am einundzwanzigsten Tage des siebten Monats erging das Wort des HERRN durch den Propheten Haggai folgendermaßen:

EN el mes séptimo, á los veinte y uno del mes, fué palabra de Jehová por mano del profeta Haggeo, diciendo:

In the seventh month, in the one and twentieth day of the month, came the word of the LORD by the prophet Haggai, saying,

In the seventh month, in the twenty-first day of the month, the LORD’s word came by Haggai the prophet, saying,

»Sage doch zu Serubbabel, dem Sohne Sealthiels, dem Statthalter von Juda, und zu dem Hohenpriester Josua, dem Sohne Jozadaks, und zu allen vom Volk Übriggebliebenen folgendes:

Habla ahora á Zorobabel hijo de Sealtiel, gobernador de Judá, y á Josué hijo de Josadac, gran sacerdote, y al resto del pueblo, diciendo:

Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and to the residue of the people, saying,

“Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and to the remnant of the people, saying,

›Wer ist unter euch noch am Leben, der diesen Tempel in seiner früheren Herrlichkeit gesehen hat, und wie seht ihr ihn heute? Nicht wahr? Wie nichts kommt er euch vor.

¿Quién ha quedado entre vosotros que haya visto esta casa en su primera gloria, y cual ahora la veis? ¿No es ella como nada delante de vuestros ojos?

Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing?

‘Who is left among you who saw this house in its former glory? How do you see it now? Isn’t it in your eyes as nothing?

Nun aber sei getrost, Serubbabel!‹ – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN – ›und sei getrost, Josua, Sohn Jozadaks, du Hoherpriester, und seid getrost ihr alle, die ihr das Volk des Landes bildet‹ – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN –, ›und arbeitet, denn ich bin mit euch!‹ – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN der Heerscharen.

Pues ahora, Zorobabel, esfuérzate, dice Jehová; esfuérzate también Josué, hijo de Josadac, gran sacerdote; y cobra ánimo, pueblo todo de la tierra, dice Jehová, y obrad: porque yo soy con vosotros, dice Jehová de los ejércitos.

Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts:

Yet now be strong, Zerubbabel,’ says the LORD. ‘Be strong, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people of the land,’ says the LORD, ‘and work, for I am with you,’ says the LORD of Armies.

›Die Verheißung, die ich euch bei eurem Auszug aus Ägypten feierlich gegeben habe, bleibt bestehen, und mein Geist waltet in eurer Mitte: fürchtet euch nicht!‹

Según el pacto que concerté con vosotros á vuestra salida de Egipto, así mi espíritu estará en medio de vosotros: no temáis.

According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.

This is the word that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, and my Spirit lived among you. ‘Don’t be afraid.’

Denn so spricht der HERR der Heerscharen: ›Nur noch †einmal eine kurze Zeit währt es; da werde ich den Himmel und die Erde, das Meer und das feste Land erschüttern,

Porque así dice Jehová de los ejércitos: De aquí á poco aun haré yo temblar los cielos y la tierra, y la mar y la seca:

For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;

For this is what the LORD of Armies says: ‘Yet once more, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, the earth, the sea, and the dry land;

und ich werde alle Völker in Bewegung setzen, daß die Kostbarkeiten aller Heidenvölker herbeigebracht werden; und ich will dieses Haus mit Herrlichkeit erfüllen!‹ – so spricht der HERR der Heerscharen.

Y haré temblar á todas las gentes, y vendrá el Deseado de todas las gentes; y henchiré esta casa de gloria, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos.

And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.

and I will shake all nations. The treasure of all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory, says the LORD of Armies.

›Mein ist das Silber und mein das Gold‹ – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN der Heerscharen.

Mía es la plata, y mío el oro, dice Jehová de los ejércitos.

The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.

The silver is mine, and the gold is mine,’ says the LORD of Armies.

›Größer wird die künftige Herrlichkeit dieses Tempels sein, als die des ersten gewesen ist‹ – so spricht der HERR der Heerscharen –, ›und an dieser Stätte will ich Frieden spenden‹ – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN der Heerscharen.«

La gloria de aquesta casa postrera será mayor que la de la primera, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos; y daré paz en este lugar, dice Jehová de los ejércitos.

The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.

‘The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,’ says the LORD of Armies; ‘and in this place I will give peace,’ says the LORD of Armies.”

Am vierundzwanzigsten Tage des neunten Monats, im zweiten Regierungsjahre des Darius, erging das Wort des HERRN durch den Propheten Haggai folgendermaßen:

A veinticuatro del noveno mes, en el segundo año de Darío, fué palabra de Jehová por mano del profeta Haggeo, diciendo:

In the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying,

In the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, the LORD’s word came by Haggai the prophet, saying,

»So spricht der HERR der Heerscharen: ›Erbitte dir doch von den Priestern Belehrung über folgende Frage:

Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: Pregunta ahora á los sacerdotes acerca de la ley, diciendo:

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying,

“The LORD of Armies says: Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying,

Wenn jemand heiliges Fleisch im Zipfel seines Gewandes trägt und mit seinem Zipfel Brot oder Gekochtes, Wein, Öl oder sonst irgend etwas Genießbares berührt: wird dieses dadurch heilig?‹« Da gaben die Priester zur Antwort: »Nein!«

Si llevare alguno las carnes sagradas en la falda de su ropa, y con el vuelo de ella tocare el pan, ó la vianda, ó el vino, ó el aceite, ú otra cualquier comida, ¿será santificado? Y respondieron los sacerdotes, y dijeron: No.

If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat, shall it be holy? And the priests answered and said, No.

‘If someone carries holy meat in the fold of his garment, and with his fold touches bread, stew, wine, oil, or any food, will it become holy?’” The priests answered, “No.”

Nun fragte Haggai weiter: »Wenn aber ein durch eine Leiche Verunreinigter irgendeins von derartigen Dingen berührt, wird es dadurch unrein?« Da gaben die Priester zur Antwort: »Ja, es wird unrein!«

Y dijo Haggeo: Si un inmundo á causa de cuerpo muerto tocare alguna cosa de éstas, ¿será inmunda? Y respondieron los sacerdotes, y dijeron: Inmunda será.

Then said Haggai, If one that is unclean by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.

Then Haggai said, “If one who is unclean by reason of a dead body touches any of these, will it be unclean?” The priests answered, “It will be unclean.”

Da erklärte Haggai folgendes: »›Ebenso steht es um diese Leute, und ebenso ist dieses Volk da in meinen Augen beschaffen‹ – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN –, ›und ebenso steht es mit allem Tun ihrer Hände und mit dem, was sie mir dort als Opfer darbringen: es ist unrein!‹«

Y respondió Haggeo y dijo: Así es este pueblo, y esta gente, delante de mí, dice Jehová; y asimismo toda obra de sus manos; y todo lo que aquí ofrecen es inmundo.

Then answered Haggai, and said, So is this people, and so is this nation before me, saith the LORD; and so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean.

Then Haggai answered, “‘So is this people, and so is this nation before me,’ says the LORD; ‘and so is every work of their hands. That which they offer there is unclean.

»Nun aber richtet doch eure Aufmerksamkeit vom heutigen Tage an (auf die Zeit) rückwärts! Bevor man Stein auf Stein am Tempel des HERRN gelegt hat:

Ahora pues, poned vuestro corazón desde este día en adelante, antes que pusiesen piedra sobre piedra en el templo de Jehová,

And now, I pray you, consider from this day and upward, from before a stone was laid upon a stone in the temple of the LORD:

Now, please consider from this day and backward, before a stone was laid on a stone in the LORD’s temple.

wie ist es euch da ergangen? Kam man damals zu einem Garbenhaufen von (vermutlich) zwanzig Scheffeln, so wurden es nur zehn; und kam einer zur Kelter in der Erwartung, fünfzig Eimer aus ihr zu schöpfen, so wurden es nur zwanzig.

Antes que fuesen estas cosas, venían al montón de veinte hanegas, y había diez; venían al lagar para sacar cincuenta cántaros del lagar, y había veinte.

Since those days were, when one came to an heap of twenty measures, there were but ten: when one came to the pressfat for to draw out fifty vessels out of the press, there were but twenty.

Through all that time, when one came to a heap of twenty measures, there were only ten. When one came to the wine vat to draw out fifty, there were only twenty.

›Ich habe euch mit Getreidebrand und Vergilben geschlagen und mit Hagel den Ertrag aller eurer Feldarbeit, und doch seid ihr nicht zu mir umgekehrt!‹ – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN.

Os herí con viento solano, y con tizoncillo, y con granizo en toda obra de vuestras manos; mas no os convertisteis á mí, dice Jehová.

I smote you with blasting and with mildew and with hail in all the labours of your hands; yet ye turned not to me, saith the LORD.

I struck you with blight, mildew, and hail in all the work of your hands; yet you didn’t turn to me,’ says the LORD.

Nun aber gebt acht auf das, was in der Folgezeit vom heutigen Tage an geschehen wird, nämlich vom vierundzwanzigsten Tage des neunten Monats an, von dem Tage an, wo der Grundstein zum Tempel des HERRN gelegt worden ist. Gebt acht darauf,

Pues poned ahora vuestro corazón desde este día en adelante, desde el día veinticuatro del noveno mes, desde el día que se echó el cimiento al templo de Jehová; poned vuestro corazón.

Consider now from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, even from the day that the foundation of the LORD’s temple was laid, consider it.

‘Consider, please, from this day and backward, from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, since the day that the foundation of the LORD’s temple was laid, consider it.

ob die Aussaat noch weiterhin im Speicher liegen bleibt und ob der Weinstock und Feigenbaum, die Granate und der Ölbaum auch fürderhin nicht tragen! Von diesem Tage an werde ich segnen.«

¿Aun no está la simiente en el granero? Ni la vid, ni la higuera, ni el granado, ni el árbol de la oliva ha todavía florecido: mas desde aqueste día daré bendición.

Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, hath not brought forth: from this day will I bless you.

Is the seed yet in the barn? Yes, the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree haven’t produced. From today I will bless you.’”

Hierauf erging das Wort des HERRN zum zweitenmal an Haggai am vierundzwanzigsten Tage des (gleichen) Monats folgendermaßen:

Y fué segunda vez palabra de Jehová á Haggeo, á los veinticuatro del mismo mes, diciendo:

And again the word of the LORD came unto Haggai in the four and twentieth day of the month, saying,

The LORD’s word came the second time to Haggai in the twenty-fourth day of the month, saying,

»Sage zu Serubbabel, dem Statthalter von Juda, folgendes: ›Ich werde den Himmel und die Erde erschüttern

Habla á Zorobabel, gobernador de Judá, diciendo: Yo haré temblar los cielos y la tierra;

Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth;

“Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, ‘I will shake the heavens and the earth.

und die Throne der Könige umstürzen und die Macht der heidnischen Königreiche vernichten, und zwar werde ich die Streitwagen umstürzen samt denen, die darauf fahren, und es sollen die Rosse samt ihren Reitern zu Boden stürzen, einer durch das Schwert des andern (fallen).

Y trastornaré el trono de los reinos, y destruiré la fuerza del reino de las gentes; y trastornaré el carro, y los que en él suben; y vendrán abajo los caballos, y los que en ellos montan, cada cual por la espada de su hermano.

And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.

I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms. I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the nations. I will overthrow the chariots and those who ride in them. The horses and their riders will come down, everyone by the sword of his brother.

An jenem Tage‹ – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN der Heerscharen – ›will ich dich, Serubbabel, Sohn Sealthiels, nehmen und dich zu meinem Knecht machen‹ – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN – ›und dich wie einen Siegelring halten; denn dich habe ich erwählt!‹ – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN der Heerscharen.«

En aquel día, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, te tomaré, oh Zorobabel, hijo de Sealtiel, siervo mío, dice Jehová, y ponerte he como anillo de sellar: porque yo te escogí, dice Jehová de los ejércitos.

In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the LORD, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith the LORD of hosts.

In that day, says the LORD of Armies, I will take you, Zerubbabel my servant, the son of Shealtiel,’ says the LORD, ‘and will make you like a signet ring, for I have chosen you,’ says the LORD of Armies.”
