Palabra de Dios para Ti
1Por lo cual, hermanos santos, participantes del llamamiento celestial, consideren a Jesús, el Apóstol y Sumo Sacerdote de la fe que profesamos,
2Quien es fiel al que lo designó, como también fue Moisés en su casa.
3Porque Éste fue considerado digno de mayor gloria que Moisés, como el que edificó la casa tiene mayor honra que ella.
4Porque toda casa es construida por alguno, pero Dios es Quien hizo todas las cosas.
5Ciertamente Moisés fue fiel en toda su casa como un esclavo, para testimonio de las cosas que serían dichas,
6pero Cristo como Hijo fue fiel sobre su casa, la cual somos nosotros, si nos aferramos a la confianza y al enaltecimiento de la esperanza.
7Por tanto, como dice el Espíritu Santo: Si oyen hoy su voz,
8No endurezcan sus corazones como en la rebelión El día de la tentación en el desierto,
9Donde sus antepasados intentaron probarme Y vieron mis obras 40 años.
10Por lo cual, estuve airado contra aquella generación y dije: Siempre son extraviados en el corazón Y no entendieron mis caminos.
11Por tanto juré en mi ira: No entrarán en mi reposo.
12Cuídense, hermanos, para que ninguno de ustedes tenga un corazón malo de incredulidad para apostatar del Dios vivo.
13Más bien, exhórtense los unos a los otros cada día, mientras se dice: Hoy. Para que ninguno de ustedes se endurezca por el engaño del pecado.
14Porque somos participantes de Cristo, si retenemos firme hasta el fin la confianza que tuvimos al principio,
15mientras se dice: Hoy. Si escuchan su voz, No endurezcan sus corazones, como cuando se rebelaron contra Él.
16Porque, ¿quiénes lo provocaron después de escuchar? ¿No fueron todos los que salieron de Egipto dirigidos por Moisés?
17¿Contra quiénes estuvo airado 40 años? ¿No fue contra los que pecaron, quienes cayeron muertos en el desierto?
18¿A quiénes Dios juró que no entrarían en su reposo? ¿No fue a los que desobedecieron?
19Vemos que no pudieron entrar por causa de su incredulidad.

1POR tanto, hermanos santos, participantes de la vocación celestial, considerad al Apóstol y Pontífice de nuestra profesión, Cristo Jesús;
2El cual es fiel al que le constituyó, como también lo fué Moisés sobre toda su casa.
3Porque de tanto mayor gloria que Moisés éste es estimado digno, cuanto tiene mayor dignidad que la casa el que la fabricó.
4Porque toda casa es edificada de alguno: mas el que crió todas las cosas es Dios.
5Y Moisés á la verdad fué fiel sobre toda su casa, como siervo, para testificar lo que se había de decir;
6Mas Cristo como hijo, sobre su casa; la cual casa somos nosotros, si hasta el cabo retuviéremos firme la confianza y la gloria de la esperanza.
7Por lo cual, como dice el Espíritu Santo: Si oyereis hoy su voz,
8No endurezcáis vuestros corazones como en la provocación, en el día de la tentación en el desierto,
9Donde me tentaron vuestros padres; me probaron, y vieron mis obras cuarenta años.
10A causa de lo cual me enemisté con esta generación, y dije: Siempre divagan ellos de corazón, y no han conocido mis caminos.
11Juré, pues, en mi ira: No entrarán en mi reposo.
12Mirad, hermanos, que en ninguno de vosotros haya corazón malo de incredulidad para apartarse del Dios vivo:
13Antes exhortaos los unos á los otros cada día, entre tanto que se dice Hoy; porque ninguno de vosotros se endurezca con engaño de pecado:
14Porque participantes de Cristo somos hechos, con tal que conservemos firme hasta el fin el principio de nuestra confianza;
15Entre tanto que se dice: Si oyereis hoy su voz, no endurezcáis vuestros corazones, como en la provocación.
16Porque algunos de los que habían salido de Egipto con Moisés, habiendo oído, provocaron, aunque no todos.
17Mas ¿con cuáles estuvo enojado cuarenta años? ¿No fué con los que pecaron, cuyos cuerpos cayeron en el desierto?
18¿Y á quiénes juró que no entrarían en su reposo, sino á aquellos que no obedecieron?
19Y vemos que no pudieron entrar á causa de incredulidad.

1Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
2Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.
3For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house.
4For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.
5And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;
6But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
7Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,
8Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
9When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.
10Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.
11So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)
12Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
13But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
14For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
15While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
16For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
17But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
18And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
19So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

1Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession: Jesus,
2who was faithful to him who appointed him, as also Moses was in all his house.
3For he has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, because he who built the house has more honor than the house.
4For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God.
5Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were afterward to be spoken,
6but Christ is faithful as a Son over his house. We are his house, if we hold fast our confidence and the glorying of our hope firm to the end.
7Therefore, even as the Holy Spirit says, “Today if you will hear his voice,
8don’t harden your hearts as in the rebellion, in the day of the trial in the wilderness,
9where your fathers tested me and tried me, and saw my deeds for forty years.
10Therefore I was displeased with that generation, and said, ‘They always err in their heart, but they didn’t know my ways.’
11As I swore in my wrath, ‘They will not enter into my rest.’”
12Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there might be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God;
13but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called “today”, lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
14For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence firm to the end,
15while it is said, “Today if you will hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts, as in the rebellion.”
16For who, when they heard, rebelled? Wasn’t it all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses?
17With whom was he displeased forty years? Wasn’t it with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
18To whom did he swear that they wouldn’t enter into his rest, but to those who were disobedient?
19We see that they weren’t able to enter in because of unbelief.
