da mich eure Väter versuchten; sie prüften mich und sahen meine Werke vierzig Jahre lang;

Porque en cuanto él mismo padeció siendo tentado, es poderoso para socorrer á los que son tentados.

For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

For in that he himself has suffered being tempted, he is able to help those who are tempted.
