Acuérdense de los que están en la cárcel, como si ustedes estuvieran presos con ellos. Acuérdense de aquellos que son maltratados, como si ustedes sufrieran físicamente con ellos.
Acordaos de los presos, como presos juntamente con ellos; y de los afligidos, como que también vosotros mismos sois del cuerpo.
Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.

Todos deben honrar el matrimonio. Los esposos y esposas deben ser fieles unos a otros. Pues Dios juzgará a los adúlteros.
Honroso es en todos el matrimonio, y el lecho sin mancilla; mas á los fornicarios y á los adúlteros juzgará Dios.
Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

No amen el dinero. Estén contentos con lo que tienen. Dios mismo dijo: “Nunca te defraudaré; nunca te abandonaré”.
Sean las costumbres vuestras sin avaricia; contentos de lo presente; porque él dijo: No te desampararé, ni te dejaré.
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Por eso podemos decir con toda confianza: “Es Señor es mi ayudador, por lo tanto no temeré. ¿Qué puede hacerme cualquier persona?”
De tal manera que digamos confiadamente: El Señor es mi ayudador; no temeré lo que me hará el hombre.
So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
So that with good courage we say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
Recuerden a los líderes que les enseñaron la palabra de Dios. Miren nuevamente los frutos de sus vidas, e imiten su fe en Dios.
Acordaos de vuestros pastores, que os hablaron la palabra de Dios; la fe de los cuales imitad, considerando cuál haya sido el éxito de su conducta.
Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.
Remember your leaders, men who spoke to you the word of God, and considering the results of their conduct, imitate their faith.
Jesucristo es el mismo ayer, hoy y para siempre.

No se distraigan con distintas clases de enseñanzas extrañas. Es mejor que la mente esté convencida por gracia y no por leyes en lo que concierne a los alimentos. Los que seguían tales leyes no lograron nada.
No seáis llevados de acá para allá por doctrinas diversas y extrañas; porque buena cosa es afirmar el corazón en la gracia, no en viandas, que nunca aprovecharon á los que anduvieron en ellas.
Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.
Don’t be carried away by various and strange teachings, for it is good that the heart be established by grace, not by foods, through which those who were so occupied were not benefited.

Los cuerpos muertos de animales, cuya sangre es llevada por el sumo sacerdote al lugar santísimo como ofrenda para el pecado, son quemados a las afueras del campamento.

Del mismo modo, Jesús, murió también fuera de las puertas de la ciudad para santificar al pueblo de Dios por medio de su propia sangre.

Ofrezcamos, pues, por medio de Jesús, un sacrificio continuo de alabanza a Dios, es decir, hablando bien de Dios, y declarando su carácter.

Sigan a sus líderes, y hagan lo que ellos les piden, porque ellos cuidan de ustedes y darán cuenta. Actúen de tal manera que ellos puedan hacerlo con alegría, y no con tristeza, pues eso no sería bueno para ustedes.
Obedeced á vuestros pastores, y sujetaos á ellos; porque ellos velan por vuestras almas, como aquellos que han de dar cuenta; para que lo hagan con alegría, y no gimiendo; porque esto no os es útil.
Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they watch on behalf of your souls, as those who will give account, that they may do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be unprofitable for you.
Por favor, oren por nosotros. Pues estamos seguros de que hemos actuado bien y con buena conciencia, procurando siempre hacer lo correcto en cada situación.
Orad por nosotros: porque confiamos que tenemos buena conciencia, deseando conversar bien en todo.
Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.

De verdad quiero que oren mucho para que pueda ir pronto a verlos.
Y más os ruego que lo hagáis así, para que yo os sea más presto restituído.
