1En tiempos pasados la palabra de Dios vino a nuestros padres por medio de los profetas, en diferentes partes y de diferentes maneras;
2Pero ahora, al final de estos días, nos ha llegado a través de su Hijo, a quien ha dado todas las cosas por herencia, y por medio de quien hizo el universo;
3Quien, siendo el resplandor de su gloria, la verdadera imagen de su sustancia, apoyando todas las cosas por la palabra de su poder, habiéndose entregado a sí mismo como una ofrenda para libertad de nuestros pecados, se sentó a la diestra de Dios en el cielo;
4Convertido en superior que los ángeles, y que por herencia obtuvo nombre más excelente que el de ellos.
5¿A cuál de los ángeles dijo Dios en algún momento, Tú eres mi Hijo, hoy te he engendrado? o, seré su padre, y él será mi hijo?
6Y nuevamente, cuando está enviando a su único Hijo al mundo, él dice: Dejen que todos los ángeles de Dios le den culto.
7Y de los ángeles dice: El hace que sus ángeles, sean como vientos y sus siervos como llamas de fuego.
8Mas del Hijo dice: Tu asiento de poder, oh Dios, por los siglos de los siglos; y la vara de tu reino es vara de justicia.
9Has sido un amante de la justicia y un enemigo del mal; y así Dios, tu Dios, ha puesto el aceite de alegría en tu cabeza más que en la cabeza de aquellos que están contigo.
10Tú, Señor, al principio pusiste la tierra sobre su base, y los cielos son obra de tus manos:
11Ellos llegarán a su fin; pero eres para siempre; envejecerán como una túnica;
12Ellos serán enrollados como un paño, como un manto, y serán cambiados; pero tú eres el mismo y tus años no tendrán fin.
13Pero, ¿de cuál de los ángeles ha dicho en algún momento: Toma asiento a mi derecha hasta que ponga a todos los que están contra ti bajo tus pies?
14¿No son todos espíritus ayudadores, que son enviados como siervos a aquellos cuya herencia será la salvación?

1DIOS, habiendo hablado muchas veces y en muchas maneras en otro tiempo á los padres por los profetas,
2En estos postreros días nos ha hablado por el Hijo, al cual constituyó heredero de todo, por el cual asimismo hizo el universo:
3El cual siendo el resplandor de su gloria, y la misma imagen de su sustancia, y sustentando todas las cosas con la palabra de su potencia, habiendo hecho la purgación de nuestros pecados por sí mismo, se sentó á la diestra de la Majestad en las alturas,
4Hecho tanto más excelente que los ángeles, cuanto alcanzó por herencia más excelente nombre que ellos.
5Porque ¿á cuál de los ángeles dijo Dios jamás: Mi hijo eres tú, hoy yo te he engendrado? y otra vez: Yo seré á él Padre, y él me será á mí hijo?
6Y otra vez, cuando introduce al Primogénito en la tierra, dice: Y adórenle todos los ángeles de Dios.
7Y ciertamente de los ángeles dice: El que hace á sus ángeles espíritus, y á sus ministros llama de fuego.
8Mas al hijo: Tu trono, oh Dios, por el siglo del siglo; vara de equidad la vara de tu reino;
9Has amado la justicia, y aborrecido la maldad; por lo cual te ungió Dios, el Dios tuyo, con óleo de alegría más que á tus compañeros.
10Y: Tú, oh Señor, en el principio fundaste la tierra; y los cielos son obras de tus manos:
11Ellos perecerán, mas tú eres permanente; y todos ellos se envejecerán como una vestidura;
12Y como un vestido los envolverás, y serán mudados; empero tú eres el mismo, y tus años no acabarán.
13Pues, ¿á cuál de los ángeles dijo jamás: Siéntate á mi diestra, hasta que ponga á tus enemigos por estrado de tus pies?
14¿No son todos espíritus administradores, enviados para servicio á favor de los que serán herederos de salud?

1God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
4Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
5For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
6And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
7And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
8But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
9Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
10And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
11They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
12And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
13But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
14Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
World English Bible
1God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways,
2has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds.
3His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, who, when he had by himself purified us of our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high,
4having become as much better than the angels as the more excellent name he has inherited is better than theirs.
5For to which of the angels did he say at any time, “You are my Son. Today I have become your father?” and again, “I will be to him a Father, and he will be to me a Son?”
6When he again brings in the firstborn into the world he says, “Let all the angels of God worship him.”
7Of the angels he says, “He makes his angels winds, and his servants a flame of fire.”
8But of the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever. The scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your Kingdom.
9You have loved righteousness and hated iniquity; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.”
10And, “You, Lord, in the beginning, laid the foundation of the earth. The heavens are the works of your hands.
11They will perish, but you continue. They all will grow old like a garment does.
12You will roll them up like a mantle, and they will be changed; but you are the same. Your years won’t fail.”
13But which of the angels has he told at any time, “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet?”
14Aren’t they all serving spirits, sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?
