Hebreos 12

So wollen denn auch wir, da wir uns von einer solchen Wolke von Zeugen umgeben sehen, alles, was uns beschwert, und (besonders) die uns so leicht umstrickende Sünde ablegen und mit standhafter Ausdauer in dem uns obliegenden Wettkampfe laufen,

POR tanto nosotros también, teniendo en derredor nuestro una tan grande nube de testigos, dejando todo el peso del pecado que nos rodea, corramos con paciencia la carrera que nos es propuesta,

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Therefore let’s also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let’s run with perseverance the race that is set before us,

indem wir dabei hinblicken auf Jesus, den Anfänger und Vollender des Glaubens, der um den Preis der Freude, die ihn (als Siegeslohn) erwartete, den Kreuzestod erduldet und die Schmach für nichts geachtet, dann sich aber zur Rechten des Thrones Gottes gesetzt hat.

Puestos los ojos en al autor y consumador de la fe, en Jesús; el cual, habiéndole sido propuesto gozo, sufrió la cruz, menospreciando la vergüenza, y sentóse á la diestra del trono de Dios.

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Ja, denkt an ihn, der ein derartiges Widersprechen von den Sündern gegen sich geduldig ertragen hat, damit ihr (im Lauf) nicht ermattet und euren Mut nicht sinken laßt!

Reducid pues á vuestro pensamiento á aquel que sufrió tal contradicción de pecadores contra sí mismo, porque no os fatiguéis en vuestros ánimos desmayando.

For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

For consider him who has endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, that you don’t grow weary, fainting in your souls.

Denn bis jetzt habt ihr im Kampf gegen die Sünde noch nicht bis aufs Blut Widerstand geleistet

Que aun no habéis resistido hasta la sangre, combatiendo contra el pecado:

Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

You have not yet resisted to blood, striving against sin.

und habt das Mahnwort vergessen, das zu euch wie zu Söhnen spricht: »Mein Sohn, achte die Züchtigung des Herrn nicht gering und verzage nicht, wenn du von ihm zurechtgewiesen wirst;

Y estáis ya olvidados de la exhortación que como con hijos habla con vosotros, diciendo: Hijo mío, no menosprecies el castigo del Señor, ni desmayes cuando eres de él reprendido.

And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:

You have forgotten the exhortation which reasons with you as with children, “My son, don’t take lightly the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are reproved by him;

denn wen der Herr lieb hat, den züchtigt er und geißelt jeden Sohn, den er als den seinigen annimmt.«

Porque el Señor al que ama castiga, y azota á cualquiera que recibe por hijo.

For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

for whom the Lord loves, he disciplines, and chastises every son whom he receives.”

Haltet standhaft aus, um euch erziehen zu lassen! Gott verfährt mit euch wie mit Söhnen; denn wo wäre wohl ein Sohn, den sein Vater nicht züchtigt?

Si sufrís el castigo, Dios se os presenta como á hijos; porque ¿qué hijo es aquel á quien el padre no castiga?

If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

It is for discipline that you endure. God deals with you as with children, for what son is there whom his father doesn’t discipline?

Wenn ihr dagegen ohne Züchtigung bliebet, die doch allen (anderen Söhnen) zuteil geworden ist, so wäret ihr ja unechte Kinder und keine Söhne.

Mas si estáis fuera del castigo, del cual todos han sido hechos participantes, luego sois bastardos, y no hijos.

But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

But if you are without discipline, of which all have been made partakers, then you are illegitimate, and not children.

Ferner (bedenkt): wir haben doch unter der Zucht unserer leiblichen Väter gestanden und ihnen Ehrerbietung erwiesen; wollten wir uns da nicht viel eher dem Vater der Geister unterwerfen und dadurch zum Leben gelangen?

Por otra parte, tuvimos por castigadores á los padres de nuestra carne, y los reverenciábamos, ¿por qué no obedeceremos mucho mejor al Padre de los espíritus, y viviremos?

Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

Furthermore, we had the fathers of our flesh to chasten us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live?

Denn jene haben doch nur für kurze Zeit nach ihrem Ermessen Zucht (an uns) geübt, er aber zu unserm wahren Besten, damit wir seiner Heiligkeit teilhaftig würden.

Y aquéllos, á la verdad, por pocos días nos castigaban como á ellos les parecía, mas éste para lo que nos es provechoso, para que recibamos su santificación.

For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.

For they indeed for a few days disciplined us as seemed good to them, but he for our profit, that we may be partakers of his holiness.

Jede Züchtigung scheint uns freilich für den Augenblick nicht erfreulich, sondern betrübend zu sein; hinterher aber läßt sie denen, die sich durch sie haben üben lassen, die friedvolle Frucht der Gerechtigkeit erwachsen.

Es verdad que ningún castigo al presente parece ser causa de gozo, sino de tristeza; mas después da fruto apacible de justicia á los que en él son ejercitados.

Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

All chastening seems for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

Darum »richtet die erschlafften Hände und die ermatteten Knie wieder auf«

Por lo cual alzad las manos caídas y las rodillas paralizadas;

Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;

Therefore lift up the hands that hang down and the feeble knees,

und »stellt für eure Füße gerade Bahnen her«, damit das Lahme nicht ganz vom rechten Wege abkomme, sondern vielmehr geheilt werde.

Y haced derechos pasos á vuestros pies, porque lo que es cojo no salga fuera de camino, antes sea sanado.

And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.

and make straight paths for your feet, so what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.

Trachtet eifrig nach dem Frieden mit jedermann und nach der Heiligung, ohne die niemand den Herrn schauen wird;

Seguid la paz con todos, y la santidad, sin la cual nadie verá al Señor:

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man will see the Lord,

und gebt acht darauf, daß niemand hinter der Gnade Gottes zurückbleibe, daß keine »Wurzel voll Bitterkeit« aufwachse und Unheil anrichte und gar viele durch sie befleckt werden;

Mirando bien que ninguno se aparte de la gracia de Dios, que ninguna raíz de amargura brotando os impida, y por ella muchos sean contaminados;

Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you and many be defiled by it,

daß niemand ein ehebrecherischer oder verworfener Mensch sei wie Esau, der für eine einzige Mahlzeit sein Erstgeburtsrecht verkauft hat.

Que ninguno sea fornicario, ó profano, como Esaú, que por una vianda vendió su primogenitura.

Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.

lest there be any sexually immoral person or profane person, like Esau, who sold his birthright for one meal.

Ihr wißt ja, daß er auch später, als er den Segen zum Erbe erlangen wollte, abgewiesen wurde; denn er fand keinen Raum zu einer Gesinnungsumkehr, obgleich er sie unter Tränen suchte.

Porque ya sabéis que aun después, deseando heredar la bendición, fué reprobado (que no halló lugar de arrepentimiento), aunque la procuró con lágrimas.

For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

For you know that even when he afterward desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for a change of mind though he sought it diligently with tears.

Denn ihr seid nicht zu einem mit Händen greifbaren und im Feuer lodernden Berge herangetreten, nicht zu Wolkendunkel, Finsternis und Gewittersturm,

Porque no os habéis llegado al monte que se podía tocar, y al fuego encendido, y al turbión, y á la oscuridad, y á la tempestad,

For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,

For you have not come to a mountain that might be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness, darkness, storm,

nicht zu Posaunenschall und Donnerworten, bei denen die Zuhörer die Bitte aussprachen, es möchte nicht weiter zu ihnen geredet werden –

Y al sonido de la trompeta, y á la voz de las palabras, la cual los que la oyeron rogaron que no se les hablase más;

And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:

the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which those who heard it begged that not one more word should be spoken to them,

sie konnten nämlich die Verordnung nicht ertragen: »Selbst ein Tier, das den Berg berührt, soll gesteinigt werden!« –;

Porque no podían tolerar lo que se mandaba: Si bestia tocare al monte, será apedreada, ó pasada con dardo.

(For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:

for they could not stand that which was commanded, “If even an animal touches the mountain, it shall be stoned”.

ja, so furchtbar war die Erscheinung, daß (sogar) Mose erklärte: »Ich bin voller Furcht und Zittern!«

Y tan terrible cosa era lo que se veía, que Moisés dijo: Estoy asombrado y temblando.

And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)

So fearful was the appearance that Moses said, “I am terrified and trembling.”

Nein, ihr seid zu dem Berge Zion und zur Stadt des lebendigen Gottes, dem himmlischen Jerusalem, herangetreten und zu vielen Tausenden von Engeln, zu einer Festversammlung

Mas os habéis llegado al monte de Sión, y á la ciudad del Dios vivo, Jerusalem la celestial, y á la compañía de muchos millares de ángeles,

But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable multitudes of angels,

und zur Gemeinde der im Himmel aufgeschriebenen Erstgeborenen und zu Gott, dem Richter über alle, und zu den Geistern der vollendeten Gerechten,

Y á la congregación de los primogénitos que están alistados en los cielos, y á Dios el Juez de todos, y á los espíritus de los justos hechos perfectos,

To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

to the festal gathering and assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect,

und zu Jesus, dem Mittler des neuen Bundes, und zum Blute der Besprengung, das Besseres redet als (das Blut) Abels.

Y á Jesús el Mediador del nuevo testamento, y á la sangre del esparcimiento que habla mejor que la de Abel.

And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Hütet euch, daß ihr den nicht ablehnt, der (zu euch) redet! Denn wenn jene nicht ungestraft geblieben sind, die den ablehnten, der sich ihnen auf Erden kundgab: wieviel weniger werden wir dann davonkommen, wenn wir uns von dem abwenden, der vom Himmel her (zu uns redet)!

Mirad que no desechéis al que habla. Porque si aquellos no escaparon que desecharon al que hablaba en la tierra, mucho menos nosotros, si desecháramos al que habla de los cielos.

See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:

See that you don’t refuse him who speaks. For if they didn’t escape when they refused him who warned on the earth, how much more will we not escape who turn away from him who warns from heaven,

Seine Stimme hat damals die Erde erschüttert; jetzt aber hat er diese Verheißung gegeben: »Noch einmal werde ich nicht nur die Erde, sondern auch den Himmel erbeben machen.«

La voz del cual entonces conmovió la tierra; mas ahora ha denunciado, diciendo: Aun una vez, y yo conmoveré no solamente la tierra, mas aun el cielo.

Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

Das Wort »noch einmal« weist auf die Umwandlung dessen hin, das erschüttert wird, weil es etwas Geschaffenes ist; es soll eben etwas Bleibendes entstehen, das nicht erschüttert werden kann.

Y esta palabra, Aun una vez, declara la mudanza de las cosas movibles, como de cosas hechas, para que queden las cosas que son firmes.

And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

This phrase, “Yet once more” signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that have been made, that those things which are not shaken may remain.

Darum wollen wir, weil wir ein unerschütterliches Reich empfangen sollen, dankbar dafür sein; denn dadurch dienen wir Gott so, wie es ihm wohlgefällig ist, mit frommer Scheu und Furcht;

Así que, tomando el reino inmóvil, retengamos la gracia por la cual sirvamos á Dios agradándole con temor y reverencia;

Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

Therefore, receiving a Kingdom that can’t be shaken, let’s have grace, through which we serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe,

denn auch unser Gott ist ein verzehrendes Feuer.

Porque nuestro Dios es fuego consumidor.

For our God is a consuming fire.
