Et quoiqu’ils aient tous été recommandables par leur foi, ils n’ont pourtant point reçu l’effet de la promesse ;

Y todos éstos, aprobados por testimonio de la fe, no recibieron la promesa;

And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:

These all, having been commended for their faith, didn’t receive the promise,
