Im zweiten Jahre des Königs Darius, am ersten Tage des sechsten Monats, erging das Wort des HERRN durch den Propheten Haggai an Serubbabel, den Sohn Sealtiels, den Statthalter von Juda, und an Josua, den Sohn Jozadaks, den Hohenpriester, also:
EN el año segundo del rey Darío en el mes sexto, en el primer día del mes, fué palabra de Jehová, por mano del profeta Haggeo, á Zorobabel hijo de Sealtiel, gobernador de Judá, y á Josué hijo de Josadac, gran sacerdote, diciendo:
In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, saying,

So spricht der HERR der Heerscharen: Dies Volk sagt: «Die Zeit ist noch nicht gekommen, daß das Haus des HERRN gebaut werde!»
Jehová de los ejércitos habla así, diciendo: Este pueblo dice: No es aún venido el tiempo, el tiempo de que la casa de Jehová sea reedificada.
Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the time that the LORD’s house should be built.
“This is what the LORD of Armies says: These people say, ‘The time hasn’t yet come, the time for the LORD’s house to be built.’”

Ist es aber für euch an der Zeit, in euren getäfelten Häusern zu wohnen, während dieses Haus in Trümmern liegt?
¿Es para vosotros tiempo, para vosotros, de morar en vuestras casas enmaderadas, y esta casa está desierta?
Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste?
“Is it a time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, while this house lies waste?
Und nun spricht der HERR der Heerscharen also: Achtet auf eure Wege!
Pues así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: Pensad bien sobre vuestros caminos.
Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
Now therefore this is what the LORD of Armies says: ‘Consider your ways.
Ihr säet viel und bringet wenig ein; ihr esset und werdet doch nicht satt; ihr trinket und habt doch nicht genug; ihr kleidet euch und werdet doch nicht warm; und wer einen Lohn verdient, der legt ihn in einen durchlöcherten Beutel!
Sembráis mucho, y encerráis poco; coméis, y no os hartáis; bebéis, y no os saciáis; os vestís, y no os calentáis; y el que anda á jornal recibe su jornal en trapo horadado.
Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.
You have sown much, and bring in little. You eat, but you don’t have enough. You drink, but you aren’t filled with drink. You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; and he who earns wages earns wages to put them into a bag with holes in it.’
So spricht der HERR der Heerscharen: Achtet genau auf eure Wege!
Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: Meditad sobre vuestros caminos.
Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
“This is what the LORD of Armies says: ‘Consider your ways.
Geht auf den Berg und holet Holz und bauet das Haus! Das wird mir gefallen und mir zur Ehre gereichen, spricht der HERR.
Subid al monte, y traed madera, y reedificad la casa; y pondré en ella mi voluntad, y seré honrado, ha dicho Jehová.
Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD.

Ihr erwartet viel, aber es ward wenig daraus; und brachtet ihr es heim, so blies ich es weg! Warum das? So spricht der HERR der Heerscharen: Um meines Hauses willen, das wüste liegt, während jeder von euch seinem Hause zuläuft!
Buscáis mucho, y halláis poco; y encerráis en casa, y soplo en ello. ¿Por qué? dice Jehová de los ejércitos. Por cuanto mi casa está desierta, y cada uno de vosotros corre á su propia casa.
Ye looked for much, and, lo, it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the LORD of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house.
“You looked for much, and, behold, it came to little; and when you brought it home, I blew it away. Why?” says the LORD of Armies, “Because of my house that lies waste, while each of you is busy with his own house.
Darum hat der Himmel über euch seinen Tau zurückgehalten und die Erde ihren Ertrag.
Por eso se detuvo de los cielos sobre vosotros la lluvia, y la tierra detuvo sus frutos.
Therefore the heaven over you is stayed from dew, and the earth is stayed from her fruit.
Therefore for your sake the heavens withhold the dew, and the earth withholds its fruit.
Und ich habe die Dürre gerufen ins Land und über die Berge, über Korn, Most und Öl und über alles, was der Erdboden hervorbringt, auch über Menschen und Vieh und über alle Arbeit der Hände.
Y llamé la sequedad sobre esta tierra, y sobre los montes, y sobre el trigo, y sobre el vino, y sobre el aceite, y sobre todo lo que la tierra produce, y sobre los hombres y sobre las bestias, y sobre todo trabajo de manos.
And I called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the corn, and upon the new wine, and upon the oil, and upon that which the ground bringeth forth, and upon men, and upon cattle, and upon all the labour of the hands.

Da horchten Serubbabel, der Sohn Sealtiels, und Josua, der Sohn Jozadaks, der Hohepriester, und alles übrige Volk auf die Stimme des HERRN, ihres Gottes, und auf die Worte des Propheten Haggai, weil der HERR, ihr Gott, ihn gesandt hatte, und das Volk fürchtete sich vor dem HERRN.
Y oyó Zorobabel hijo de Sealtiel, y Josué hijo de Josadac, gran sacerdote, y todo el demás pueblo, la voz de Jehová su Dios, y las palabras del profeta Haggeo, como lo había enviado Jehová el Dios de ellos; y temió el pueblo delante de Jehová.
Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him, and the people did fear before the LORD.
Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the LORD their God’s voice, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him; and the people feared the LORD.
Da sprach Haggai, der Bote des HERRN, im Auftrage des HERRN zum Volk: Ich bin mit euch! spricht der HERR.
Entonces Haggeo, enviado de Jehová, habló por mandado de Jehová, al pueblo, diciendo: Yo soy con vosotros, dice Jehová.
Then spake Haggai the LORD’s messenger in the LORD’s message unto the people, saying, I am with you, saith the LORD.

Und der HERR erweckte den Geist Serubbabels, des Sohnes Sealtiels, des Statthalters von Juda, und den Geist Josuas, des Sohnes Jozadaks, des Hohenpriesters, auch den Geist des ganzen übrigen Volkes, daß sie kamen und ihre Arbeit am Hause des HERRN der Heerscharen, ihres Gottes, in Angriff nahmen
Y despertó Jehová el espíritu de Zorobabel hijo de Sealtiel, gobernador de Judá, y el espíritu de Josué hijo de Josadac, gran sacerdote, y el espíritu de todo el resto del pueblo; y vinieron é hicieron obra en la casa de Jehová de los ejércitos, su Dios,
And the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of the LORD of hosts, their God,
