C'est pourquoi nous devons nous attacher avec plus de soin aux choses que nous avons entendues de peur que nous ne venions à être entraînés.

POR tanto, es menester que con más diligencia atendamos á las cosas que hemos oído, porque acaso no nos escurramos.

Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.

Therefore we ought to pay greater attention to the things that were heard, lest perhaps we drift away.

Car, si déjà la parole promulguée par des anges a eu son effet, et si toute transgression et toute désobéissance a reçu en retour un juste châtiment,

Porque si la palabra dicha por los ángeles fué firme, y toda rebelión y desobediencia recibió justa paga de retribución,

For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;

For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just penalty,

comment pourrons-nous échapper, si nous venions à négliger un message si salutaire, qui, annoncé d'abord par le Seigneur, nous a été sûrement transmis par ceux qui l'ont entendu de lui,

¿Cómo escaparemos nosotros, si tuviéremos en poco una salud tan grande? La cual, habiendo comenzado á ser publicada por el Señor, ha sido confirmada hasta nosotros por los que oyeron;

How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

how will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation—which at the first having been spoken through the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard,

Dieu confirmant leur témoignage par des signes, des prodiges et toutes sortes de miracles, ainsi que par les dons du Saint-Esprit, répartis selon sa volonté ?

Testificando juntamente con ellos Dios, con señales y milagros, y diversas maravillas, y repartimientos del Espíritu Santo según su voluntad.

God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?

God also testifying with them, both by signs and wonders, by various works of power, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to his own will?

En effet, ce n'est pas à des anges que Dieu a soumis le monde à venir dont nous parlons.

Porque no sujetó á los ángeles el mundo venidero, del cual hablamos.

For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.

For he didn’t subject the world to come, of which we speak, to angels.

Aussi quelqu'un a-t-il écrit quelque part ce témoignage : " Qu'est-ce que l'homme, pour que vous vous souveniez de lui ; ou le fils de l'homme pour que vous en preniez soin ?

Testificó empero uno en cierto lugar, diciendo: ¿Qué es el hombre, que te acuerdas de él? ¿ó el hijo del hombre, que le visitas?

But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?

But one has somewhere testified, saying, “What is man, that you think of him? Or the son of man, that you care for him?

Vous l'avez abaissé pour un peu de temps au-dessous des anges ; vous l'avez couronné de gloire et d'honneur, †vous l'avez établi sur les ouvrages de vos mains,

Tú le hiciste un poco menor que los ángeles, coronástele de gloria y de honra, y pusístele sobre las obras de tus manos;

Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:

You made him a little lower than the angels. You crowned him with glory and honor.

vous avez mis toutes choses sous ses pieds. " En effet, en lui soumettant toutes choses, Dieu n'a rien laissé en dehors de son empire. Or à présent nous ne voyons pas encore que toutes choses lui soient soumises.

Todas las cosas sujetaste debajo de sus pies. Porque en cuanto le sujetó todas las cosas, nada dejó que no sea sujeto á él; mas aun no vemos que todas las cosas le sean sujetas.

Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.

You have put all things in subjection under his feet.” For in that he subjected all things to him, he left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we don’t yet see all things subjected to him.

Mais celui qui " a été abaissé pour un peu de temps au-dessous des anges, " Jésus, nous le voyons couronné de gloire et d'honneur à cause de la mort qu'il a soufferte, afin que, par la grâce de Dieu, il goûtât la mort pour tous.

Empero vemos coronado de gloria y de honra, por el padecimiento de muerte, á aquel Jesús que es hecho un poco menor que los ángeles, para que por gracia de Dios gustase la muerte por todos.

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

But we see him who has been made a little lower than the angels, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God he should taste of death for everyone.

En effet, il était bien digne de celui pour qui et par qui sont toutes choses, qu'ayant à conduire à la gloire un grand nombre de fils, il élevât par les souffrances au plus haut degré de perfection le chef qui les a guidés vers le salut.

Porque convenía que aquel por cuya causa son todas las cosas, y por el cual todas las cosas subsisten, habiendo de llevar á la gloria á muchos hijos, hiciese consumado por aflicciones al autor de la salud de ellos.

For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

Car celui qui sanctifie et ceux qui sont sanctifiés, tous sont d'un seul. C'est pourquoi Jésus-Christ ne rougit point de les appeler frères, lorsqu'il dit :

Porque el que santifica y los que son santificados, de uno son todos: por lo cual no se avergüenza de llamarlos hermanos,

For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

For both he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all from one, for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brothers,

" J'annoncerai ton nom à mes frères, je te louerai au milieu de l'assemblée. "

Diciendo: Anunciaré á mis hermanos tu nombre, en medio de la congregación te alabaré.

Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.

saying, “I will declare your name to my brothers. Among the congregation I will sing your praise.”

Et encore : " Je mettrai ma confiance en lui. " Et encore : " Me voici, moi et les enfants que Dieu m'a donnés. "

Y otra vez: Yo confiaré en él. Y otra vez: He aquí, yo y los hijos que me dió Dios.

And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.

Again, “I will put my trust in him.” Again, “Behold, here I am with the children whom God has given me.”

Puis donc que les " enfants " ont eu en partage le sang et la chair, lui aussi y a participé également, afin de briser par sa mort la puissance de celui qui a l'empire de la mort, c'est-à-dire du diable,

Así que, por cuanto los hijos participaron de carne y sangre, él también participó de lo mismo, para destruir por la muerte al que tenía el imperio de la muerte, es á saber, al diablo,

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

Since then the children have shared in flesh and blood, he also himself in the same way partook of the same, that through death he might bring to nothing him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,

et de délivrer ceux que la crainte de la mort retenait toute leur vie assujettis à la servitude.

Y librar á los que por el temor de la muerte estaban por toda la vida sujetos á servidumbre.

And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

and might deliver all of them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Car certes ce n'est pas à des anges qu'il vient en aide, mais c'est à la postérité d'Abraham.

Porque ciertamente no tomó á los ángeles, sino á la simiente de Abraham tomó.

For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.

For most certainly, he doesn’t give help to angels, but he gives help to the offspring of Abraham.

De là vient qu'il a dû être fait semblable en tout à ses frères, afin d'être un Pontife miséricordieux et qui s'acquittât fidèlement de ce qu'il faut auprès de Dieu, pour expier les péchés du peuple ;

Por lo cual, debía ser en todo semejante á los hermanos, para venir á ser misericordioso y fiel Pontífice en lo que es para con Dios, para expiar los pecados del pueblo.

Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

Therefore he was obligated in all things to be made like his brothers, that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make atonement for the sins of the people.

car, c'est parce qu'il a souffert, et a été lui-même éprouvé, qu'il peut secourir ceux qui sont éprouvés.

Porque en cuanto él mismo padeció siendo tentado, es poderoso para socorrer á los que son tentados.

For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

For in that he himself has suffered being tempted, he is able to help those who are tempted.
