PERMANEZCA el amor fraternal.

Gastfrei zu sein vergesset nicht; denn durch dasselbige haben etliche ohne ihr Wissen Engel beherberget.

No olvidéis la hospitalidad, porque por ésta algunos, sin saberlo, hospedaron ángeles.

Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for in doing so, some have entertained angels without knowing it.

Gedenket der Gebundenen als die Mitgebundenen und derer, die Trubsal leiden, als die ihr auch noch im Leibe lebet.

Acordaos de los presos, como presos juntamente con ellos; y de los afligidos, como que también vosotros mismos sois del cuerpo.

Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.

Remember those who are in bonds, as bound with them, and those who are ill-treated, since you are also in the body.

Die Ehe soil ehrlich gehalten werden bei alien und das Ehebett unbefleckt; die Hurer aber und Ehebrecher wird Gott richten.

Honroso es en todos el matrimonio, y el lecho sin mancilla; mas á los fornicarios y á los adúlteros juzgará Dios.

Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.

Der Wandel sei ohne Geiz; und lasset euch begnügen an dem, was da ist. Denn er hat gesagt: Ich will dich nicht verlassen noch versaumen,

Sean las costumbres vuestras sin avaricia; contentos de lo presente; porque él dijo: No te desampararé, ni te dejaré.

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, “I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.”

also daß wir dürfen sagen: Der Herr ist mein Heifer, und will mich nicht furchten; was sollte mir ein Mensch tun?

De tal manera que digamos confiadamente: El Señor es mi ayudador; no temeré lo que me hará el hombre.

So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

So that with good courage we say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

Gedenket an eure Lehrer, die euch das Wort Gottes gesagt haben, welcher Ende schauet an und folget ihrem Glauben nach.

Acordaos de vuestros pastores, que os hablaron la palabra de Dios; la fe de los cuales imitad, considerando cuál haya sido el éxito de su conducta.

Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

Remember your leaders, men who spoke to you the word of God, and considering the results of their conduct, imitate their faith.

Jesus Christus gestern und heute und derselbe auch in Ewigkeit.

Jesucristo es el mismo ayer, y hoy, y por los siglos.

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Lasset euch nicht mit mancherlei und fremden Lehren umtreiben; denn es ist ein kostlich Ding, daß das Herz fest werde, welches geschieht durch Gnade, nicht durch Speisen, davon keinen Nutzen haben, so damit umgehen.

No seáis llevados de acá para allá por doctrinas diversas y extrañas; porque buena cosa es afirmar el corazón en la gracia, no en viandas, que nunca aprovecharon á los que anduvieron en ellas.

Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

Don’t be carried away by various and strange teachings, for it is good that the heart be established by grace, not by foods, through which those who were so occupied were not benefited.

Wir haben einen Altar, davon nicht Macht haben zu essen, die der Hutte pflegen.

Tenemos un altar, del cual no tienen facultad de comer los que sirven al tabernáculo.

We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.

We have an altar from which those who serve the holy tabernacle have no right to eat.

Denn welcher Tiere Blut getragen wird durch den Hohenpriester in das Heilige fur die Sünde, derselbigen Leichname werden verbrannt aufter dem Lager.

Porque los cuerpos de aquellos animales, la sangre de los cuales es metida por el pecado en el santuario por el pontífice, son quemados fuera del real.

For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.

For the bodies of those animals, whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest as an offering for sin, are burned outside of the camp.

Darum auch Jesus, auf daß er heiligte das Volk durch sein eigen Blut, hat er gelitten auften vor dem Tor.

Por lo cual también Jesús, para santificar al pueblo por su propia sangre, padeció fuera de la puerta.

Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

So lasset uns nun zu ihm hinausgehen aufter dem Lager und seine Schmach tragen.

Salgamos pues á él fuera del real, llevando su vituperio.

Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

Let’s therefore go out to him outside of the camp, bearing his reproach.

Denn wir haben hier keine bleibende Stadt, sondern die zukünftige suchen wir.

Porque no tenemos aquí ciudad permanente, mas buscamos la por venir.

For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.

For we don’t have here an enduring city, but we seek that which is to come.

So lasset uns nun opfern durch ihn das Lobopfer Gott allezeit, das ist, die Frucht der Lippen, die seinen Namen bekennen.

Así que, ofrezcamos por medio de él á Dios siempre sacrificio de alabanza, es á saber, fruto de labios que confiesen á su nombre.

By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

Through him, then, let’s offer up a sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of lips which proclaim allegiance to his name.

Wohlzutun und mitzuteilen vergesset nicht; denn solche Opfer gefallen Gottwohl.

Y de hacer bien y de la comunicación no os olvidéis: porque de tales sacrificios se agrada Dios.

But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

But don’t forget to be doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

Gehorchet euren Lehrern und folget ihnen; denn sie wachen über eure Seelen, als die da Rechenschaft dafur geben sollen, auf daß sie das mit Freuden tun und nicht mit Seufzen; denn das ist euch nicht gut.

Obedeced á vuestros pastores, y sujetaos á ellos; porque ellos velan por vuestras almas, como aquellos que han de dar cuenta; para que lo hagan con alegría, y no gimiendo; porque esto no os es útil.

Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they watch on behalf of your souls, as those who will give account, that they may do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be unprofitable for you.

Betet fur uns! Unser Trost ist der, daß wir ein gut Gewissen haben und fleiftigen uns, guten Wandel zu führen bei alien.

Orad por nosotros: porque confiamos que tenemos buena conciencia, deseando conversar bien en todo.

Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.

Pray for us, for we are persuaded that we have a good conscience, desiring to live honorably in all things.

Ich ermahne euch aberzum Uberfluft, solches zu tun, auf daß ich aufs schierste wieder zu euch komme.

Y más os ruego que lo hagáis así, para que yo os sea más presto restituído.

But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.

I strongly urge you to do this, that I may be restored to you sooner.

Gott aber des Friedens, der von den Toten ausgeführet hat den groften Hirten der Schafe durch das Blut des ewigen Testaments, unsern Herrn Jesum,

Y el Dios de paz que sacó de los muertos á nuestro Señor Jesucristo, el gran pastor de las ovejas, por la sangre del testamento eterno,

Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

Now may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, our Lord Jesus,

der mache euch fertig in allem guten Werk, zu tun seinen Willen, und schaffe in euch, was vor ihm gefallig ist, durch Jesum Christum, welchem sei Ehre von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit! Amen.

Os haga aptos en toda obra buena para que hagáis su voluntad, haciendo él en vosotros lo que es agradable delante de él por Jesucristo: al cual sea gloria por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.

Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Ich ermahne euch aber, liebe Bruder, haltet das Wort der Ermahnung zugute; denn ich habe euch kurz geschrieben.

Wisset, daß der Bruder Timotheus wieder ledig ist, mit welchem, so er bald kommt, will ich euch sehen.

Sabed que nuestro hermano Timoteo está suelto; con el cual, si viniere más presto, os iré á ver.

Know ye that our brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you.

Know that our brother Timothy has been freed, with whom, if he comes shortly, I will see you.

Gruftet alle eure Lehrer und alle Heiligen. Es grüften euch die Bruder aus Italien.

Saludad á todos vuestros pastores, y á todos los santos. Los de Italia os saludan.

Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints. They of Italy salute you.

Greet all of your leaders and all the saints. The Italians greet you.

Die Gnade sei mit euch alien! Amen.
