A oração do profeta Habacuque:

ORACIÓN de Habacuc profeta, sobre Sigionoth.

A prayer of Habakkuk the prophet upon Shigionoth.

A prayer of Habakkuk, the prophet, set to victorious music.

"Yahweh, ouvi Tua palavra e temi! Yahweh, reaviva o Teu trabalho durante estes tempos; e, ao longo destes tempos, faze-o conhecido; lembra-Te de ter compaixão, na Tua ira".

Oh Jehová, oído he tu palabra, y temí: oh Jehová, aviva tu obra en medio de los tiempos, en medio de los tiempos hazla conocer; en la ira acuérdate de la misericordia.

O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.

LORD, I have heard of your fame. I stand in awe of your deeds, LORD. Renew your work in the middle of the years. In the middle of the years make it known. In wrath, you remember mercy.

Deus veio de Temã e o Santo veio do monte Parã. Selá. A Sua glória cobriu os céus e a terra ficou cheia do Seu louvor.

Dios vendrá de Temán, y el Santo del monte de Parán. (Selah.) Su gloria cubrió los cielos, y la tierra se llenó de su alabanza.

God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise.

Os dois raios de Sua mão brilharam como a luz, e ali Ele escondeu o Seu poder.

Y el resplandor fué como la luz; rayos brillantes salían de su mano; y allí estaba escondida su fortaleza.

And his brightness was as the light; he had horns coming out of his hand: and there was the hiding of his power.

His splendor is like the sunrise. Rays shine from his hand, where his power is hidden.

Doenças mortais foram diante Dele e a praga perseguiu Seus pés.

Delante de su rostro iba mortandad, y á sus pies salían carbones encendidos.

Before him went the pestilence, and burning coals went forth at his feet.

Plague went before him, and pestilence followed his feet.

Ele ficou parado e mediu a Terra; Ele olhou e sacudiu as nações. Até as montanhas indestrutíveis foram despedaçadas e as colinas intermináveis se prostraram. Seu caminho é eterno.

Paróse, y midió la tierra: miró, é hizo temblar las gentes; y los montes antiguos fueron desmenuzados, los collados antiguos se humillaron á él. Sus caminos son eternos.

He stood, and measured the earth: he beheld, and drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did bow: his ways are everlasting.

He stood, and shook the earth. He looked, and made the nations tremble. The ancient mountains were crumbled. The age-old hills collapsed. His ways are eternal.

Vi as tendas de Cusan tremendo, os tecidos das tendas na terra de Midiã.

He visto las tiendas de Cushán en aflicción; las tiendas de la tierra de Madián temblaron.

I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction: and the curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.

I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction. The dwellings of the land of Midian trembled.

Estava Yahweh irado com os rios? Era a Tua ira contra os rios, ou a Tua fúria contra o mar, quando montaste os Teus cavalos e Tuas carruagens vitoriosas?

¿Airóse Jehová contra los ríos? ¿contra los ríos fué tu enojo? ¿tu ira contra la mar, cuando subiste sobre tus caballos, y sobre tus carros de salud?

Was the LORD displeased against the rivers? was thine anger against the rivers? was thy wrath against the sea, that thou didst ride upon thine horses and thy chariots of salvation?

Was the LORD displeased with the rivers? Was your anger against the rivers, or your wrath against the sea, that you rode on your horses, on your chariots of salvation?

Tu revelaste o Teu arco; Tu colocaste flechas no Teu arco! Selá. Tu dividiste a terra com os rios.

Descubrióse enteramente tu arco, los juramentos á las tribus, palabra segura. (Selah.) Hendiste la tierra con ríos.

Thy bow was made quite naked, according to the oaths of the tribes, even thy word. Selah. Thou didst cleave the earth with rivers.

You uncovered your bow. You called for your sworn arrows. Selah. You split the earth with rivers.

As montanhas Te viram e se contorceram de dor. Correntes de águas passaram sobre elas; o mar profundo deu um grito e levantou suas ondas.

Viéronte, y tuvieron temor los montes: pasó la inundación de las aguas: el abismo dió su voz, la hondura alzó sus manos.

The mountains saw thee, and they trembled: the overflowing of the water passed by: the deep uttered his voice, and lifted up his hands on high.

The mountains saw you, and were afraid. The storm of waters passed by. The deep roared and lifted up its hands on high.

O sol e a lua ficaram parados em seus lugares altos diante do clarão de Tuas flechas que voaram, diante do relâmpago de Tua lança reluzente.

El sol y la luna se pararon en su estancia: á la luz de tus saetas anduvieron, y al resplandor de tu fulgente lanza.

The sun and moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of thine arrows they went, and at the shining of thy glittering spear.

The sun and moon stood still in the sky at the light of your arrows as they went, at the shining of your glittering spear.

Tu marchaste sobre a terra com indignação. Em ira, Tu castigaste as nações.

Con ira hollaste la tierra, con furor trillaste las gentes.

Thou didst march through the land in indignation, thou didst thresh the heathen in anger.

You marched through the land in wrath. You threshed the nations in anger.

Tu saíste para a salvação do Teu povo, para a salvação do Teu ungido. Tu destróis a liderança da casa do ímpio, para o expor desde a sua base até o pescoço. Selah.

Saliste para salvar tu pueblo, para salvar con tu ungido. Traspasaste la cabeza de la casa del impío, desnudando el cimiento hasta el cuello. (Selah.)

Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people, even for salvation with thine anointed; thou woundedst the head out of the house of the wicked, by discovering the foundation unto the neck. Selah.

You went out for the salvation of your people, for the salvation of your anointed. You crushed the head of the land of wickedness. You stripped them head to foot. Selah.

Tu trespassaste a cabeça dos seus guerreiros com as suas próprias flechas, porque eles vieram como uma tempestade para nos espalhar; seu regozijo era como o de quem devora o pobre em um lugar escondido.

Horadaste con sus báculos las cabezas de sus villas, que como tempestad acometieron para derramarme: su orgullo era como para devorar al pobre encubiertamente.

Thou didst strike through with his staves the head of his villages: they came out as a whirlwind to scatter me: their rejoicing was as to devour the poor secretly.

You pierced the heads of his warriors with their own spears. They came as a whirlwind to scatter me, gloating as if to devour the wretched in secret.

Tu viajaste sobre o mar com Teus cavalos, através das ondas, das grandes águas.

Hiciste camino en la mar á tus caballos, por montón de grandes aguas.

Thou didst walk through the sea with thine horses, through the heap of great waters.

You trampled the sea with your horses, churning mighty waters.

Eu ouvi e tremi em meu interior! Meus lábios estremeceram com o som. A podridão entra nos meus ossos e eu tremo por dentro enquanto espero silenciosamente pelo dia em que a angústia virá sobre o povo que nos invade.

Oí, y tembló mi vientre; á la voz se batieron mis labios; pudrición se entró en mis huesos, y en mi asiento me estremecí; si bien estaré quieto en el día de la angustia, cuando suba al pueblo el que lo invadirá con sus tropas.

When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he cometh up unto the people, he will invade them with his troops.

I heard, and my body trembled. My lips quivered at the voice. Rottenness enters into my bones, and I tremble in my place because I must wait quietly for the day of trouble, for the coming up of the people who invade us.

Ainda que a figueira não floresça e não haja nenhum fruto nas videiras; e ainda que o produto da oliveira falte e os campos não produzam alimento; e ainda que o rebanho seja exterminado dos currais e não haja nenhum gado nos estábulos,

Aunque la higuera no florecerá, ni en las vides habrá frutos; mentirá la obra de la oliva, y los labrados no darán mantenimiento, y las ovejas serán quitadas de la majada, y no habrá vacas en los corrales;

Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:

For even though the fig tree doesn’t flourish, nor fruit be in the vines, the labor of the olive fails, the fields yield no food, the flocks are cut off from the fold, and there is no herd in the stalls,

ainda assim, eu me regozijarei em Yahweh. Eu me alegrarei pelo Deus da minha salvação.

Con todo, yo me alegraré en Jehová, y me gozaré en el Dios de mi salud.

Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

yet I will rejoice in the LORD. I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!

O Senhor Yahweh é a minha força e Ele faz meus pés como os do cervo. Ele me faz ir adiante nos meus lugares altos. — Para o diretor da música, em meus instrumentos de cordas.

Jehová el Señor es mi fortaleza, el cual pondrá mis pies como de ciervas, y me hará andar sobre mis alturas. Al jefe de los cantores sobre mis instrumentos de cuerdas.

The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.

GOD, the Lord, is my strength. He makes my feet like deer’s feet, and enables me to go in high places. For the music director, on my stringed instruments.
