Deus também se comprometeu fazendo um juramento, a fim de que os herdeiros da promessa soubessem com toda a certeza e nunca precisassem recear que ele mudaria seus planos.

Por lo cual, queriendo Dios mostrar más abundantemente á los herederos de la promesa la inmutabilidad de su consejo, interpuso juramento;

Where in God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
