POR tanto, hermanos santos, participantes de la vocación celestial, considerad al Apóstol y Pontífice de nuestra profesión, Cristo Jesús;
Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;

daß ich auch schwur in meinem Zorn, sie sollten zu meiner Ruhe nicht kommen.
El cual es fiel al que le constituyó, como también lo fué Moisés sobre toda su casa.
Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.

Sehet zu, liebe Brüder, daß nicht jemand unter euch ein arges, ungläubiges Herz habe, das da abtrete von dem lebendigen Gott,
Porque de tanto mayor gloria que Moisés éste es estimado digno, cuanto tiene mayor dignidad que la casa el que la fabricó.
For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house.
For he has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, because he who built the house has more honor than the house.
sondern ermahnet euch selbst alle Tage, solange es heute heißt, daß nicht jemand unter euch verstocket werde durch Betrug der Sünde.
Porque toda casa es edificada de alguno: mas el que crió todas las cosas es Dios.
For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.
For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God.
Denn wir sind Christi teilhaftig worden, so wir anders das angefangene Wesen bis ans Ende fest behalten,
Y Moisés á la verdad fué fiel sobre toda su casa, como siervo, para testificar lo que se había de decir;
And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;

solange gesagt wird: Heute, so ihr seine Stimme hören werdet, so verstocket eure Herzen nicht, wie in der Verbitterung geschah.
Mas Cristo como hijo, sobre su casa; la cual casa somos nosotros, si hasta el cabo retuviéremos firme la confianza y la gloria de la esperanza.
But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
but Christ is faithful as a Son over his house. We are his house, if we hold fast our confidence and the glorying of our hope firm to the end.
Denn etliche, da sie höreten, richteten eine Verbitterung an, aber nicht alle, die von Ägypten ausgingen durch Mose.
Por lo cual, como dice el Espíritu Santo: Si oyereis hoy su voz,
Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,

Über welche aber ward er entrüstet vierzig Jahre lang? Ist's nicht also, daß über die, so da sündigten, deren Leiber in der Wüste verfielen?
No endurezcáis vuestros corazones como en la provocación, en el día de la tentación en el desierto,
Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
don’t harden your hearts as in the rebellion, in the day of the trial in the wilderness,
Welchen schwur er aber, daß sie nicht zu seiner Ruhe kommen sollten, denn den Ungläubigen?
Donde me tentaron vuestros padres; me probaron, y vieron mis obras cuarenta años.
When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.
where your fathers tested me and tried me, and saw my deeds for forty years.
Und wir sehen, daß sie nicht haben können hineinkommen um des Unglaubens willen.
A causa de lo cual me enemisté con esta generación, y dije: Siempre divagan ellos de corazón, y no han conocido mis caminos.
Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.
Therefore I was displeased with that generation, and said, ‘They always err in their heart, but they didn’t know my ways.’
So lasset uns nun fürchten, daß wir die Verheißung, einzukommen zu seiner Ruhe, nicht versäumen, und unser keiner dahintenbleibe.
Juré, pues, en mi ira: No entrarán en mi reposo.
So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)
As I swore in my wrath, ‘They will not enter into my rest.’”
Denn es ist uns auch verkündiget gleichwie jenen; aber das Wort der Predigt half jenen nichts, da nicht glaubeten die, so es höreten.
Mirad, hermanos, que en ninguno de vosotros haya corazón malo de incredulidad para apartarse del Dios vivo:
Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there might be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God;
Denn wir, die wir glauben, gehen in die Ruhe, wie er spricht: Daß ich schwur in meinem Zorn, sie sollten zu meiner Ruhe nicht kommen. Und zwar, da die Werke von Anbeginn der Welt waren gemacht,
Antes exhortaos los unos á los otros cada día, entre tanto que se dice Hoy; porque ninguno de vosotros se endurezca con engaño de pecado:
But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called “today”, lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
sprach er an einem Ort von dem siebenten Tage also: Und Gott ruhete am siebenten Tage von allen seinen Werken.
Porque participantes de Cristo somos hechos, con tal que conservemos firme hasta el fin el principio de nuestra confianza;
For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence firm to the end,
Und hier an diesem Ort abermal: Sie sollen nicht kommen zu meiner Ruhe.
Entre tanto que se dice: Si oyereis hoy su voz, no endurezcáis vuestros corazones, como en la provocación.
While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
while it is said, “Today if you will hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts, as in the rebellion.”
Nachdem es nun noch vorhanden ist, daß etliche sollen zu derselbigen kommen, und die, denen es zuerst verkündiget ist, sind nicht dazu kommen um des Unglaubens willen,
Porque algunos de los que habían salido de Egipto con Moisés, habiendo oído, provocaron, aunque no todos.
For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
For who, when they heard, rebelled? Wasn’t it all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses?
bestimmte er abermal einen Tag nach solcher langen Zeit und sagte durch David: Heute, wie gesagt ist, heute, so ihr seine Stimme hören werdet, so verstocket eure Herzen nicht!
Mas ¿con cuáles estuvo enojado cuarenta años? ¿No fué con los que pecaron, cuyos cuerpos cayeron en el desierto?
But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
With whom was he displeased forty years? Wasn’t it with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
Denn so Josua sie hätte zur Ruhe gebracht, würde er nicht hernach von einem andern Tage gesagt haben.
¿Y á quiénes juró que no entrarían en su reposo, sino á aquellos que no obedecieron?
And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
To whom did he swear that they wouldn’t enter into his rest, but to those who were disobedient?
Darum ist noch eine Ruhe vorhanden dem Volk Gottes.
Y vemos que no pudieron entrar á causa de incredulidad.
So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
We see that they weren’t able to enter in because of unbelief.
