Tengamos temor, no sea que, aunque se sostiene la promesa de entrar en su reposo, tal vez alguno de ustedes quede excluido.
TEMAMOS, pues, que quedando aún la promesa de entrar en su reposo, parezca alguno de vosotros haberse apartado.
Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
Let’s fear therefore, lest perhaps anyone of you should seem to have come short of a promise of entering into his rest.
Porque tanto a ellos como a nosotros se nos anunciaron las Buenas Noticias, pero a ellos no los benefició la Palabra de la predicación porque los que la oyeron no la mezclaron con la fe.
Porque también á nosotros se nos ha evangelizado como á ellos; mas no les aprovechó el oir la palabra á los que la oyeron sin mezclar fe.
For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

Pero los que creímos entramos en un lugar de reposo. Con respecto a los que no creyeron, dijo: Juré en mi ira, No entrarán en mi reposo. Sin embargo, Él terminó todas las obras desde la fundación del mundo.

For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

Dios otra vez fija un día: Hoy, cuando dijo después de mucho tiempo por medio de David, como ya se dijo: Hoy. Si escuchan su voz, No endurezcan sus corazones.

Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
he again defines a certain day, “today”, saying through David so long a time afterward (just as has been said), “Today if you will hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts.”
Porque si el mismo Josué los hubiera llevado a un lugar de reposo, no hablaría después de estas cosas con respecto a otro día.
