Abraão fez isso porque estava esperando que Deus o levaria àquela cidade celestial que tem alicerces, cujo arquiteto e construtor é Deus.

Porque esperaba ciudad con fundamentos, el artífice y hacedor de la cual es Dios.

For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

For he was looking for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
