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

Behold, his soul is puffed up. It is not upright in him, but the righteous will live by his faith.

Et de plus le vin est perfide ! L'homme arrogant ne subsistera pas, lui qui s'est fait un appétit large comme le schéol, qui, comme la mort, est insatiable ; il rassemble vers lui toutes les nations, et ramasse à lui tous les peuples.

Y también, por cuanto peca por el vino, es un hombre soberbio, y no permanecerá: que ensanchó como el infierno su alma, y es como la muerte, que no se hartará: antes reunió á sí todas las gentes, y amontonó á sí todos los pueblos.

Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people:

Yes, moreover, wine is treacherous: an arrogant man who doesn’t stay at home, who enlarges his desire as Sheol; he is like death and can’t be satisfied, but gathers to himself all nations and heaps to himself all peoples.

Est-ce que ceux-ci, eux tous, ne prononceront pas à son sujet des sentences, des fables et des énigmes à son adresse ? On dira : Malheur à qui amasse ce qui n'est pas à lui, — jusques à quand ? — à qui met sur soi un fardeau de gages !

¿No han de levantar todos estos sobre él parábola, y sarcasmos contra él? Y dirán: ¡Ay del que multiplicó lo que no era suyo! ¿Y hasta cuándo había de amontonar sobre sí espeso lodo?

Shall not all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb against him, and say, Woe to him that increaseth that which is not his! how long? and to him that ladeth himself with thick clay!

Won’t all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb against him, and say, ‘Woe to him who increases that which is not his, and who enriches himself by extortion! How long?’

Tes créanciers ne se lèveront-ils pas soudain, tes bourreaux ne se réveilleront-ils pas, et ne deviendras-tu pas leur proie ?

¿No se levantarán de repente los que te han de morder, y se despertarán los que te han de quitar de tu lugar, y serás á ellos por rapiña?

Shall they not rise up suddenly that shall bite thee, and awake that shall vex thee, and thou shalt be for booties unto them?

Won’t your debtors rise up suddenly, and wake up those who make you tremble, and you will be their victim?

Parce que tu as dépouillé beaucoup de nations, tous les peuples qui restent te dépouilleront, à cause du sang humain répandu, des violences faites à la terre, à la ville et à tous ses habitants.

Porque tú has despojado muchas gentes, todos los otros pueblos te despojarán; á causa de las sangres humanas, y robos de la tierra, de las ciudades y de todos los que moraban en ellas.

Because thou hast spoiled many nations, all the remnant of the people shall spoil thee; because of men’s blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein.

Because you have plundered many nations, all the remnant of the peoples will plunder you because of men’s blood, and for the violence done to the land, to the city and to all who dwell in it.

Malheur à qui amasse pour sa maison des gains iniques, afin de placer son nid bien haut, pour échapper à l'atteinte du malheur !

¡Ay del que codicia maligna codicia para su casa, por poner en alto su nido, por escaparse del poder del mal!

Woe to him that coveteth an evil covetousness to his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the power of evil!

Woe to him who gets an evil gain for his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the hand of evil!

Tu as médité la honte de ta maison ; en détruisant beaucoup de peuples, tu as péché contre toi-même.

Tomaste consejo vergonzoso para tu casa, asolaste muchos pueblos, y has pecado contra tu vida.

Thou hast consulted shame to thy house by cutting off many people, and hast sinned against thy soul.

You have devised shame to your house by cutting off many peoples, and have sinned against your soul.

Car la pierre criera de la muraille, et la poutre lui répondra de la charpente.

Porque la piedra clamará desde el muro, y la tabla del enmaderado le responderá.

For the stone shall cry out of the wall, and the beam out of the timber shall answer it.

For the stone will cry out of the wall, and the beam out of the woodwork will answer it.

Malheur à qui bâtit une ville dans le sang, et fonde une cité sur l'injustice !

¡Ay del que edifica la ciudad con sangres, y del que funda la villa con iniquidad!

Woe to him that buildeth a town with blood, and stablisheth a city by iniquity!

Woe to him who builds a town with blood, and establishes a city by iniquity!

N'est-ce pas, ceci, la volonté de Yahweh des armées : que les peuples travaillent pour le feu, et que les nations se fatiguent pour le néant ?

¿No es esto de Jehová de los ejércitos? Los pueblos pues trabajarán para el fuego, y las gentes se fatigarán en vano.

Behold, is it not of the LORD of hosts that the people shall labour in the very fire, and the people shall weary themselves for very vanity?

Behold, isn’t it from the LORD of Armies that the peoples labor for the fire, and the nations weary themselves for vanity?

Car la terre sera remplie de la connaissance de la gloire de Yahweh, comme les eaux recouvrent le fond de la mer.

Porque la tierra será llena de conocimiento de la gloria de Jehová, como las aguas cubren la mar.

For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the LORD’s glory, as the waters cover the sea.

Malheur à qui fait boire son prochain, à toi qui lui verses ta fureur jusqu'à l'enivrer, pour regarder sa nudité !

¡Ay del que da de beber á sus compañeros, que les acercas tu hiel y embriagas, para mirar sus desnudeces!

Woe unto him that giveth his neighbour drink, that puttest thy bottle to him, and makest him drunken also, that thou mayest look on their nakedness!

“Woe to him who gives his neighbor drink, pouring your inflaming wine until they are drunk, so that you may gaze at their naked bodies!

Tu t'es rassasié d'opprobre, au lieu de gloire ; bois, toi aussi, et montre ton incirconcision ; la coupe de la droite de Yahweh se retournera sur toi ; l'ignominie couvrira ta gloire.

Haste llenado de deshonra más que de honra: bebe tú también, y serás descubierto; el cáliz de la mano derecha de Jehová volverá sobre ti, y vómito de afrenta sobre tu gloria.

Thou art filled with shame for glory: drink thou also, and let thy foreskin be uncovered: the cup of the LORD’s right hand shall be turned unto thee, and shameful spewing shall be on thy glory.

You are filled with shame, and not glory. You will also drink and be exposed! The cup of the LORD’s right hand will come around to you, and disgrace will cover your glory.

Car la violence faite au Liban retombera sur toi, ainsi que la destruction des animaux frappés d'épouvante, à cause du sang humain répandu, des violences faites à la terre, à la ville et à tous ses habitants.

Porque la rapiña del Líbano caerá sobre ti, y la destrucción de las fieras lo quebrantará; á causa de las sangres humanas, y del robo de la tierra, de las ciudades, y de todos los que en ellas moraban.

For the violence of Lebanon shall cover thee, and the spoil of beasts, which made them afraid, because of men’s blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein.

For the violence done to Lebanon will overwhelm you, and the destruction of the animals will terrify you, because of men’s blood and for the violence done to the land, to every city and to those who dwell in them.

A quoi sert l'image taillée, pour que son auteur la taille, l'idole de fonte, et l'oracle de mensonge, pour que l'auteur de cet ouvrage se confie en lui, en façonnant des divinités silencieuses ?

¿De qué sirve la escultura que esculpió el que la hizo? ¿la estatua de fundición, que enseña mentira, para que haciendo imágenes mudas confíe el hacedor en su obra?

What profiteth the graven image that the maker thereof hath graven it; the molten image, and a teacher of lies, that the maker of his work trusteth therein, to make dumb idols?

“What value does the engraved image have, that its maker has engraved it; the molten image, even the teacher of lies, that he who fashions its form trusts in it, to make mute idols?

Malheur à qui dit au bois : " Lève-toi ! " " Réveille-toi ! " à la pierre muette. Enseignera-t-elle ?... Voici qu'elle est plaquée d'or et d'argent, et il n'y a pas au dedans d'elle un souffle de vie.

¡Ay del que dice al palo: Despiértate; y á la piedra muda: Levántate! ¿Podrá él enseñar? He aquí él está cubierto de oro y plata, y no hay dentro de él espíritu.

Woe unto him that saith to the wood, Awake; to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it is laid over with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all in the midst of it.

Woe to him who says to the wood, ‘Awake!’ or to the mute stone, ‘Arise!’ Shall this teach? Behold, it is overlaid with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all within it.

Mais Yahweh est dans son saint temple ; tais-toi, devant lui, ô terre toute entière !

Mas Jehová está en su santo templo: calle delante de él toda la tierra.

But the LORD is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him.

But the LORD is in his holy temple. Let all the earth be silent before him!”
