Darum müssen wir um so mehr achten auf das, was wir hören, damit wir nicht darum kommen.

POR tanto, es menester que con más diligencia atendamos á las cosas que hemos oído, porque acaso no nos escurramos.

Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.

Therefore we ought to pay greater attention to the things that were heard, lest perhaps we drift away.

Denn so das Wort, durch die Engel gesprochen, bestätigt worden ist, und jegliche Übertretung und aller Ungehorsam den verdienten Lohn empfangen hat,

Porque si la palabra dicha por los ángeles fué firme, y toda rebelión y desobediencia recibió justa paga de retribución,

For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;

For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just penalty,

Wie wollen wir entfliehen, so wir eine so wichtige Heilslehre mißachtet haben, die zuerst durch den Herrn gepredigt und von denen, die sie gehört, für uns bestätigt worden ist?

¿Cómo escaparemos nosotros, si tuviéremos en poco una salud tan grande? La cual, habiendo comenzado á ser publicada por el Señor, ha sido confirmada hasta nosotros por los que oyeron;

How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

how will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation—which at the first having been spoken through the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard,

Indem Gott es mitbezeugte mit Zeichen, Wundern und mancherlei Kräften und mit Austeilung des Heiligen Geistes nach Seinem Willen.

Testificando juntamente con ellos Dios, con señales y milagros, y diversas maravillas, y repartimientos del Espíritu Santo según su voluntad.

God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?

God also testifying with them, both by signs and wonders, by various works of power, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to his own will?

Denn Er hat nicht den Engeln untergetan die zukünftige Welt, von der wir reden,

Porque no sujetó á los ángeles el mundo venidero, del cual hablamos.

For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.

For he didn’t subject the world to come, of which we speak, to angels.

Vielmehr hat irgendwo einer bezeugt und gesagt: Was ist der Mensch, daß seiner Du gedenkst, und des Menschen Sohn, daß Du nach Ihm siehst?

Testificó empero uno en cierto lugar, diciendo: ¿Qué es el hombre, que te acuerdas de él? ¿ó el hijo del hombre, que le visitas?

But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?

But one has somewhere testified, saying, “What is man, that you think of him? Or the son of man, that you care for him?

Du hattest Ihn auf eine kurze Zeit unter die Engel erniedrigt, hast Ihn dann aber mit Herrlichkeit und Würde gekrönt und über die Werke Deiner Hände gesetzt.

Tú le hiciste un poco menor que los ángeles, coronástele de gloria y de honra, y pusístele sobre las obras de tus manos;

Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:

You made him a little lower than the angels. You crowned him with glory and honor.

Du hast alles unter Seine Füße gelegt. Denn da Er Ihm alles hat untergetan, hat Er nichts gelassen, das Ihm nicht untertan wäre. Jetzt aber sehen wir noch nicht, daß Ihm alles untertan ist.

Todas las cosas sujetaste debajo de sus pies. Porque en cuanto le sujetó todas las cosas, nada dejó que no sea sujeto á él; mas aun no vemos que todas las cosas le sean sujetas.

Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.

You have put all things in subjection under his feet.” For in that he subjected all things to him, he left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we don’t yet see all things subjected to him.

Ihn aber, Jesus, Der auf kurze Zeit unter die Engel erniedrigt war, auf daß Er durch die Gnade Gottes für alle den Tod schmecke, sehen wir nun durch Sein Todesleiden mit Preis und Herrlichkeit gekrönt.

Empero vemos coronado de gloria y de honra, por el padecimiento de muerte, á aquel Jesús que es hecho un poco menor que los ángeles, para que por gracia de Dios gustase la muerte por todos.

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

Denn es ziemte, Den, für Den und durch Den alles ist, nachdem Er viele Söhne zur Herrlichkeit geführt, den Führer zu ihrem Heil durch Leiden zur Vollendung zu bringen.

Porque convenía que aquel por cuya causa son todas las cosas, y por el cual todas las cosas subsisten, habiendo de llevar á la gloria á muchos hijos, hiciese consumado por aflicciones al autor de la salud de ellos.

For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

Denn Er, der Heiligende, und die da geheiligt werden, sind alle aus Einem, aus welcher Ursache Er keinen Anstand nimmt, sie Brüder zu nennen,

Porque el que santifica y los que son santificados, de uno son todos: por lo cual no se avergüenza de llamarlos hermanos,

For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

Und spricht: Ich will Meinen Brüdern Deinen Namen verkündigen und mitten in der Gemeinde Dir lobsingen.

Diciendo: Anunciaré á mis hermanos tu nombre, en medio de la congregación te alabaré.

Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.

saying, “I will declare your name to my brothers. Among the congregation I will sing your praise.”

Und abermals: Ich werde Mein Vertrauen auf Ihn setzen. Und abermals: Siehe, Ich und die Kindlein, die Gott Mir gegeben hat.

Y otra vez: Yo confiaré en él. Y otra vez: He aquí, yo y los hijos que me dió Dios.

And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.

Again, “I will put my trust in him.” Again, “Behold, here I am with the children whom God has given me.”

Weil nun die Kindlein Fleisch und Blut gemein haben, so hat auch Er gleichermaßen an denselben teilgenommen, auf daß Er durch den Tod den, der Macht hatte über den Tod, das ist den Teufel, überwände,

Así que, por cuanto los hijos participaron de carne y sangre, él también participó de lo mismo, para destruir por la muerte al que tenía el imperio de la muerte, es á saber, al diablo,

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

Und erlöste die, so durch Furcht des Todes ihr Leben lang in Knechtschaft gehalten waren.

Y librar á los que por el temor de la muerte estaban por toda la vida sujetos á servidumbre.

And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Denn Er nimmt Sich nirgends der Engel an, sondern des Samens Abrahams nimmt Er Sich an.

Porque ciertamente no tomó á los ángeles, sino á la simiente de Abraham tomó.

For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.

For most certainly, he doesn’t give help to angels, but he gives help to the offspring of Abraham.

Darum mußte Er auch in allem den Brüdern gleich werden, auf daß Er barmherzig wäre und vor Gott ein treuer Hoherpriester würde, um die Sünden des Volkes zu sühnen.

Por lo cual, debía ser en todo semejante á los hermanos, para venir á ser misericordioso y fiel Pontífice en lo que es para con Dios, para expiar los pecados del pueblo.

Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

Denn worin Er Selbst gelitten hat und versucht worden ist, darin kann Er denen helfen, die in Versuchung kommen.

Porque en cuanto él mismo padeció siendo tentado, es poderoso para socorrer á los que son tentados.

For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
