car le Seigneur châtie celui qu’il aime, et il frappe de la verge tous ceux qu’il reconnaît pour ses fils.

Porque el Señor al que ama castiga, y azota á cualquiera que recibe por hijo.

For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

for whom the Lord loves, he disciplines, and chastises every son whom he receives.”
