Im zweiten Regierungsjahre des Königs Darius, am ersten Tage des sechsten Monats, erging das Wort des HERRN durch den Propheten Haggai an Serubbabel, den Sohn Sealthiels, den Statthalter von Juda, und an den Hohenpriester Josua, den Sohn Jozadaks, folgendermaßen:

EN el año segundo del rey Darío en el mes sexto, en el primer día del mes, fué palabra de Jehová, por mano del profeta Haggeo, á Zorobabel hijo de Sealtiel, gobernador de Judá, y á Josué hijo de Josadac, gran sacerdote, diciendo:

In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, saying,

In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, the LORD’s word came by Haggai the prophet, to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, saying,

»So hat der HERR der Heerscharen gesprochen: Dieses Volk da sagt: ›Die Zeit, den Tempel des HERRN wieder aufzubauen, ist jetzt noch nicht gekommen!‹«

Jehová de los ejércitos habla así, diciendo: Este pueblo dice: No es aún venido el tiempo, el tiempo de que la casa de Jehová sea reedificada.

Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the time that the LORD’s house should be built.

“This is what the LORD of Armies says: These people say, ‘The time hasn’t yet come, the time for the LORD’s house to be built.’”

Daher erging das Wort des HERRN durch den Propheten Haggai folgendermaßen:

Fué pues palabra de Jehová por mano del profeta Haggeo, diciendo:

Then came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying,

»Ist es etwa für euch selbst an der Zeit, in euren getäfelten Häusern zu wohnen, während dieses Haus in Trümmern daliegt?«

¿Es para vosotros tiempo, para vosotros, de morar en vuestras casas enmaderadas, y esta casa está desierta?

Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste?

“Is it a time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, while this house lies waste?

»Und nun« – so spricht der HERR der Heerscharen – »achtet wohl darauf, wie es euch bisher ergangen ist!

Pues así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: Pensad bien sobre vuestros caminos.

Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.

Now therefore this is what the LORD of Armies says: ‘Consider your ways.

Ihr habt reichlich ausgesät, aber kärglich eingebracht; ihr habt wohl zu essen, aber es reicht nicht zum Sattwerden; ihr trinkt und stillt doch den Durst nicht; ihr habt wohl etwas zum Anziehen, aber keiner wird recht warm davon; und wer um Lohn arbeitet, der sammelt den Lohn in einen löcherigen Beutel.«

Sembráis mucho, y encerráis poco; coméis, y no os hartáis; bebéis, y no os saciáis; os vestís, y no os calentáis; y el que anda á jornal recibe su jornal en trapo horadado.

Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.

You have sown much, and bring in little. You eat, but you don’t have enough. You drink, but you aren’t filled with drink. You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; and he who earns wages earns wages to put them into a bag with holes in it.’

So spricht der HERR der Heerscharen: »Achtet wohl darauf, wie es euch bisher ergangen ist!

Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: Meditad sobre vuestros caminos.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.

“This is what the LORD of Armies says: ‘Consider your ways.

Steigt ins Gebirge hinauf, schafft Holz herbei und bauet den Tempel wieder auf, damit ich meine Freude daran habe und mich in meiner Herrlichkeit zeige! – so spricht der HERR.

Subid al monte, y traed madera, y reedificad la casa; y pondré en ella mi voluntad, y seré honrado, ha dicho Jehová.

Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD.

Ihr hattet auf viel gerechnet, aber es wurde wenig daraus; und wenn ihr das eingebracht hattet, so blies ich es weg. Warum das?« – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN der Heerscharen. »Um meines Hauses willen, das in Trümmern daliegt, während ein jeder von euch an seinem eigenen Hause seine Freude hat.

Buscáis mucho, y halláis poco; y encerráis en casa, y soplo en ello. ¿Por qué? dice Jehová de los ejércitos. Por cuanto mi casa está desierta, y cada uno de vosotros corre á su propia casa.

Ye looked for much, and, lo, it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the LORD of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house.

“You looked for much, and, behold, it came to little; and when you brought it home, I blew it away. Why?” says the LORD of Armies, “Because of my house that lies waste, while each of you is busy with his own house.

Darum hat der Himmel seinen Tau über euch zurückgehalten und die Erde euch ihren Ertrag versagt;

Por eso se detuvo de los cielos sobre vosotros la lluvia, y la tierra detuvo sus frutos.

Therefore the heaven over you is stayed from dew, and the earth is stayed from her fruit.

Therefore for your sake the heavens withhold the dew, and the earth withholds its fruit.

und ich habe Dürre über das Land kommen lassen und über die Berge, über das Getreide, den Most und das Öl, kurz über alles, was der Erdboden hervorbringt, auch über die Menschen und das Vieh und über allen Ertrag der Hände.«

Y llamé la sequedad sobre esta tierra, y sobre los montes, y sobre el trigo, y sobre el vino, y sobre el aceite, y sobre todo lo que la tierra produce, y sobre los hombres y sobre las bestias, y sobre todo trabajo de manos.

And I called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the corn, and upon the new wine, and upon the oil, and upon that which the ground bringeth forth, and upon men, and upon cattle, and upon all the labour of the hands.

I called for a drought on the land, on the mountains, on the grain, on the new wine, on the oil, on that which the ground produces, on men, on livestock, and on all the labor of the hands.”

Da hörten Serubbabel, der Sohn Sealthiels, und der Hohepriester Josua, der Sohn Jozadaks, und alle, die vom Volk noch übrig waren, auf die Mahnung des HERRN, ihres Gottes, nämlich auf die Worte des Propheten Haggai, der, wie sie erkannten, vom HERRN, ihrem Gott, zu ihnen gesandt worden war; ja, das Volk geriet in Furcht vor dem HERRN.

Y oyó Zorobabel hijo de Sealtiel, y Josué hijo de Josadac, gran sacerdote, y todo el demás pueblo, la voz de Jehová su Dios, y las palabras del profeta Haggeo, como lo había enviado Jehová el Dios de ellos; y temió el pueblo delante de Jehová.

Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him, and the people did fear before the LORD.

Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the LORD their God’s voice, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him; and the people feared the LORD.

Da machte aber Haggai, der Bote des HERRN, kraft göttlicher Botschaft dem Volk folgende Eröffnung: »›Ich bin mit euch!‹ – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN.«

Entonces Haggeo, enviado de Jehová, habló por mandado de Jehová, al pueblo, diciendo: Yo soy con vosotros, dice Jehová.

Then spake Haggai the LORD’s messenger in the LORD’s message unto the people, saying, I am with you, saith the LORD.

Then Haggai, the LORD’s messenger, spoke the LORD’s message to the people, saying, “I am with you,” says the LORD.

Hierauf erweckte der HERR den Geist Serubbabels, des Sohnes Sealthiels, des Statthalters von Juda, und den Eifer des Hohenpriesters Josua, des Sohnes Jozadaks, und den Eifer aller vom Volk Übriggebliebenen, so daß sie kamen und die Arbeit am Tempel des HERRN der Heerscharen, ihres Gottes, in Angriff nahmen

Y despertó Jehová el espíritu de Zorobabel hijo de Sealtiel, gobernador de Judá, y el espíritu de Josué hijo de Josadac, gran sacerdote, y el espíritu de todo el resto del pueblo; y vinieron é hicieron obra en la casa de Jehová de los ejércitos, su Dios,

And the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of the LORD of hosts, their God,

am vierundzwanzigsten Tage des sechsten Monats. Im zweiten Regierungsjahr des Königs Darius,

En el día veinte y cuatro del mes sexto, en el segundo año del rey Darío.

In the four and twentieth day of the sixth month, in the second year of Darius the king.
