Wieviel meinet ihr, argere Strafe wird der verdienen, der den Sohn Gottes mit Fußen tritt und das Blut des Testaments unrein achtet, durch welches er geheiliget ist, und den Geist der Gnaden schmahet?
¿Cuánto pensáis que será más digno de mayor castigo, el que hollare al Hijo de Dios, y tuviere por inmunda la sangre del testamento, en la cual fué santificado, é hiciere afrenta al Espíritu de gracia?
Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

Denn wir wissen den, der da sagte: Die Rache ist mein; ich will vergelten, spricht der Herr. Und abermal: Der Herr wird sein Volk richten.

Wir aber sind nicht von denen, die da weichen und verdammtwerden, sondern von denen, die da glauben und die Seele erretten.

But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
