Hebreos 10

O antigo sistema das leis judaicas deu apenas uma fraca amostra das coisas boas que Cristo faria por nós. Nesse antigo sistema, os sacrifícios se repetiam muitas vezes, ano após ano, porém mesmo assim eles nunca puderam salvar aqueles que viviam debaixo desses regulamentos.

PORQUE la ley, teniendo la sombra de los bienes venideros, no la imagen misma de las cosas, nunca puede, por los mismos sacrificios que ofrecen continuamente cada año, hacer perfectos á los que se allegan.

For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.

For the law, having a shadow of the good to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect those who draw near.

Se isso fosse possível, uma oferta só teria sido suficiente; os adoradores teriam sido purificados de uma vez por todas, e seu sentimento de culpa teria desaparecido.

De otra manera cesarían de ofrecerse; porque los que tributan este culto, limpios de una vez, no tendrían más conciencia de pecado.

For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.

Or else wouldn’t they have ceased to be offered, because the worshipers, having been once cleansed, would have had no more consciousness of sins?

Mas aconteceu justamente o contrário: aqueles sacrifícios anuais lembravam-lhes a desobediência e a culpa deles, em vez de aliviá-los.

Empero en estos sacrificios cada año se hace conmemoración de los pecados.

But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.

But in those sacrifices there is a yearly reminder of sins.

Porque é impossível que o sangue de touros e de bodes tire pecados.

Porque la sangre de los toros y de los machos cabríos no puede quitar los pecados.

For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

For it is impossible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins.

Foi por isso que Cristo disse, quando veio ao mundo: “Ó Deus, o Senhor não quer sangue de animais ou ofertas de cereais, mas o Senhor me preparou um corpo, a fim de que eu o deposite como sacrifício sobre o seu altar.

Por lo cual, entrando en el mundo, dice: Sacrificio y presente no quisiste; mas me apropiaste cuerpo:

Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:

Therefore when he comes into the world, he says, “You didn’t desire sacrifice and offering, but you prepared a body for me.

O Senhor não se satisfez com o sacrifício dos animais mortos e queimados como ofertas pelo pecado.

Holocaustos y expiaciones por el pecado no te agradaron.

In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.

You had no pleasure in whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin.

Então eu disse: ‘Eis que eu vim para depositar a minha vida, justamente como está escrito no livro a meu respeito. Vim para fazer a sua vontade, ó Deus’ ”.

Entonces dije: Heme aquí (en la cabecera del libro está escrito de mí) para que haga, oh Dios, tu voluntad.

Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come (in the scroll of the book it is written of me) to do your will, O God.’”

Depois que Cristo disse isso, a respeito de não ficar satisfeito com os vários sacrifícios e ofertas que o antigo sistema exigia,

Diciendo arriba: Sacrificio y presente, y holocaustos y expiaciones por el pecado no quisiste, ni te agradaron, (las cuales cosas se ofrecen según la ley,)

Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;

Previously saying, “Sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin you didn’t desire, neither had pleasure in them” (those which are offered according to the law),

acrescentou: “Aqui estou; vim para fazer a sua vontade”. Ele cancela o primeiro sistema em favor de outro muito melhor.

Entonces dijo: Heme aquí para que haga, oh Dios, tu voluntad. Quita lo primero, para establecer lo postrero.

Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.

then he has said, “Behold, I have come to do your will.” He takes away the first, that he may establish the second,

Neste novo plano nós fomos perdoados e purificados pelo sacrifício de Jesus Cristo, ao morrer por nós uma vez por todas.

En la cual voluntad somos santificados por la ofrenda del cuerpo de Jesucristo hecha una sola vez.

By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

by which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Segundo a antiga aliança, os sacerdotes permaneciam diante do altar dia após dia, oferecendo sacrifícios que jamais podiam tirar os nossos pecados.

Así que, todo sacerdote se presenta cada día ministrando y ofreciendo muchas veces los mismos sacrificios, que nunca pueden quitar los pecados:

And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:

Every priest indeed stands day by day serving and offering often the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins,

Mas quando esse sacerdote entregou-se a si mesmo a Deus pelos nossos pecados, como um único sacrifício duma vez para sempre, assentou-se no lugar de maior honra à direita de Deus,

Pero éste, habiendo ofrecido por los pecados un solo sacrificio para siempre, está sentado á la diestra de Dios,

But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

but he, when he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God,

esperando que os seus inimigos sejam postos debaixo dos seus pés.

Esperando lo que resta, hasta que sus enemigos sean puestos por estrado de sus pies.

From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.

from that time waiting until his enemies are made the footstool of his feet.

Pois, por meio daquele único sacrifício, ele tornou perfeitos para sempre aos olhos de Deus todos quantos ele está santificando.

Porque con una sola ofrenda hizo perfectos para siempre á los santificados.

For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

For by one offering he has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.

E o Espírito Santo também testifica que isso é assim, porque ele disse:

Y atestíguanos lo mismo el Espíritu Santo; que después que dijo:

Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,

The Holy Spirit also testifies to us, for after saying,

“Esta é a aliança que eu farei com o povo de Israel, embora eles tenham rompido a primeira aliança, diz o Senhor. Porei as minhas leis em seus corações e as escreverei em suas mentes”.

Y este es el pacto que haré con ellos después de aquellos días, dice el Señor: Daré mis leyes en sus corazones, y en sus almas las escribiré;

This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

“This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days,” says the Lord, “I will put my laws on their heart, I will also write them on their mind;” then he says,

E depois ele acrescenta: “Nunca mais me lembrarei dos seus pecados nem das suas maldades”.

Añade: Y nunca más me acordaré de sus pecados é iniquidades.

And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

“I will remember their sins and their iniquities no more.”

Ora, onde os pecados já foram perdoados de uma vez para sempre, não há necessidade de oferecer mais sacrifícios por eles.

Pues donde hay remisión de éstos, no hay más ofrenda por pecado.

Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

E assim, queridos irmãos, por causa do sangue de Jesus, nós agora podemos entrar no Santo dos Santos.

Así que, hermanos, teniendo libertad para entrar en el santuario por la sangre de Jesucristo,

Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,

Este é o caminho novo, recém-aberto e vivificante que Cristo nos franqueou por meio da cortina, isto é, do seu corpo humano.

Por el camino que él nos consagró nuevo y vivo, por el velo, esto es, por su carne;

By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh,

E, visto que esse nosso grande sumo sacerdote governa sobre a casa de Deus,

Y teniendo un gran sacerdote sobre la casa de Dios,

And having an high priest over the house of God;

and having a great priest over God’s house,

vamos diretamente ao próprio Deus, com o coração sincero e uma fé firme, com a consciência limpa da culpa, confiando plenamente que ele nos receberá, porque o sangue de Cristo já foi salpicado em nós para nos purificar, e porque já fomos lavados com a água pura.

Lleguémonos con corazón verdadero, en plena certidumbre de fe, purificados los corazones de mala conciencia, y lavados los cuerpos con agua limpia.

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

let’s draw near with a true heart in fullness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and having our body washed with pure water,

Agora podemos aguardar a salvação que Deus nos prometeu. Já não há mais lugar para a dúvida, pois aquele que prometeu é fiel.

Mantengamos firme la profesión de nuestra fe sin fluctuar; que fiel es el que prometió:

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

let’s hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful.

Em reconhecimento por tudo quanto ele fez por nós, vamos procurar animar uns aos outros a sermos amorosos e praticarmos o bem.

Y considerémonos los unos á los otros para provocarnos al amor y á las buenas obras;

And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works,

Não descuidemos dos nossos deveres na igreja, nem das suas reuniões, como algumas pessoas fazem, mas animemo-nos e nos admoestemos uns aos outros, especialmente agora que o dia da sua volta está se aproximando.

No dejando nuestra congregación, como algunos tienen por costumbre, mas exhortándonos; y tanto más, cuanto veis que aquel día se acerca.

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

Se alguém viver deliberadamente em pecado, depois de ter conhecido a verdade, nenhum outro sacrifício poderá solucionar essa situação.

Porque si pecáremos voluntariamente después de haber recibido el conocimiento de la verdad, ya no queda sacrificio por el pecado.

For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more a sacrifice for sins,

Restará apenas uma terrível expectativa de juízo e de fogo intenso que destruirá todos os inimigos de Deus.

Sino una horrenda esperanza de juicio, y hervor de fuego que ha de devorar á los adversarios.

But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fierceness of fire which will devour the adversaries.

O homem que se recusasse a obedecer às leis dadas por Moisés era morto sem misericórdia se houvesse duas ou três testemunhas do seu pecado.

El que menospreciare la ley de Moisés, por el testimonio de dos ó de tres testigos muere sin ninguna misericordia:

He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

A man who disregards Moses’ law dies without compassion on the word of two or three witnesses.

Imaginem como será muito mais terrível o castigo daqueles que desprezaram o Filho de Deus e trataram o sangue purificador da aliança como se fosse comum e profano, e insultaram o Espírito Santo, que traz a graça de Deus ao seu povo.

¿Cuánto pensáis que será más digno de mayor castigo, el que hollare al Hijo de Dios, y tuviere por inmunda la sangre del testamento, en la cual fué santificado, é hiciere afrenta al Espíritu de gracia?

Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

How much worse punishment do you think he will be judged worthy of who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?

Porque conhecemos aquele que disse: “A vingança me pertence; eles receberão a minha retribuição”; e aquele que disse também: “O Senhor mesmo julgará o seu povo”.

Sabemos quién es el que dijo: Mía es la venganza, yo daré el pago, dice el Señor. Y otra vez: El Señor juzgará su pueblo.

For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

For we know him who said, “Vengeance belongs to me. I will repay,” says the Lord. Again, “The Lord will judge his people.”

É uma coisa terrível cair nas mãos do Deus vivo.

Horrenda cosa es caer en las manos del Dios vivo.

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Não se esqueçam nunca daqueles dias maravilhosos, quando vocês ouviram de Cristo pela primeira vez. Lembrem-se de como vocês perseveraram no Senhor, mesmo que isso significasse muita luta e sofrimento.

Empero traed á la memoria los días pasados, en los cuales, después de haber sido iluminados, sufristeis gran combate de aflicciones:

But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;

But remember the former days, in which, after you were enlightened, you endured a great struggle with sufferings:

Algumas vezes vocês foram escarnecidos e passaram por tribulações, e outras vezes vocês acompanharam e sofreram juntamente com outros que estavam padecendo as mesmas coisas.

Por una parte, ciertamente, con vituperios y tribulaciones fuisteis hechos espectáculo; y por otra parte hechos compañeros de los que estaban en tal estado.

Partly, whilst ye were made a gazingstock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst ye became companions of them that were so used.

partly, being exposed to both reproaches and oppressions, and partly, becoming partakers with those who were treated so.

Vocês sofreram com aqueles que foram jogados na prisão, e ficaram realmente alegres quando tudo o que vocês possuíam foi-lhes tirado, sabendo que coisas melhores os estavam esperando no céu, bens superiores e permanentes.

Porque de mis prisiones también os resentisteis conmigo, y el robo de vuestros bienes padecisteis con gozo, conociendo que tenéis en vosotros una mejor sustancia en los cielos, y que permanece.

For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.

For you both had compassion on me in my chains and joyfully accepted the plundering of your possessions, knowing that you have for yourselves a better possession and an enduring one in the heavens.

Haja o que houver, não deixem desfalecer a sua confiança no Senhor. Lembrem-se que vocês serão ricamente recompensados!

No perdáis pues vuestra confianza, que tiene grande remuneración de galardón:

Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

Therefore don’t throw away your boldness, which has a great reward.

Vocês precisam continuar fazendo com toda a paciência a vontade de Deus, se quiserem receber tudo quanto lhes prometeu.

Porque la paciencia os es necesaria; para que, habiendo hecho la voluntad de Dios, obtengáis la promesa.

For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

For you need endurance so that, having done the will of God, you may receive the promise.

Pois, como ele diz nas Escrituras: “Um pouco mais de tempo, e virá aquele que há de vir; ele não vai demorar.

Porque aun un poquito, y el que ha de venir vendrá, y no tardará.

For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

“In a very little while, he who comes will come and will not wait.

E aqueles cuja fé os tornou justos aos olhos de Deus devem viver pela fé, confiando nele em tudo. Do contrário, se eles recuarem, Deus não terá prazer neles”.

Ahora el justo vivirá por fe; mas si se retirare, no agradará á mi alma.

Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

But the righteous one will live by faith. If he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.”

Nós, porém, nunca demos as costas a Deus para decretarmos a nossa própria destruição. Nós somos dos que creem e são salvos.

Pero nosotros no somos tales que nos retiremos para perdición, sino fieles para ganancia del alma.

But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

But we are not of those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith to the saving of the soul.
