Ele o fez por meio de duas coisas imutáveis, nas quais é impossível que Deus minta; para que nós, que saímos em busca de refúgio, pudéssemos ter forte encorajamento para apegar-nos firmemente na esperança que nos foi proposta.
Para que por dos cosas inmutables, en las cuales es imposible que Dios mienta, tengamos un fortísimo consuelo, los que nos acogemos á trabarnos de la esperanza propuesta:
