Hebreos 12

Ainsi donc, nous aussi, puisque nous sommes entourés d'une si grande nuée de témoins, ayant rejeté tout fardeau et le péché qui nous enveloppe aisément, poursuivons avec persévérance la course qui nous est proposée,

POR tanto nosotros también, teniendo en derredor nuestro una tan grande nube de testigos, dejando todo el peso del pecado que nos rodea, corramos con paciencia la carrera que nos es propuesta,

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Therefore let’s also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let’s run with perseverance the race that is set before us,

les regards arrêtés sur Jésus, le chef et le consommateur de la foi ; qui, en vue de la joie qui lui était proposée, a souffert la croix, ayant méprisé la honte, et s'est assis à la droite du trône de Dieu.

Puestos los ojos en al autor y consumador de la fe, en Jesús; el cual, habiéndole sido propuesto gozo, sufrió la cruz, menospreciando la vergüenza, y sentóse á la diestra del trono de Dios.

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Considérez en effet Celui qui a souffert de la part des pécheurs une si grande contradiction contre lui-même, afin que vous ne vous laissiez pas abattre, étant découragés dans vos âmes.

Reducid pues á vuestro pensamiento á aquel que sufrió tal contradicción de pecadores contra sí mismo, porque no os fatiguéis en vuestros ánimos desmayando.

For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

For consider him who has endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, that you don’t grow weary, fainting in your souls.

Vous n'avez pas encore résisté jusqu'au sang, en combattant contre le péché.

Que aun no habéis resistido hasta la sangre, combatiendo contra el pecado:

Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

You have not yet resisted to blood, striving against sin.

Et vous avez oublié l'exhortation qui vous dit comme à des fils : Mon fils, ne méprise pas la correction du Seigneur, et ne perds point courage, lorsqu'il te reprend.

Y estáis ya olvidados de la exhortación que como con hijos habla con vosotros, diciendo: Hijo mío, no menosprecies el castigo del Señor, ni desmayes cuando eres de él reprendido.

And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:

You have forgotten the exhortation which reasons with you as with children, “My son, don’t take lightly the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are reproved by him;

Car celui que le Seigneur aime, il le corrige, et il frappe de verges tout fils qu'il reconnaît pour sien.

Porque el Señor al que ama castiga, y azota á cualquiera que recibe por hijo.

For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

for whom the Lord loves, he disciplines, and chastises every son whom he receives.”

C'est pour être corrigés que vous souffrez ; c'est comme des fils que Dieu vous traite, car quel est le fils qu'un père ne corrige pas ?

Si sufrís el castigo, Dios se os presenta como á hijos; porque ¿qué hijo es aquel á quien el padre no castiga?

If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

It is for discipline that you endure. God deals with you as with children, for what son is there whom his father doesn’t discipline?

Mais si vous êtes exempts de la correction à laquelle tous ont part, vous êtes donc des enfants illégitimes, et non des fils.

Mas si estáis fuera del castigo, del cual todos han sido hechos participantes, luego sois bastardos, y no hijos.

But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

But if you are without discipline, of which all have been made partakers, then you are illegitimate, and not children.

D'ailleurs, puisque nos pères selon la chair nous corrigeaient et que nous les respections, ne serons-nous pas beaucoup plutôt soumis au Père des esprits, et nous vivrons !

Por otra parte, tuvimos por castigadores á los padres de nuestra carne, y los reverenciábamos, ¿por qué no obedeceremos mucho mejor al Padre de los espíritus, y viviremos?

Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

Furthermore, we had the fathers of our flesh to chasten us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live?

Car eux nous corrigeaient pour peu de jours, comme ils le trouvaient bon ; mais lui le fait pour notre profit, afin que nous participions à sa sainteté.

Y aquéllos, á la verdad, por pocos días nos castigaban como á ellos les parecía, mas éste para lo que nos es provechoso, para que recibamos su santificación.

For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.

For they indeed for a few days disciplined us as seemed good to them, but he for our profit, that we may be partakers of his holiness.

Toute correction, il est vrai, semble au premier moment non un sujet de joie, mais de tristesse ; mais plus tard elle rapporte à ceux qui ont été exercés par elle un fruit paisible de justice.

Es verdad que ningún castigo al presente parece ser causa de gozo, sino de tristeza; mas después da fruto apacible de justicia á los que en él son ejercitados.

Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

All chastening seems for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

C'est pourquoi redressez les mains languissantes, et les genoux fléchissants ;

Por lo cual alzad las manos caídas y las rodillas paralizadas;

Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;

Therefore lift up the hands that hang down and the feeble knees,

et faites à vos pieds des sentiers droits, afin que ce qui est boiteux ne se dévoie pas, mais que plutôt il soit guéri.

Y haced derechos pasos á vuestros pies, porque lo que es cojo no salga fuera de camino, antes sea sanado.

And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.

and make straight paths for your feet, so what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.

Recherchez la paix avec tous, et la sanctification, sans laquelle personne ne verra le Seigneur ;

Seguid la paz con todos, y la santidad, sin la cual nadie verá al Señor:

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man will see the Lord,

veillant à ce que personne ne soit dépourvu de la grâce de Dieu ; à ce qu'aucune racine d'amertume poussant des rejetons ne produise du trouble, et que par elle le grand nombre ne soient souillés ;

Mirando bien que ninguno se aparte de la gracia de Dios, que ninguna raíz de amargura brotando os impida, y por ella muchos sean contaminados;

Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you and many be defiled by it,

à ce que personne ne soit fornicateur ou profane comme Esaü, qui, pour un seul mets, vendit son droit d'aînesse.

Que ninguno sea fornicario, ó profano, como Esaú, que por una vianda vendió su primogenitura.

Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.

lest there be any sexually immoral person or profane person, like Esau, who sold his birthright for one meal.

Car vous savez que, même après cela, voulant hériter de la bénédiction, il fut rejeté : car il ne put trouver la place d'un changement d'idée quoiqu'il le recherchât avec larmes.

Porque ya sabéis que aun después, deseando heredar la bendición, fué reprobado (que no halló lugar de arrepentimiento), aunque la procuró con lágrimas.

For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

For you know that even when he afterward desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for a change of mind though he sought it diligently with tears.

Car vous ne vous êtes pas approchés de quelque chose qu'on pût toucher, ni d'un feu brûlant, ni de l'obscurité, ni des ténèbres, ni de la tempête ;

Porque no os habéis llegado al monte que se podía tocar, y al fuego encendido, y al turbión, y á la oscuridad, y á la tempestad,

For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,

For you have not come to a mountain that might be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness, darkness, storm,

ni du son de la trompette, ni de la voix des paroles, telle que ceux qui l'entendirent prièrent que pas une parole de plus ne leur fût adressée ;

Y al sonido de la trompeta, y á la voz de las palabras, la cual los que la oyeron rogaron que no se les hablase más;

And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:

the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which those who heard it begged that not one more word should be spoken to them,

car ils ne supportaient pas ce qui était ordonné : Si même une bête touche la montagne, elle sera lapidée.

Porque no podían tolerar lo que se mandaba: Si bestia tocare al monte, será apedreada, ó pasada con dardo.

(For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:

for they could not stand that which was commanded, “If even an animal touches the mountain, it shall be stoned”.

Et si terrible était ce qui apparaissait, que Moïse dit : Je suis épouvanté et tout tremblant.

Y tan terrible cosa era lo que se veía, que Moisés dijo: Estoy asombrado y temblando.

And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)

So fearful was the appearance that Moses said, “I am terrified and trembling.”

Mais vous vous êtes approchés de la montagne de Sion et de la cité du Dieu vivant, la Jérusalem céleste, et des myriades d'anges, assemblée de fête,

Mas os habéis llegado al monte de Sión, y á la ciudad del Dios vivo, Jerusalem la celestial, y á la compañía de muchos millares de ángeles,

But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable multitudes of angels,

et de l'Eglise des premiers-nés qui sont inscrits dans les cieux, et d'un juge qui est Dieu de tous ; et des esprits des justes parvenus à la perfection,

Y á la congregación de los primogénitos que están alistados en los cielos, y á Dios el Juez de todos, y á los espíritus de los justos hechos perfectos,

To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

to the festal gathering and assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect,

et de Jésus, médiateur de la nouvelle Alliance, et du sang de l'aspersion, qui prononce quelque chose de meilleur que le sang d'Abel.

Y á Jesús el Mediador del nuevo testamento, y á la sangre del esparcimiento que habla mejor que la de Abel.

And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Prenez garde de refuser d'entendre Celui qui parle ; car si ceux-là n'ont point échappé, ayant refusé d'entendre Celui qui se révélait sur la terre, combien moins échapperons-nous, si nous nous détournons de Celui qui se révèle du haut des cieux,

Mirad que no desechéis al que habla. Porque si aquellos no escaparon que desecharon al que hablaba en la tierra, mucho menos nosotros, si desecháramos al que habla de los cielos.

See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:

See that you don’t refuse him who speaks. For if they didn’t escape when they refused him who warned on the earth, how much more will we not escape who turn away from him who warns from heaven,

lui, dont la voix alors ébranla la terre, et qui maintenant a promis disant : Une fois encore j'ébranlerai, non seulement la terre, mais aussi le ciel.

La voz del cual entonces conmovió la tierra; mas ahora ha denunciado, diciendo: Aun una vez, y yo conmoveré no solamente la tierra, mas aun el cielo.

Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

Or ces mots : Une fois encore, indiquent le changement des choses ébranlées, comme ayant été créées, afin que celles qui ne sont point ébranlées subsistent.

Y esta palabra, Aun una vez, declara la mudanza de las cosas movibles, como de cosas hechas, para que queden las cosas que son firmes.

And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

This phrase, “Yet once more” signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that have been made, that those things which are not shaken may remain.

C'est pourquoi, recevant un royaume inébranlable, ayons de la reconnaissance, par laquelle nous rendions à Dieu un culte qui lui soit agréable, avec respect et avec crainte ;

Así que, tomando el reino inmóvil, retengamos la gracia por la cual sirvamos á Dios agradándole con temor y reverencia;

Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

Therefore, receiving a Kingdom that can’t be shaken, let’s have grace, through which we serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe,

car aussi notre Dieu est un feu dévorant.

Porque nuestro Dios es fuego consumidor.

For our God is a consuming fire.
