Welchen aber zürnte er 40 Jahre? Nicht denen, die gesündigt hatten, deren Leiber in der Wüste fielen?

Mas ¿con cuáles estuvo enojado cuarenta años? ¿No fué con los que pecaron, cuyos cuerpos cayeron en el desierto?

But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?

With whom was he displeased forty years? Wasn’t it with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
