Jene züchtigen uns nach Gutdünken eine kurze Zeit, Er aber zu unserem Besten, auf daß wir Teil hätten an Seiner Heiligung.

Y aquéllos, á la verdad, por pocos días nos castigaban como á ellos les parecía, mas éste para lo que nos es provechoso, para que recibamos su santificación.

For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
