Quando Deus decidiu mostrar, mais claramente, para os herdeiros da promessa a qualidade imutável do seu propósito, Ele o garantiu com um juramento.

Por lo cual, queriendo Dios mostrar más abundantemente á los herederos de la promesa la inmutabilidad de su consejo, interpuso juramento;

Where in God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
