Hebreos 12

Portanto, uma vez que estamos rodeados por uma tão grande nuvem de testemunhas, rejeitemos todo o peso e o pecado que facilmente nos assedia. Corramos pacientemente a corrida que está diante de nós

POR tanto nosotros también, teniendo en derredor nuestro una tan grande nube de testigos, dejando todo el peso del pecado que nos rodea, corramos con paciencia la carrera que nos es propuesta,

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Therefore let’s also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let’s run with perseverance the race that is set before us,

e fixemos os olhos em Jesus, o Autor e Consumador da nossa fé. Em troca da alegria que Lhe estava proposta, suportou a cruz, desprezou a vergonha e se assentou à direita do trono de Deus.

Puestos los ojos en al autor y consumador de la fe, en Jesús; el cual, habiéndole sido propuesto gozo, sufrió la cruz, menospreciando la vergüenza, y sentóse á la diestra del trono de Dios.

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Considerai, pois, Aquele que suportou tal oposição dos pecadores contra Si, para que vós não vos canseis e desanimeis.

Reducid pues á vuestro pensamiento á aquel que sufrió tal contradicción de pecadores contra sí mismo, porque no os fatiguéis en vuestros ánimos desmayando.

For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

For consider him who has endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, that you don’t grow weary, fainting in your souls.

Vós ainda não resististes até ao sangue na luta contra o pecado;

Que aun no habéis resistido hasta la sangre, combatiendo contra el pecado:

Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

You have not yet resisted to blood, striving against sin.

e vós esquecestes a exortação, a qual vos foi dirigida como a filhos: "Meu Filho, não desprezes a correção do Senhor, nem desanimes quando estiveres sendo corrigido por Ele".

Y estáis ya olvidados de la exhortación que como con hijos habla con vosotros, diciendo: Hijo mío, no menosprecies el castigo del Señor, ni desmayes cuando eres de él reprendido.

And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:

You have forgotten the exhortation which reasons with you as with children, “My son, don’t take lightly the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are reproved by him;

Porque o Senhor corrige a quem ama e açoita a todo o filho a quem Ele acolhe.

Porque el Señor al que ama castiga, y azota á cualquiera que recibe por hijo.

For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

for whom the Lord loves, he disciplines, and chastises every son whom he receives.”

Suportai o sofrimento como forma de correção; Deus vos trata como filhos, pois qual é o filho a quem o pai não corrige?

Si sufrís el castigo, Dios se os presenta como á hijos; porque ¿qué hijo es aquel á quien el padre no castiga?

If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

It is for discipline that you endure. God deals with you as with children, for what son is there whom his father doesn’t discipline?

Mas, se estais sem correção, da qual todos são participantes, então vós sois filhos ilegítimos e não filhos Dele.

Mas si estáis fuera del castigo, del cual todos han sido hechos participantes, luego sois bastardos, y no hijos.

But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

But if you are without discipline, of which all have been made partakers, then you are illegitimate, and not children.

Além disso, tínhamos pais segundo a carne, que nos corrigiam e nós os respeitávamos. Não deveríamos mais ainda obedecer ao nosso Pai espiritual e assim viver?

Por otra parte, tuvimos por castigadores á los padres de nuestra carne, y los reverenciábamos, ¿por qué no obedeceremos mucho mejor al Padre de los espíritus, y viviremos?

Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

Furthermore, we had the fathers of our flesh to chasten us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live?

Por um lado, nossos pais nos corrigiam por alguns dias como lhes parecia certo. Mas, por outro lado, Deus nos corrige para o nosso bem, para que possamos participar da Sua santidade.

Y aquéllos, á la verdad, por pocos días nos castigaban como á ellos les parecía, mas éste para lo que nos es provechoso, para que recibamos su santificación.

For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.

For they indeed for a few days disciplined us as seemed good to them, but he for our profit, that we may be partakers of his holiness.

Toda correção, no momento, não parece motivo de alegria, mas de tristeza. No entanto, mais tarde, produz fruto pacífico de justiça, para aqueles que têm sido por ela exercitados.

Es verdad que ningún castigo al presente parece ser causa de gozo, sino de tristeza; mas después da fruto apacible de justicia á los que en él son ejercitados.

Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

All chastening seems for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

Portanto, fortalecei as vossas mãos cansadas e os joelhos fracos;

Por lo cual alzad las manos caídas y las rodillas paralizadas;

Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;

Therefore lift up the hands that hang down and the feeble knees,

fazei caminhos retos para os pés, para que todo aquele que é manco não se desvie, pelo contrário, seja curado.

Y haced derechos pasos á vuestros pies, porque lo que es cojo no salga fuera de camino, antes sea sanado.

And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.

and make straight paths for your feet, so what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.

Segui a paz com todos e a santificação, sem a qual ninguém verá o Senhor.

Seguid la paz con todos, y la santidad, sin la cual nadie verá al Señor:

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man will see the Lord,

Cuidado para que ninguém tenha falta da graça de Deus, e que nenhuma raiz de amargura, crescendo, vos perturbe a ponto de contaminar a muitos.

Mirando bien que ninguno se aparte de la gracia de Dios, que ninguna raíz de amargura brotando os impida, y por ella muchos sean contaminados;

Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you and many be defiled by it,

Cuidai para que não haja algum imoral ou profano como Esaú, o qual, por uma refeição, vendeu o seu direito de primogenitura.

Que ninguno sea fornicario, ó profano, como Esaú, que por una vianda vendió su primogenitura.

Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.

lest there be any sexually immoral person or profane person, like Esau, who sold his birthright for one meal.

Porque sabeis que posteriormente, querendo ele herdar a bênção, foi rejeitado porque não encontrou lugar de arrependimento, embora com lágrimas o tivesse buscado.

Porque ya sabéis que aun después, deseando heredar la bendición, fué reprobado (que no halló lugar de arrepentimiento), aunque la procuró con lágrimas.

For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

For you know that even when he afterward desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for a change of mind though he sought it diligently with tears.

Porque não chegastes a um monte que possais tocar, a uma montanha de fogo ardente, à escuridão, às trevas e à tempestade;

Porque no os habéis llegado al monte que se podía tocar, y al fuego encendido, y al turbión, y á la oscuridad, y á la tempestad,

For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,

For you have not come to a mountain that might be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness, darkness, storm,

não chegastes ao som de trombeta, nem a uma voz que fala palavras, cujos ouvintes suplicaram que nenhuma outra palavra lhes fosse falada.

Y al sonido de la trompeta, y á la voz de las palabras, la cual los que la oyeron rogaron que no se les hablase más;

And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:

the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which those who heard it begged that not one more word should be spoken to them,

Pois não suportavam o que lhes era ordenado: "Até um animal, se tocar o monte, será apedrejado".

Porque no podían tolerar lo que se mandaba: Si bestia tocare al monte, será apedreada, ó pasada con dardo.

(For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:

for they could not stand that which was commanded, “If even an animal touches the mountain, it shall be stoned”.

Tão terrível era aquela visão, que Moisés disse: "Estou aterrorizado e trêmulo".

Y tan terrible cosa era lo que se veía, que Moisés dijo: Estoy asombrado y temblando.

And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)

So fearful was the appearance that Moses said, “I am terrified and trembling.”

Mas chegastes ao Monte Sião, à cidade do Deus vivo, à Jerusalém celestial e às dezenas de milhares de anjos em celebração.

Mas os habéis llegado al monte de Sión, y á la ciudad del Dios vivo, Jerusalem la celestial, y á la compañía de muchos millares de ángeles,

But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable multitudes of angels,

Viestes à igreja dos primogênitos arrolados nos céus; a Deus, o Juiz de todos; aos espíritos dos justos que foram aperfeiçoados.

Y á la congregación de los primogénitos que están alistados en los cielos, y á Dios el Juez de todos, y á los espíritus de los justos hechos perfectos,

To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

to the festal gathering and assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect,

Viestes a Jesus, o Mediador da nova aliança, e ao sangue da aspersão, que fala melhor do que o sangue de Abel.

Y á Jesús el Mediador del nuevo testamento, y á la sangre del esparcimiento que habla mejor que la de Abel.

And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Vede que não recuseis Aquele que vos está falando. Pois, se as pessoas que rejeitaram Quem na terra os advertia não escaparam, nós certamente não escaparemos, se nos desviarmos Daquele que nos está advertindo dos céus;

Mirad que no desechéis al que habla. Porque si aquellos no escaparon que desecharon al que hablaba en la tierra, mucho menos nosotros, si desecháramos al que habla de los cielos.

See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:

See that you don’t refuse him who speaks. For if they didn’t escape when they refused him who warned on the earth, how much more will we not escape who turn away from him who warns from heaven,

Aquele, cuja voz abalou a terra. Mas agora Ele prometeu e disse: "Ainda, uma vez mais, hei de abalar não só a terra, mas também o céu".

La voz del cual entonces conmovió la tierra; mas ahora ha denunciado, diciendo: Aun una vez, y yo conmoveré no solamente la tierra, mas aun el cielo.

Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

whose voice shook the earth then, but now he has promised, saying, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heavens.”

Estas palavras: "Ainda uma vez mais" indicam a remoção dessas coisas abaladas, ou seja, as coisas criadas, para que permaneçam as que não podem ser abaladas.

Y esta palabra, Aun una vez, declara la mudanza de las cosas movibles, como de cosas hechas, para que queden las cosas que son firmes.

And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

This phrase, “Yet once more” signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that have been made, that those things which are not shaken may remain.

Por isso, tendo recebido um reino que não pode ser abalado, retenhamos essa graça e desta forma sirvamos a Deus de modo agradável, com reverência e temor.

Así que, tomando el reino inmóvil, retengamos la gracia por la cual sirvamos á Dios agradándole con temor y reverencia;

Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

Therefore, receiving a Kingdom that can’t be shaken, let’s have grace, through which we serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe,

Pois o nosso Deus é um fogo consumidor.

Porque nuestro Dios es fuego consumidor.

For our God is a consuming fire.
