Pela fé celebrou a Páscoa, ordenando que matassem um cordeiro, como Deus lhes dissera que fizessem, e salpicassem o sangue sobre os umbrais das portas de suas casas, a fim de que o Anjo da Morte não tocasse no filho mais velho dos israelitas.
