Este Melquisedeque, rei de Salém, é de fato sacerdote do Deus Altíssimo. Ele encontrou-se com Abraão quando este retornava da matança dos reis, e o abençoou.

PORQUE este Melchîsedec, rey de Salem, sacerdote del Dios Altísimo, el cual salió á recibir á Abraham que volvía de la derrota de los reyes, y le bendijo,
