Persévérez dans l’amour fraternel.

N’oubliez pas l’hospitalité; car, en l’exerçant, quelques-uns ont logé des anges, sans le savoir.

No olvidéis la hospitalidad, porque por ésta algunos, sin saberlo, hospedaron ángeles.

Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for in doing so, some have entertained angels without knowing it.

Souvenez-vous des prisonniers, comme si vous étiez aussi prisonniers; de ceux qui sont maltraités, comme étant aussi vous-mêmes dans un corps.

Acordaos de los presos, como presos juntamente con ellos; y de los afligidos, como que también vosotros mismos sois del cuerpo.

Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.

Remember those who are in bonds, as bound with them, and those who are ill-treated, since you are also in the body.

Que le mariage soit honoré de tous, et le lit conjugal exempt de souillure, car Dieu jugera les impudiques et les adultères.

Honroso es en todos el matrimonio, y el lecho sin mancilla; mas á los fornicarios y á los adúlteros juzgará Dios.

Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.

Ne vous livrez pas à l’amour de l’argent; contentez-vous de ce que vous avez; car Dieu lui-même a dit: Je ne te délaisserai point, et je ne t’abandonnerai point.

Sean las costumbres vuestras sin avaricia; contentos de lo presente; porque él dijo: No te desampararé, ni te dejaré.

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, “I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.”

C’est donc avec assurance que nous pouvons dire: Le Seigneur est mon aide, je ne craindrai rien; Que peut me faire un homme?

De tal manera que digamos confiadamente: El Señor es mi ayudador; no temeré lo que me hará el hombre.

So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

So that with good courage we say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

Souvenez-vous de vos conducteurs qui vous ont annoncé la parole de Dieu; considérez quelle a été la fin de leur vie, et imitez leur foi.

Acordaos de vuestros pastores, que os hablaron la palabra de Dios; la fe de los cuales imitad, considerando cuál haya sido el éxito de su conducta.

Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

Remember your leaders, men who spoke to you the word of God, and considering the results of their conduct, imitate their faith.

Jésus-Christ est le même hier, aujourd’hui, et éternellement.

Jesucristo es el mismo ayer, y hoy, y por los siglos.

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Ne vous laissez pas entraîner par des doctrines diverses et étrangères; car il est bon que le cœur soit affermi par la grâce, et non par des aliments qui n’ont servi de rien à ceux qui s’y sont attachés.

No seáis llevados de acá para allá por doctrinas diversas y extrañas; porque buena cosa es afirmar el corazón en la gracia, no en viandas, que nunca aprovecharon á los que anduvieron en ellas.

Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

Don’t be carried away by various and strange teachings, for it is good that the heart be established by grace, not by foods, through which those who were so occupied were not benefited.

Nous avons un autel dont ceux qui font le service au tabernacle n’ont pas le pouvoir de manger.

Tenemos un altar, del cual no tienen facultad de comer los que sirven al tabernáculo.

We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.

We have an altar from which those who serve the holy tabernacle have no right to eat.

Les corps des animaux, dont le sang est porté dans le sanctuaire par le souverain sacrificateur pour le péché, sont brûlés hors du camp.

Porque los cuerpos de aquellos animales, la sangre de los cuales es metida por el pecado en el santuario por el pontífice, son quemados fuera del real.

For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.

For the bodies of those animals, whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest as an offering for sin, are burned outside of the camp.

C’est pour cela que Jésus aussi, afin de sanctifier le peuple par son propre sang, a souffert hors de la porte.

Por lo cual también Jesús, para santificar al pueblo por su propia sangre, padeció fuera de la puerta.

Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

Therefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people through his own blood, suffered outside of the gate.

Sortons donc pour aller à lui, hors du camp, en portant son opprobre.

Salgamos pues á él fuera del real, llevando su vituperio.

Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

Let’s therefore go out to him outside of the camp, bearing his reproach.

Car nous n’avons point ici-bas de cité permanente, mais nous cherchons celle qui est à venir.

Porque no tenemos aquí ciudad permanente, mas buscamos la por venir.

For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.

For we don’t have here an enduring city, but we seek that which is to come.

Par lui, offrons sans cesse à Dieu un sacrifice de louange, c’est-à-dire le fruit de lèvres qui confessent son nom.

Así que, ofrezcamos por medio de él á Dios siempre sacrificio de alabanza, es á saber, fruto de labios que confiesen á su nombre.

By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

Through him, then, let’s offer up a sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of lips which proclaim allegiance to his name.

Et n’oubliez pas la bienfaisance et la libéralité, car c’est à de tels sacrifices que Dieu prend plaisir.

Y de hacer bien y de la comunicación no os olvidéis: porque de tales sacrificios se agrada Dios.

But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

But don’t forget to be doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

Obéissez à vos conducteurs et ayez pour eux de la déférence, car ils veillent sur vos âmes comme devant en rendre compte; qu’il en soit ainsi, afin qu’ils le fassent avec joie, et non en gémissant, ce qui ne vous serait d’aucun avantage.

Obedeced á vuestros pastores, y sujetaos á ellos; porque ellos velan por vuestras almas, como aquellos que han de dar cuenta; para que lo hagan con alegría, y no gimiendo; porque esto no os es útil.

Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they watch on behalf of your souls, as those who will give account, that they may do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be unprofitable for you.

Priez pour nous; car nous croyons avoir une bonne conscience, voulant en toutes choses nous bien conduire.

Orad por nosotros: porque confiamos que tenemos buena conciencia, deseando conversar bien en todo.

Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.

Pray for us, for we are persuaded that we have a good conscience, desiring to live honorably in all things.

C’est avec instance que je vous demande de le faire, afin que je vous sois rendu plus tôt.

Y más os ruego que lo hagáis así, para que yo os sea más presto restituído.

But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.

I strongly urge you to do this, that I may be restored to you sooner.

Que le Dieu de paix, qui a ramené d’entre les morts le grand pasteur des brebis, par le sang d’une alliance éternelle, notre Seigneur Jésus,

Y el Dios de paz que sacó de los muertos á nuestro Señor Jesucristo, el gran pastor de las ovejas, por la sangre del testamento eterno,

Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

Now may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, our Lord Jesus,

vous rende capables de toute bonne œuvre pour l’accomplissement de sa volonté, et fasse en vous ce qui lui est agréable, par Jésus-Christ, auquel soit la gloire aux siècles des siècles! Amen!

Os haga aptos en toda obra buena para que hagáis su voluntad, haciendo él en vosotros lo que es agradable delante de él por Jesucristo: al cual sea gloria por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.

Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Je vous prie, frères, de supporter ces paroles d’exhortation, car je vous ai écrit brièvement.

And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words.

But I exhort you, brothers, endure the word of exhortation, for I have written to you in few words.

Sachez que notre frère Timothée a été relâché; s’il vient bientôt, j’irai vous voir avec lui.

Sabed que nuestro hermano Timoteo está suelto; con el cual, si viniere más presto, os iré á ver.

Know ye that our brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you.

Know that our brother Timothy has been freed, with whom, if he comes shortly, I will see you.

Saluez tous vos conducteurs, et tous les saints. Ceux d’Italie vous saluent.

Saludad á todos vuestros pastores, y á todos los santos. Los de Italia os saludan.

Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints. They of Italy salute you.

Greet all of your leaders and all the saints. The Italians greet you.

Que la grâce soit avec vous tous! Amen!
