Por la fe celebró la Pascua , e hizo aquella aspersión de la sangre del cordero; a fin de que no tocase a los suyos el ángel exterminador, que iba matando a los primogénitos de los egipcios.

Por fe dejó á Egipto, no temiendo la ira del rey; porque se sostuvo como viendo al Invisible.
