Há muito tempo Deus falou de muitas maneiras diferentes aos nossos pais por intermédio dos profetas.

DIOS, habiendo hablado muchas veces y en muchas maneras en otro tiempo á los padres por los profetas,

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways,
